AutoCAD 2010 :: How To Create A Cube With The Bottom Of Cube
Mar 6, 2012
I need to create a cube with the bottom of the cube being flat and then the top being at a slope with all 4 top corners being at different heights, basically I am looking to see if there is a command that let's me drag the corners to where I want it but for the life of me I can't find it
The problem is: the view cube doesn't respond and the navigation pane/tool/group doesn't respond either. If i click on any of the tools it doesn't register in the command line.
The view cube stops working after some amount of time (or clicks) regardless of what I've been doing. If I switch to another drawing the view cube works fine there. If I close the (not working) drawing and open again it works fine.
Just noticed that the Nav Cube is being displayed (I usually keep it turned off as its a bit annoying) but its pointing in an odd way as I'm using the world UCS with no TWISTS or anything.
At work one of our computers is running Acad 2009. For some reason the nav. cube only shows if I use a visual style other than 2D Wireframe. With the latter it's gone, and seeing how 2D Wireframe is what I use 90% of the time I really miss the cube! I can't find a solution to this in the nav. cube options.
URL....I have recently started designing a few replacement parts for a motorcycle restoration I am working on and while up to now.I have been working in the 2D space I need to convert a 2D drawing to 3D!
I think I have a list of commands and tools to be used but for the life of me I cannot turn on the VIEW CUBE...I spent about 90 minutes trying last night.I did look in options and it was not visible there?
I have Product Design Suite Premium 2013. In this, the AutoCAD program (with Mechanical loaded or not) at times has an error with a file where the View Cube will move with the zooming (gets larger and smaller) and panning (moves around screent), until I regen (goes back to original position). In addition when it moves, it no longer functions (even if I attempt to click on the screen where it should stay). This is getting quite annoying, because I can't seem to discover the cause. Some CAD files were corrupt, others were not. I just updated the video card driver (ATI Radeon HD 5970 1gb DDR 5), it has no effect.
I am running 2009 SP1 on a 32-bit machine. When I move the mouse in Inventor, the View Cube blinks. This started before installing SP1, but not as often. Now it blinks constantly as I move the mouse. I have re-installed the mouse driver, but that did not work.
I have recently been upgraded to AutoCAD 2011 and have noticed that the Navv Cube is on. I have found by typing in the command NAVVDUBEDISPLY and selecting 0 that this turns it off however it seems to be set to turn back on every existing drawing unless it has been switched off in that drawing and then saved. I didn't use AutoCAD 2010 but have been told that the Navv Cube was turned off unless you selected it to be on. Is there anyway to have toe 2010 option or is this another feature of AutoCAD that they don't want to have changed
My navcube is flipped around all funny like.My model is still oriented properly, everything still reads the right way, and the world ucs seems to be fine as well.
I am working with autocad 2013 .. and I want to see the solid history of some cylinder that i subtracted from a cube ... to do that .. i had to open the properties of the object .. and check under "solid history" >> history (record) & "show history" ( = yes )
and it works great ... except that i found out that one some toturials on youtube .. that he press ctrl only to see that ...
if u want to know what iam talking about [URL] ..... (( from 1:33:00 - 1:35:00 )) (( its almost 2 hours vedio ))
its in arabic but ... he mentioned something called "history control".
is there a way to get rid of the ucs icon/view cube thing in the top right corner?
I open up an old drawing with multiple viewports and half of them have this symbol. So I assume that there is a way to turn it off. Again, trying to make computer faster and not have a graphic symbol in all of my viewports.
In the previous versions of civil 3d 2012 or earlier, I never had a problem with the view cube not staying pointed to the north. Since I never touched it in the past, how do I get it to stay pointed to the north?
Under the view cube, in part files, there must be a short ribbon with 3 or 4 view orientation buttons: the navigation bar.It disappeared, how to bring it back?
I drew a cube using polylines by changing ucs. I want to join the polylines so that the cube contour becomes one single object.
Since the lines are in different planes I can not join them. How could I unite those 12 lines so they become a cube non solid(I plan on placing a sphere inside some of the cubes and then use "shade" for visualization so if the cube is solid I won't see the spheres).
how you can make a cube in Photoshop that looks sketched? My reason is that I try to make a picture for a banner where there will be a box and a dot outside the box,
I made a little profile image for myself to put on my site for when I redesign it. It looks fine. But the problem is, I have these 2 items of text proportioned so they look to be the sides of an invisible 3D rectangle... Problem is, I'm having trouble figuring out a way to make this 3d rectangle rotate so it will show one side (first text item) and then rotate to the next side (smaller item of text)...
The other 2 sides arent visible in this image, but they are the same as the 2 shown as to be a repeating animation. how I can achieve this either with Photoshop/ImageReady or 3D CG program?
