Jul 21, 2013I am trying to find a way to add both primary and secondary images to the 3d preset cube surfaces.

View 2 RepliesI'm using Lightroom 4 on a shiny new 27" iMac and have a very old Dell 24" display, not LED backlit, as a secondary display. Both have been calibrated with a Spyder 3. I would like to preview photos on my iMac display by default and use all edit controls on the old Dell display but setting this up is a pain in the butt and it won't return to this configuration after I quit LR and open it again.
Even when I right-click on the dock in OS X Mavericks and select "Options/Desktop on Display 2" I only get the splash page on Display 2.
Is there any way to make LR open by default on the system's secondary display (Dell 24") and use the iMac itself as LR's secondary display?
I am missing the cube preset in cs6 extended

Am I missing something in CS6?
I want to put a couple of pictures on a 3D cube.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was just wondering, would it be possible to make 6 images of an environment I made in 3Ds max that would represent front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides of where my camera is positioned?
I would need the lens angle to be 90 degrees so that every image would connect with each other.
I'm pretty sure I could do this, but I never really adjusted the lens angle and I can't access my own computer at the moment. So I'm asking here!
The whole purpose for it is to make an area I can look around in, as my dad is doing this with photo's, using a little program to convert 6 images to one spherical environment. We were discussing it and came to the idea of making something similar to what he does with photo's, but instead of using photo's using a scene made in 3Ds max.
I need to create a cube with the bottom of the cube being flat and then the top being at a slope with all 4 top corners being at different heights, basically I am looking to see if there is a command that let's me drag the corners to where I want it but for the life of me I can't find it
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen an image is cropped using the cropping tool to a preset aspect ratio (without specifying a resolution), the resolution of the cropped image is different than the original. I'd like to be able to understand exactly how this new resolution is determined and be able to calculate it myself. The help section of the software just says, "If you use a preset size, the resolution changes to fit the preset." But I'd like to know the details of how the resolution changes.
How the resolution of the cropped image is determined in Photoshop Elements?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Lightroom 4 and developed a picture in it last week. I saved the picture onto my desktop and sent it to my client. She loved the way it looked and wants other pictures to look the same way (tone/cold color, etc). I did not save the history as a preset before I exported it out. How can I get the history back from when I worked on it last week? Is it stored in the pictures data somewhere or do I have to try and recreate the image adjustments??
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor example, I often export a folder of full-res images, and then go back and do the same images as lo-res with watermarks, that I export to an "email" folder inside the hi-res folder. That way, I email the little ones for clients to peruse, and then send the full-res after they agree to buy. I know I can set up two presets and do them separately, but thought I'd ask.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have opened Photoshop (7.0) I get a message on the lines of: -
You currently have Photoshop's Primary Scratch & Windows paging file on the same volume which can result in reduced performance.
It recommends that I should set the primary scratch volume to a different Physical Drive.
I have looked at my preferences which I havent changed (not intentionally anyway) and the First Choice is set as Startup and the others have nothing set. I only have my C drive and am unsure how to Zone another area for a second choice. Is it as simple as setting a folder somewhere on the drive. (I have 14Gb free).

if it is allowed as per license since I have heard that multi platform is not allowed but I couldn't see anywhere in the EULA forbidding this.

It seems like this is some sort of option that I must have turned on accidentally, but I can't find anything about it.

We are having an issue with Dimensioning and the Primary Units not maintaining the correct value. We use metric so the multiplier of 25.4 or .039370079 for Dim Scale Linear would be used in our Dimension Styles depending on if we are drawing in model space or annotating in paper space. We have created specific Dim Styles for Model and Paper space. Every so often some of us will us the Dim Style for paper space and a metric unit would be shown. When we go into the properties of that dimension and change the Dim Scale Linear to 1 it shows as a different dimension then it actually is. After looking at the correct dimenion, we noticed the Dim Scale Linear shows .9449 but gives the correct dimension.
Note: We are drawing in Metric a multiplier of 25.4, our dimensions are done in english. A scale factor of .039370079 is used to accomplish this.
There is a simple fix with Match Properties but it still doesn't answer why our dimension show up wrong with a different multiplier for Dim Scale Linear.
How can I set the primary External Editor in LR4? I recently upgraded to CS5.5, then uninstalled CS5 and now Lightroom thinks it should use CS4 which is not longer installed. I've unstalled and reinstalled LR4 and nothing changed. I deleted the preferences file and nothing changed.
Why isn't there an easy way to change this setting?
How do I change the primary external editor to Elements 11? It was an old version of PS which I removed and had hoped that since it was no longer available, LR would look for a new one as primary. I already have my Topaz products for the additional external editor. Is it possible to have more than one? If the default choice of LR is unavailable, how do i get LR to look for new one?

I have a clip where a white box that reflects too much--it moves, so I need the exposure correction to move as well--like color corrections move with the Secondary Color Correction, but with exposure instead.
I just need to tone-it done some, if possible.
I tried using the Three-Way, but there isn't enough color to grab.
When I use the AutoCAD List command on a Civil 3d Point, one reported datum is Primary Point Group.
I want to get at that information with vlisp, but when I vlax-dump a point, there is no mention of Primary Point Group. If that's a limitation of using vlisp, let me know, and I won't chase it.
Maybe I have to go in through the point groups collection?
