I have an intel 3570k cpu and an nvidia gtx 670 gpu, and it only uses my gpu for the 3d clview, but when it renders photos, it only uses my cpu, which makes rendering take so much longer.
i5 3570k@4.4ghz gtx 670, 8gb ddr3 1600mhz
I've been rendering lossless files in after effects for a year now without any problems. Now all of a sudden when I render .mov files, the playback is frayed and jumpy... audio doesn't match, etc. I've tried rendering lower then upper fields and vise versa, and both at once. nothing works.

When rendering a job the program stops responding. The task manager shows the cpu working hard but the memory is not being used at all. Windows reports failure to recover program and the application exits.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRendering at high quality, exterior sun only, 150 DPI and the image is about 9' tall x5' wide. Everything goes great until it hits 26%. Then the bar goes full on 100% but the image is only 26% rendered.
I have a 2gb video card, 4.1Ghz overclocked processor and about 8GB of RAM. Perhaps I havn't allocated enough memory to render an image of this size?

I have just loaded Revit 2014, and then loaded a project file created in Revit 2013. When I try to render a view in the cloud I get an error message that says "The file could not be translated.-1" I have tried this with several projects and get the same error for all.
However if i create a new project in 2014 the render works fine, it only seams to be a problem when I upgrade a project from revit 2012 or 2013.
I am using Revit 2013 and I am rendering in the Cloud and my renderings are not turning out as well as I want them to. I was wondering what the intial settings under the graphics should be? like what shadows I should use? how high the exposure should be? Even when I turn the sun completely off the sun still shows through the windows. My renderings are also showing up grainy.

I have opened up projects from previous releases that I was able to get interior scenes to render correctly and they render fine in 2013. I've imported the modified fixtures to the current projects file and they still don't do anything. The scene I'm talking about has a ceiling modeled on the underside of a floor. I've read this may be an issue, but my light fixtures light source is to be 1/4" above the plane of the ceiling. In my case, it's a 5/8" layer of drywall.

I drew out the pattern using the sketch line tool and I chose a joint condition in between the panels. The joint lines of the panels show up in my 3d model but when I render it the joints lines don't render. How can make my panel joint lines show up in my render?

I rendered a few cameras and they turned out ok, but all of a sudden the rendered images turned out blue and yellow. I didn't make any changes in the materials or lighting, but they still turn out the same. I even tried rendering in another computer but nothing changed. I attached the image.

Recently we bought numbers of Revit Suite 2013 and expects the best performances from it. but, regretably speaking the rendering time is worst than before upgrading.In addition to that, we also upgraded our Workstation to 16 GB RAM and a QUADRO graphic engine, but it still take more than an hour to render one simple view.what could be the cause? i hope it is not the software that we bought( cost us thousands... ) here i post the rendering screen and the task performance while we are rendering,ASAP reply needed as all our REVIT workstations moving away from our deep expectation.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to render my linked files in Cloud. For some reasons the linked files walls are misplaced in the drawing. Please take a look at the attached file.
What I have tried to do to resolve the problem and have not worked:
1.Reloded the links.
2.Created new camera views.
3.Tried to use RVT Link Display Settings and rendered with both 'by host view' and by 'linked view'
4.In proprties; tried to use the different Dicipline Settings.
5.Tried to use the different settings in Manage Links to either attachment/overlay under Reference Type or absolute/relative under Path Type.
I'm using Revit 2014.
I started rendering using 360 cloud a few weeks ago. I've done lots of renders, all working fine until a few days ago.Now when i submit a render to the cloud in Revit 2014, it takes forever to process and then says either"could not complete your request, failed to authenticate" or something similar but with "could not upload file" as well.
I have tried logging out and clearing my browser cache etc but it still wont work.
I am having problems with my rendering, yesterday everything was working fine but today every time i set rendering quality higher than draft, Revit either fails to render (rendering area goes black) or the pc crashes and i get bluescreen.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm attempting to render a series of images in the cloud and my plan is to take these images into Photoshop so that I can apply a background from an image I possess.
To do this I need the background to be a plain white background, export as a TIFF or PNG, then add an alpha channel in Photoshop. The problem is that whatever settings I apply in Revit, the cloud rendering always gives me the standard grey / blue horizon background. I have changed the render settings using the render setup, through the view properties, through the graphic display, still no joy....
What Revit 2012 setting makes walls and floors disappear when rendering is selected?
I have a Revit 8.1 project that renderes the model just fine. When I import it into Revit 2010 it also remders the model but I have to reassign the custom finishes. But when I upgrade it to 2012 and render - the walls and floors are suddenly missing!

I wanted to create a sky background for my model , so i went to visual style tab/ graphic display options/ background and choosed image then customize image and opened my sky image, then apply, then ok , but still the image didn`t appear in the background !

Every dimension under the thickness column reads 0'-2" instead of just 2" or whatever the thickness may be. I could just make a new parameter, but I was hoping to edit the current thickness parameter.

I inserted a linked revit model which is the structure and i'm having trouble with two subjects:
- the linked revit model doesn't overlay the walls and other families;
- i would like to change the color of this model in order to have a better visualization, and also isolate it from the main model.
When I click on search, my computer opens the notepad application and the error message says "the filename, directory name, or volume lable syntax is incorrect." I cant go to the videos or the wiki directly from revit either. None of the resources on the right side of the screen are accessible. I do have the educator version of the software. I have tried to reinstall from the application, but have not uninstalled and reinstalled completely.
