View 2 Replies View RelatedAt work one of our computers is running Acad 2009. For some reason the nav. cube only shows if I use a visual style other than 2D Wireframe. With the latter it's gone, and seeing how 2D Wireframe is what I use 90% of the time I really miss the cube! I can't find a solution to this in the nav. cube options.

I have Product Design Suite Premium 2013. In this, the AutoCAD program (with Mechanical loaded or not) at times has an error with a file where the View Cube will move with the zooming (gets larger and smaller) and panning (moves around screent), until I regen (goes back to original position). In addition when it moves, it no longer functions (even if I attempt to click on the screen where it should stay). This is getting quite annoying, because I can't seem to discover the cause. Some CAD files were corrupt, others were not. I just updated the video card driver (ATI Radeon HD 5970 1gb DDR 5), it has no effect.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am running 2009 SP1 on a 32-bit machine. When I move the mouse in Inventor, the View Cube blinks. This started before installing SP1, but not as often. Now it blinks constantly as I move the mouse. I have re-installed the mouse driver, but that did not work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently been upgraded to AutoCAD 2011 and have noticed that the Navv Cube is on. I have found by typing in the command NAVVDUBEDISPLY and selecting 0 that this turns it off however it seems to be set to turn back on every existing drawing unless it has been switched off in that drawing and then saved. I didn't use AutoCAD 2010 but have been told that the Navv Cube was turned off unless you selected it to be on. Is there anyway to have toe 2010 option or is this another feature of AutoCAD that they don't want to have changed

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe problem is: the view cube doesn't respond and the navigation pane/tool/group doesn't respond either. If i click on any of the tools it doesn't register in the command line.
The view cube stops working after some amount of time (or clicks) regardless of what I've been doing. If I switch to another drawing the view cube works fine there. If I close the (not working) drawing and open again it works fine.
The views under view work.

I open up an old drawing with multiple viewports and half of them have this symbol. So I assume that there is a way to turn it off. Again, trying to make computer faster and not have a graphic symbol in all of my viewports.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI drew a cube using polylines by changing ucs. I want to join the polylines so that the cube contour becomes one single object.
Since the lines are in different planes I can not join them. How could I unite those 12 lines so they become a cube non solid(I plan on placing a sphere inside some of the cubes and then use "shade" for visualization so if the cube is solid I won't see the spheres).
I'm running AutoCAD 2012 (base version, but part of Mechanical install). Part of my .mnl file is set to run (command "cube" "off"). On one machine (Windows 7), it works fine. I'm temporarily on my laptop (Windows 8), & that portion no longer works.
If I type cube in the command line, it works fine. However, if I type (command "cube"), it says unknown command "CUBE".
I just installed a student version of Inventor Pro on my comptuer. I have used this and several other similar software packages before. My problem: when I open a new part file, it takes me to a gray screen. No coordinate axes, view cube, nothing. When I click "Create 2D Sketch," still nothing. Same gray screen. If I draw a line, it doesn't show anything.
I've gone to View -> Object Visibility, and everything seems to be checked off as it should be. I've also clicked User Interface, and it shows the View Cube among other things as being selected.
The software didn't prompt me for an activation key, not sure if that may be relevant to the problem?
