View 2 Replies View RelatedI was just wondering, would it be possible to make 6 images of an environment I made in 3Ds max that would represent front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides of where my camera is positioned?
I would need the lens angle to be 90 degrees so that every image would connect with each other.
I'm pretty sure I could do this, but I never really adjusted the lens angle and I can't access my own computer at the moment. So I'm asking here!
The whole purpose for it is to make an area I can look around in, as my dad is doing this with photo's, using a little program to convert 6 images to one spherical environment. We were discussing it and came to the idea of making something similar to what he does with photo's, but instead of using photo's using a scene made in 3Ds max.
I need to create a cube with the bottom of the cube being flat and then the top being at a slope with all 4 top corners being at different heights, basically I am looking to see if there is a command that let's me drag the corners to where I want it but for the life of me I can't find it
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am creating virtual samples of several hundred coffee mugs using PS CS 5.5. (I have access to CS6 but haven't installed it.) There will be two views of each mug, front and back. The images to be wrapped around the mug are PDFs of identical rectangular dimensions. In general, the effect I seek happens automatically using the 3D cylinder or soda can shapes.
1. Is it possible to buy and install other shapes? Can I buy a white coffee mug?
2. I was also thinking about doing this using the wrap tool and "placing" the image on a mug, then changing the opacity to multiply. Doing it this way makes the effect look more "real." But I don't know how to automate it or if it can be. So far, I'm thinking this would all be hand work.
I have tried to disable photoshop's feature that turns raster images into smart objects when you drag them onto an existing picture, as well as the resizing that occurs. Neither of these general preference settings seems to have any effect.Fully updated CS6
View 5 Replies View RelatedI know how to batch process images to place a logo or watermark on an image. Normally the image is different every time and the exact same logo is placed on all the images.
In this case the image is exactly the same every time but i need it saved in a folder 100 times each with a different logo. So essentially a reverse of the normal process. Same image different logo's.
I have 20 images for a animation I would like to make. I don't want to make a Gif animation, but a PNG animation with Jquery. I need a file like this one: [URL]
How can I import all the 20 images and place them among each other?
Can I place more than one images in the frame? My frame is 1020 by 320. Instead of having one image fill up the space I would like to have 3 images side by side. How do I do this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using CS5 Illustrator for over a year now and have had no problems until yesterday when I opened illustrator and was unable to place any images.
I can click on 'place' and go find the file, it appears to go through the right process then there is no image on the artboard at all, anywhere. Then I decided to open up previously made files that contain placed images and all they have is a bounding box with no image. The Links panel recognises the name of the file but no image is visable, even as a thumbnail.
I would like to know if CorelDraw has a way to randomly place images on a page. They need to be on a angle and going up on right and up on left.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm working with InDesign CS5.5 on a Mac and need to import multiple images into separate layers. The imprint project has a base layer template and several company logos that need to go into their own layer. Is there a way to bring all the logos in at once and have them create their own layer without manually creating each layer and placing images one by one? Can InDesign do this automatically or is there a script? I can't seem to find a way to automate this process.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a large job for a client who uses antique computers. They are so old that he can't run Lightroom. As a workaround, I posted the images I wanted him to look at on SmugMug and we had a disaster. Their sequencing on screen does not match my "as shot" sorting on my Lightroom (4). Is there a way I can print sequential serial numbers/ids on my images before I upload them to SmugMug so we are always talking about the same image?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop cs6. I purchased a template for magazine advertising purposes. The images have been taken out but there are custom designed objects (masked shapes) where I am supposed to place my images. When I attempt to place a photo into one of the shapes, using the Place Command, it does not work.
How can I place an image into one of the objects?
I am using Photoshop CS6. I have a question about Photoshop command Place.(File- Place) . Here are some pictures below. It shows the problem.
I opened the PSD file that has a green circle(picture 1) and using Place command to import other PSD file that has a red circle(picture2). Those 2 PSD files are same size, same canvas size, 1024x1024. So it should place the red circle precisely on the green circle, but as you can see, if I import the red circle PSD into Green circle PSD, Place command won't place the red circle pensively on the green circle. There is a gap between those 2 circles.(Picture3) It's really frustrating, because I have to move the red circle layer manually to place it just onto the green circle.
This command "Place" isn't reliable, so usually I don't use this command, and use Duplicate layer or group to import contents of other PSD, but if Place command can import other PSD file without this gap problem, I will use it because it's much faster than duplicating.
Do you know why and how to place those 2 files without the gap? Is it a glitch? I should not use Place command to import other PSD file?

View 1 Replies View Relatedhow you can make a cube in Photoshop that looks sketched? My reason is that I try to make a picture for a banner where there will be a box and a dot outside the box,
I made a little profile image for myself to put on my site for when I redesign it. It looks fine. But the problem is, I have these 2 items of text proportioned so they look to be the sides of an invisible 3D rectangle... Problem is, I'm having trouble figuring out a way to make this 3d rectangle rotate so it will show one side (first text item) and then rotate to the next side (smaller item of text)...
The other 2 sides arent visible in this image, but they are the same as the 2 shown as to be a repeating animation. how I can achieve this either with Photoshop/ImageReady or 3D CG program?
My 3D CG program is Eovia Carrara Studio 3.
How to create a 3d box in CS6 with custom texture. Before explaining my problem, i saw couple of good 3d onject videos already and i am close to my target but yet not finished
Problem:
I would like to create a 3d product box with custom textures, reflection and shadows. I have my top, front, back and side images in high quality.
My Solution:
1- With my box TOP image, i create the 3d layer.
2- Because it creates the box with the top image looking front, i position it as the top image comes to the top of the box.
3- I resize the box to the dimensions i would like to.
4- Side, front and back textures are missing. As its a custom made box, i can only add all of them in one image so i merge them vertically in a file and add the texture in 3d section
5- With UV scaling, i fit the image perfectly
6- Adding light and reflections
7- Render
Now the main problem is, my images have the exact measures of the real product box and i would like to create a box with these dimensions.
1- How can i play with the dimensions of the 3d box with numbers, such as pixel or cm ? As i can see, its only with %. Or is there an option so when i add the second image (side, front and back, merged), box's length dimension changes accordingly?
2- How can i create 3d box and add different textures to different part of the box? I found CUBE MESH PRESET in the forums but no download link, EVEN IN THE DISCCUSION itself
3- I have a i5-3570 , 8GB Ram, 1GB Radeon HD7750 at work, newly built. I work with high resolution files, and when i create my box and render it, some parts come out blur, why this is happening? At home i have a older PC, and it doesnt happen that much. Where i can modify the render quality or such a thing if it exists?
I am missing the cube preset in cs6 extended
View 1 Replies View RelatedI cut and paste in place from a layer to an other and its not in the right place. it seems new since CS6
I have multiple artworks on my file but i could do it since then. do you now how to not talke care of it ?
I am using PS CS6 extended on Win 7.
Two Questions
1) How do I color the top and sides of a 3D object, made by extrusion a rectangle, with a gradient color? In what I am doing.... I don't really care about the "texture" of the 3D rectangle, I want the top and sides to match the gradient I made on the face of the rectangle. I see the in properties of the extruded material the diffuse, specular, illumination and ambient settings.....but none of these lets you pick a gradient color.
I "guess" I can make separate layers to build a 3D rectangle box, and warp/distort the visible top and side after coloring it with a gradient..........but it seems like this is the idea, or part of the idea of a 3D object.
2) Why is there no true 3D rectangle objects, only cubes (spheres, pyramids, etc.)? Can you scale the cube into a 3D rectangle, if so how?
I only see the Cube Wrap, which puts the same texture on all faces. I want to have a different image on each face, and the Cube Preset in CS5 lets me do that.
Am I missing something in CS6?
It is making me queasy from rotating my model in 3d space. And I don't think my wedges are sitting right...
note: there is no purpose to the model other than to practice mirroring
Just noticed that the Nav Cube is being displayed (I usually keep it turned off as its a bit annoying) but its pointing in an odd way as I'm using the world UCS with no TWISTS or anything.
