I inserted a linked revit model which is the structure and i'm having trouble with two subjects:
- the linked revit model doesn't overlay the walls and other families;
- i would like to change the color of this model in order to have a better visualization, and also isolate it from the main model.
I have a project in wich rooms functionality is compromised. I don't know why the room tool doesn't recognise a simple room delimited by walls whose property divides rooms is set to yes. If I place a rectangle of rooms delimiters the room tool works properly instead. If I start a new project the tool works properly.

I'm able to do the walls but when i switch it to the analytical view the wall doesn't appear because it's not structural. It's there a way to do in-place mass structural walls.
View 1 Replies View Related In "Categories" of the filters window, it can be selected things which composes its mass, such as Mass Exterior Wall, Mass Glazing, Mass Roof. And these things can be clicked only after its mass become energy model.
I set up a filter rule of Mass Roof and applied it to V/G Filters of a view, but it did not displayed in Analyze Mass Model, the same as Mass Exterior Wall, Mass Glazing.
I have a drawing containg wall elements that is referenced into a whole bunch of other drawings (roughly a hundret).
In the wall-drawing i recently set the walls color to "by layer" via the display properties in style manager.
Unfortunately they keep their old color in the other files. I tried visretain and it didn't do the trick.
I recently subscribed to the Creative Cloud and installed both Photoshop and Lightroom.
After working with the new LR5 for the first few days I noticed that when I am within the Lens Correction and I click 'Manual' in order to manually correct perspective you always get a grid overlay that shows up when you hover over the different Transform options (Distortion, vertical, horizontal, etc...) and it no longer shows the overlay.
In order for me to correct the perspective I have to manually click Option+Comand+O in order to get the grid, which is a little bit annoying since it was automatic before.
I need to create a carriageway overlay corridor on and existing carriageway that has a curved surface and not a typical crossfall. I've tried the LaneParabolic assembly but it doesn't give me the control I need to target an alignment and profile.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm at my wits end trying to cut a wall with a void. I want to chamfer the corners of a wall, but I can't get even a basic void to cut from a wall. I get the error : "This Mass has no solid geometry for its Void Forms to cut. They must be deleted, or solid geometry added and cut." They clearly intersect, what am I doing wrong?

I have tried attaching top base etc. but its not working. I only seem to be able to select one side of the roof when selecting where to attach the walls. I have attached 3d pics showing the walls that are extruding & also one of the walls that I am trying to attach.
Just what the title says. Walls dont appear when drawing in plan view but appear in the 3d view. how come??

The floor slab is in the right position. To fix the problem I redrew them all, but why did they disappear and how do I prevent it from happening again?

I have a second wall (curtain wall) that needs to occupy that space with a 1/2" gap on either side and a 1" gap along the top. I can maintain the gap along the top, but when the gaps along the sides shrinks below 1", the walls meet and the gap is reduced to zero. I've tried making the internal wall into a group, but whenever the outer wall's profile is edited to within 1/2", And I click the Finish button, the interior wall (inside the group) extends to meet it. Automatically Embed is turned off for the curtain wall. I've tried locked dimensions, but that didn't seem to work.
How I can maintain the gap without the walls closing?

I will be using a truss to span from bearing wall to bearing wall. What would be the best work flow for the drywall ceiling material. The ceiling seems to require a core element. I cannot seem to manage drywall alone. If I create a ceiling with 2x4 core and drywall finish and create a ceiling over the whole area the ceiling seems to auto dim to the ceiling finish and not the core 2x4. Normally when you select a wall, it should be possible to edit the wall and its profile, though when a wall is curved, the button "edit profile" is gray.
