View 6 Replies View RelatedI’ve got a student version (AutoCAD for Mac 2013) , which I got from official website. There starting to appear few problems after a few months of my work.
1. when I’m doing a rectangle, lines that intersect or just lines that contact, in the point of connection appear small blue rectangles and windows of mistakes. If I trying to move only one element of this object, all others elements start to deform in chaotic way.
2. when I’m coping any object on the same page in one file, program start to buzz and I need to close the program despotic.
I don't find a way to isolate and undo isolate an occurrence in Assembly, looking for the right code in VB.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to switch to the classic tray view in AutoCAD 2014? What I am referring to as "classic" was the tray that had the more rectangular icons with words in them as opposed to graphics. The buttons would highlight if active. To ensure I am clear on what I am referring to as the "tray": the new tray has smaller, square icons, shown below.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to 2013 from 2007 and I am having some weird trouble with the move command. I will try to explain.. I type the move command and then select a particular object I would like to move a little and it grabs some (not all) of other objects/lines near it and then stretches the lot in all directions! It actually doesn't allow me to move it at all without stretching/extending all these areas. I have tried everything I can think of and am not sure what I am missing. I thought it was somehow related to the polyline I was selecting, but it does it to single lines as well.
View 2 Replies View Relatedinstead of isolating the entity selected, it LOCKS all other layers, except the one you select

It's impossible to use isolate selection one after another to get deeper in complex models with many objects? Did I miss something?
1) How do I get the ucs Icon (X,Y axis) to not move when I zoom in and out. I want it to be stationary in the bottom left corner as I'm used to seeing it.
2) For some reason I cannot peform the simple task of drawing a line by picking a point and then entering a distance. Ever since I've been drafting with cad I have been able to type "line" in the command line and then am asked to "specify first point" (I do so), and am asked to "specify second point" (which I do). Normally I do this in ortho mode (0, 90, 180 etc.) For example, using 25', I lead the cursor to the right as my "second point", and the line normally shows up 25' to the right. This is not happening now for some reason. After I specify my second point as 25', the command linen states, "point or option keyword required" and does not draw the line. I'm sure the solution is an easy one but I've never seen this happen before.
When I draw a square and then a line attached to the square and then try to move the line the line the square move with it. How can i avoid that
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat happened to the option/enter command in the move object dialog that has been around since the early days of Illustrator??? Instead of having to mouse click the "copy" button in the move object window, one could just hold down option with Return or Enter and the Copy command would happen rather than a simple move. Immensely useful for prepress work!
View 2 Replies View RelatedThere is some random block in my drawing that has a random 3D UCS icon attached to it. When I mouse over it, it highlights a little orange square on the UCS.
What the heck is this thing and how do I get rid of it?
I made a drawing where there is is a complex part dimensioned. For this part there is also a .dxf drawing of the unfold contour.
I want to add a link to this .dxf so the person on the CNC can quickly open it. But, when I display as icon I still get a the full drawing.

In previous versions of Max, if you locked an object and were in the Move command, the move icon would show up no matter where you were in the viewport. Now, even if the object is locked, it will only show up while hovering over the object. My question is, was this intentional, or is there a way to turn it on and off? For my workflow this is a highly annoying change. I work without gizmos on. I only use axis constraints and I lock everything before I move it. I can still move things from anywhere in the viewport if the selected object is locked. The problem is that I can never tell that things are locked because the way of knowing (move icon always on) is now gone. I can always look down at the lock icon, but getting used to this is proving difficult.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently updated from 2000 to LT2013. In 2000 I could Modify Text. So far I have found nothing that allows me to Modify Text."To Replace Existing Dimension Text With Alternate Text" it says to "Click Modify menu > Object >Text >Edit." The only Modify menu I can find is the Modify menu at the top showing 12 icons then it's drop down showing 14 more icons. There is no Object icon in that menu. how to Modify Text in LT2013.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running AutoCAD 2013. My issue is that the top row of icons (New, Open, Save, etc. and all of the Autodesk 360 info) have become nearly invisible. If I hover the cursor over the icon it tells me what it is and I know I am clicking in the correct area. I think it was some sort of background transparency issue, but can't remember where to reset that to opaque.

I have recently been fighting an override of some sort that doesn't want to go away. As an example, for basic copy command, I would normally select my object to copy, type C, hit the space bar, and select my object again to copy to new location. With this override, I select my object, type C, hit the space bar, and in the command line, this appears:
Command: c COPY 1 found
Current Settings: Copy mode = Multiple
Specify base point or [Displacement/mOde] : c
In AutoCAD 2010, the UCS Icon settings dialogue window has a 'Cone' setting for displaying coned arrows at the end point of each axis. This 'cone' setting has been removed from 2011-2014. What logical reason why this was removed and is it possible there is a hidden setting to bring it back in 2014?

I thought there was a setting for this? I want to adjust the Osnaps so they appear further away from the point. IE: As I want to pick the quadrant I have to get so close to the quadrant before the osnap shows. I can't remember the variable to adjust this distance.

Every time I open ACA 2013, my toolbars that I have loaded turn off. Well currently only the layers toolbar remains, my custom toolbar and the properties toolbar turn off every time I open ACA with the icon or the exe file itself. If I open a drawing file the toolbars seem to remain. I also just installed the service pack, no change.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn ACA 2011 I have the project browser icon. This is easy to find and use in the 2011 quick access toolbar.
When I open the "Customize user interface" I find and select "Project Browser", then I see under the properties of the command I only see "Display" and "Advanced" nothing else is listed. This command is quite odd compared to other commands.
However, in ACA 2013 this icon is completely missing, I cannot find it in the quick access toolbar, when I search in the "Customize user interface" command list, I cannot find "Project Browser" in the search field of the command list.
How do I find the command for project browser so that I can drag it / steal it from another .cuix file?
Bonus Question: How do I stop the sheet set manager from always showing up? I use the sheets tab of the project navigator all the time.
