I would like to make a promotional leaflet with 20 or so images on and my contact details and then save as PDF using Photoshop. How do I get a white page background so I can drag images .

He told me that Adobe just released a "free promotional" copy of CS3 for download and he was going to link me to it... My cousin has been known to um "aquire" software in more ways than one. View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to this forum, and not even an intermediate PhotoShop user (ver. 5.5 Windows XP).
But I have read though a couple of books, and cannot find a way through PhotoShop to place different photographs on one page. I am able to do it employing Quark xPress 4.0 and picture boxes, but that seems like a clunky solution, especially for web publishing.
I am making a flyer for my customer, in Page Maker. They are a florist, and I have edited the images from FTD etc to their standards.
I have run into a problem though. I have traditionally put FTD's logo directly on the images while I am editing them. A request was made, that all logo's would be the same size. In order to do this, I need to have the logo as a separate image with an opaque back ground in Page Maker.
I have been unable to paste in any images (.tif) with opaque back grounds. This is probably due to the fact that our printer has us use CMYK. Yet, photoshop can handle CMYK with opaque back grounds just fine, why cant Page Maker?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am creating some .jpg buttons in photoshop. At first, I could create a button and then do an <img src="location"> and the image would show up. But for some reason, now when I create a button and save it as a jpeg, and then do the <img src="location"> the image won't display. And I am positive it is looking in the right place for the image.
What I have to do is save the button as a .jpg and then copy that .jpg image and paste it over an old .jpg button that I have previously made that would show up. I would save it as the new button name then. After doing that then I can see the new button created.
I don't know if it is the way I am creating or saving the .jpg's that is doing this, or if I accidentially changed a setting in Photoshop.
I could seperate multiple images - like an old photo album page - with my old Photoshop. I can't find that on my new CS6.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just finished putting very many weeks work into Photoshopping a scanned image and now I want to print it with multiple duplicate unaltered images per A4 sheet.
The image is 15cm x 7.3cm, so theoretically I should be able to print 4 of these on an A4 page no problem. However, the solution to how to do this simply and without altering the original image at all complete alludes me. I have tried using google to find a solution and have tried the File -> Automate -> Picture Package option, but besides being overly complicated this also seems to alter the dimensions of your original image. I have also heard about a "long way" of doing things, which involves creating a new A4 sized image and duplicating your image manually 4 times on this page sized image - however I am also quite stumped as to how I should do this without losing any detail of the original image.
I am trying to get several different images to print on one page. I have an Imac and Photoshop Elements 9. No matter what I do I can only get the same image mulitiple times on a page. I have tried picture package and just print, neither works. IPhoto makes this very simple but I'd prefer to use Photoshop where I edit most of my photos. print different images on one page and different sizes if possible.

I searched: "when you hit the print button-the wizard will come up- there is a "printing preferences" button- when you go there you can set the "pages" per sheet to 16- this will give you 16 copies of the picture on each sheet". The options I have available are 1, 2, 4, 9, 16 but I'd like 6 & 15 or possibley some other configuration. The second suggestion was to paste multiple images onto the page, is there a way to do that so the images line up in a regular grid such as might be done with cells in a word processing program?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI want to put 6 rotating images (slide show) on the homepage of a website using corel website creator.I have tried the following:
1. Building the slide show exactly as website creator's help topics;
2. Using a jquery plugin like this one: URL....
3. Using URl.... and copying original DHTML & Javascripts.
With all the above the slideshow does not show in browser preview or in website creator's build in preview.
All of a sudden, when I select and copy an old ad to a new page to update it, it copies without images and as plain text, all of the font selections are gone.

When using the variable data print feature, the images seen in the print preview look correct, but when the page is printed the same data is output in all 4 images. This does not happen every time. I suspect there is something going wrong with the print merge data buffer. I have not been able to reproduce the error. I have created a detailed script to for others to follow when running this job.

Is there a way to remove the *Model* page setup entry from the list of Page Setups in the Page Setup Manager? This is the first time I am seeing *Model* in the list, and I suspect that it the reason I am not able to generate a PDF for this particular drawing. When I try, I get the following error:

I have this idea that removing *Model* from the list will do it. In addition to causing PDF creation failure, I believe it is also responsible for forcing the Model to always be in the Publish list, even though I have unchecked the "Include model when adding sheets" option. I can remove it from that list manually, but it comes back every time.
I quite often need a separate ruler scale on each page of a multi-page document. The only way I know how to do this is to create a separate document for each drawing that requires a new scale.
I request that you add the ability to change the ruler scale on a per page basis within a single multi-page document.

If I use a label type approach some rows have less data making the layout uneven (unsuitable for the project)

Several times a week I need to take a PDF (single-page doc), then convertto a page-sized PNG with quality good enough to read the text (and atransparent border), and then convert to a SWF. I have a PNG-to-SWFutility, but when I used it on the PNG saved after I opened my PDF andexported from GIMP, the end result was not good enough. A co-worker saidGIMP couldn't make a PNG (w/transparency) with enough quality. He said we'dhave to use some other software. Part of the issue was not being able toresize without losing quality before the PNG export. True or false?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter moving a page in my document the master page elements no longer display on screen or in print. If I move the page to a different location in the document the master displays but if it is in the specific position that it needs to be it will not display. The document has multiple Masters and others do work on the page but the one that I need will not. I've tried deleting the page and adding a new one and that does not fix the problem. I've checked and "Hide Master Items" is not checked. The page in question is in position 48 with F-Master applied. If I move it to position 49 it works, 50, it works, 51, or any other it works. If I apply a different master to the page, it works. If I delete the page, add a new page and apply F-Master it still does not work. The only page that this problem is happening on is page 48.
View 1 Replies View RelatedTrying to set up a datamerge file to create multi page spread documents with fields on different pages. Attempting to set it up so it's as automated as possible as there are up to 20 different merge documents needing to merge with up to 100 different csv records from the same file each week . The merge documents have different and repeated merge fields on most pages.
I've set it up so that the document has facing pages, and most pages have images spread across the whole of the spread. the pages preview fine, they are created ok when using 'Create Merged Document' although the page numbers continue from one document to another (another problem). but when I come to export to pdf, then the merge only shows the image on the left spread but on both left and right spread single pages, and the page numbers don't show the correct page numbers eg it will go p1 p2 p1 p2 etc all the way through the document instead of p1 p2 p3 - p20 etc. I don't want to have to merge first then pdf but can't understand why the images and page numbers are not showing correctly.
If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simply put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified across the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and across the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works erectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly?
I am guessing this will be a no but is there a way to change page setup for more than 1 page at a time? I have multiple pages in a drawing that I want to change to all the same page setup.
