CorelDRAW X3 :: Randomly Place Images On Page?
Apr 9, 2012I would like to know if CorelDraw has a way to randomly place images on a page. They need to be on a angle and going up on right and up on left.

CorelDRAW X5 :: Coloured Desktop And Page Background Randomly?
Jun 15, 2011recently installed X5. More often than not - when I open Corel X5 everything has a yellow tint. Doesnt happen all the time. Checkout the image below. X5 over top of an X4 window. Everything on and inc desktop is affected inc pallet which is supposed to be CMYK. White now = beige . When I first opened X5 it came up with some issue about the monitor profile. Weird thing is I will open it 10 mins later and it will behave normal - all back to looking like X4.

Oct 22, 2011I am creating an object that has four text boxes in an object that is about 2" x 4". When I do the merge, I end up with multiple pages, all 2" x 4". How can I now move those pages spaced about a larger page, say 11" x 17" so I can have positioned and print multiple 2" x 4" objects on the larger sheet?

Jan 16, 2013I am a relatively new user of Corel Draw. When using the variable data print feature, the images seen in the print preview look correct, but when the page is printed the same data is output in all 4 images. This does not happen every time. I suspect there is something going wrong with the print merge data buffer. I have not been able to reproduce the error. I have created a detailed script to for others to follow when running this job.

Nov 29, 2012I recently acquired the 5DMkIII and after I import the RAW images into LR 4.3RC, LR will, apparently randomly, divide an image into rectangles and color it with psychodelic colors. Out of about 700 images from my last shoot, it has only happened to 3 or 4, so far. But it can happen immediately upon import or on a subsequent viewing/developing of the images. It seems to happen at the time I click on the thumbnail to view or edit the image.I have inserted a sample. This is an image of a hawk on a post (the bird is in the center of the image). Theoretically, I can reimport the image from the CF card and hope it doesn't happen again (assuming I haven't reformated the card). Is this an issue with the camera or LR? It began happening on the Mark III images. I've used 7D, 40D, and XT before this with no problem.

Jul 12, 2012LR4 seems to have a bug when importing images from a camera where it randomly does not display a thumbnail of the image before invoking the import process. Usually it is whole blocks of images following a few that are properly shown. Perhaps it is dropping the communication link to the camera early?
Furthermore, once the images are imported, different images are not displayed in the thumbnail panel with filters off.
I have been doing identical import procedures on all previous versions of LR without any similar behavior.

CorelDRAW X5 :: Randomly Adding Vectors?
Dec 5, 2011I recently upgraded from CorelDRAW 11 to X5 and have started having issues. I print primarily text and vector images on a UNIVERSAL engraving laser.
Since I upgraded there have been several times that vector images will add random vectors stretching halfway across the piece I'm engraving, completely ruining it. The vectors are completely random in their placement and occurance. I've printed to the engraver 3 times in a row with identical settings and had it do the additional random vector 2 different ways then the third time print out completely fine.
Photoshop :: Images Randomly Take Chunk Out Of All Layers And Background Turn Black?
May 28, 2013I've only just started having a problem with Photoshop. I'm running it on Mac OSX
My images will randomly take a chunk out of all layers, and the background will turn black where it was originally white. In one case all the layers on my canvas were distorted by a checker pattern of bright colours. All the images I am currently working on are in RGB mode which were hand drawn black and white images that were scanned.
I'm not sure what is going on but closing the image without saving and the closing photoshop and even restarting my computer doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Jan 5, 2013I've set the cell height's of a table to some reasonable height after creating the table.Whenever I try to enter some text in any of the cells, either the table resizes to the original height or the currently selected cell (or whatever CorelDRAW believes might be the "selected" one) becomes so huge it spans a couple of rows, making it impossible to click on any of the cells below that currently active cell.

Mar 30, 2012If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simply put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified across the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and across the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works erectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly?

Jul 30, 2012I have been using CS5 Illustrator for over a year now and have had no problems until yesterday when I opened illustrator and was unable to place any images.
I can click on 'place' and go find the file, it appears to go through the right process then there is no image on the artboard at all, anywhere. Then I decided to open up previously made files that contain placed images and all they have is a bounding box with no image. The Links panel recognises the name of the file but no image is visable, even as a thumbnail.

Aug 15, 2012I am creating virtual samples of several hundred coffee mugs using PS CS 5.5. (I have access to CS6 but haven't installed it.) There will be two views of each mug, front and back. The images to be wrapped around the mug are PDFs of identical rectangular dimensions. In general, the effect I seek happens automatically using the 3D cylinder or soda can shapes.
1. Is it possible to buy and install other shapes? Can I buy a white coffee mug?
2. I was also thinking about doing this using the wrap tool and "placing" the image on a mug, then changing the opacity to multiply. Doing it this way makes the effect look more "real." But I don't know how to automate it or if it can be. So far, I'm thinking this would all be hand work.

The imprint project has a base layer template and several company logos that need to go into their own layer. Is there a way to bring all the logos in at once and have them create their own layer without manually creating each layer and placing images one by one? As a workaround, I posted the images I wanted him to look at on SmugMug and we had a disaster. Their sequencing on screen does not match my "as shot" sorting on my Lightroom (4). Is there a way I can print sequential serial numbers/ids on my images before I upload them to SmugMug so we are always talking about the same image?

But I have read though a couple of books, and cannot find a way through PhotoShop to place different photographs on one page. I am able to do it employing Quark xPress 4.0 and picture boxes, but that seems like a clunky solution, especially for web publishing.
