I'm editing MTS files and its H264 video type with a frame rate of 29.970/sec, I'm getting a error that I'm sure you have heard about before, but I can't seem to find the solution. I receive an error stating,'' 914 frame is unreadable'', so if I divided 914 by 29.970 ,shouldn't that give me the second that I have to check for a frame error?

clips that I have used successfully with VS11+, and film that I have taken with my camera which I have been using for years.It is not HD and I intended to burn a standard DVD.However, at 99% of rendering a message showed saying "Frame 329 is unreadable".I pressed ok.Nothing is showing in the folder that it was hopefully being saved to .Lwr field 1st-DVD PAL-7000 video data rate-384 audio data rate-save as mpeg files -----all properties I have used before with no problem.My only change is now to use 16.9 aspect ratio.
Had to reinstall VS 4 on new laptop...getting "content unreadable" for .MOV files.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI need to do some editing on captures made using Bandicam before uploading to YouTube, but Corel VideoStudio just refuses to open the video files, telling the format is not recognized. Only Windows Media Player can play them. Since I purchased this computer. With my Pentium D computer running Windows 7, I was able to capture videos with FRAPS and edit them with Corel VideoStudio. Now with that Core i7, even with a NVIDIA graphic card, FRAPS crashes all the times and BandiCam, which I tried as a replacement after the failure of many others (EzVid, Total Screen Recorder, Dxtory), produces unusable video files.
There is absolutely no good way to convert these videos. All Windows applications for this are just pain, offering a multitude of useless and nonsense options and just taking years to process a single video. There are some Linux conversion tools I had success with in the past, but the command line is so complex that it takes hours to figure out. It is easy to blame BandiCam and stop there. I did this error myself before thinking that VideoStudio should be able to open videos in MPEG format. VideoStudio was my only choice, because the other candidate, Premiere Elements, is unusable, with too small fonts impossible to enlarge.
BandiCam is the only way I found to record videos with audio. Other tools are just unusable (Total Screen Recorder even impossible to start), impose music I don't want (EzVid) or make the game freeze temporarily and audio stuter (Dxtory). FRAPS, which was working great under Windows 7, is unstable with Windows 8, making the screen flicker and finally freezing the game all the times. I am to the point of considering the purchase of HDMI input card and recording the screen output with another computer!
Any success with editing Bandicam videos using VideoStudio? Maybe this is yet another Windows 8 issue so I now need a second computer running Windows 7, or REINSTALL everyting again with Windows 7.

I have previously created a project using avi files and successfully burnt a dvd. Now when I reload the project all the AVI clips on the timeline are "unreadable" (black and white horizontal bands) yet they have not been moved from their original folder and all clips are visible on under "video" on the "edit" page. I have even tried relinking but to no avail. All the clips still play perfectly on Media player.

A part of these pictures are readable but a large parts isn't.
I tried to read them with several programs (Photoshop, Paint shop pro, IrfanVieuw,...) but this doesn't change a thing.
All these pictures were taken on the same day with the same memory card.
I have Adobe Creative Suite 2. when I open the Help Center from the Help area it shows up but the dont is some unreadable font.

Using VS4. The largest frame size for MPG4 output is 720zx576. I cannot specify custom frame size as the area is not available (dimmed out). what gives? I want to try and move from WMV at 12870x720 but the frame size for MPG4 is not customizable.

I think you have to do this as a video, so my idea is to use it as a soundtrack for a video that has just one constant frame as the image.
I can add a single frame to the timeline and add the sound obviously but how do I make that one frame be the single image of the whole video (which is about four minutes long)?
My input video is from .mov files from a Canon SX-30 IS with these properties:
Video:
Attributes: 24-bit, 1280 x 720
Frame Rate: 29.970 frames/sec
Sound:
Compression: 16-bit, Little Endian
Attributes: 48 KHz, 16-bit, Stereo
I wish to record to DVD disc at same or similar quality but 720 x 480 is the best I can seem to get from VS x 4 Pro "Ultimate".
In: Settings > Preferences > Performance > Video Save Options > Frame Size - "User Defined" is not available and the highest resolution in "Standard" is 720 x 480. Where is the information I need?
With the release of VS X4, I have a question concerning frame rates;
Does corel (X4) now support import/export of 60fps (2D) video, various formats?
As this would be a fundamental requirement of purchase for me.
Is it all possible to show video in a picture frame, then over lapping with a person standing in front?
If so would there be a guide to able to do such a thing?
I am using Corel videostudio pro x4 I have lot of frames in my video. I need to make each frame to pause before the anther frame starts. When i adjust the speed of frames audio is affecting.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI would like my DVD output to fill more of my (be larger) TV screen. I am copying VHS tapes to DVD using Sony DvDirect. The DVD files are then imported into Video Studio Pro 4, edited, and then output to DVD. The input and output is 4:3 and frame size is 720 x 480. I can't set this to a larger frame size using any of the tools I've found. Is it the frame size I want to increase?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have edited an mp4 video whose original frame size is 512x384. When I go to Share this edited mp4 video, I select the Create Video File option and then I select "Same as First Video Clip." I then get the following error message:
"The frame size (512x384) of the video file does not match the settings and therefore cannot be trimmed."
Why am I getting this error? How can the edited video not match its own frame size?
I'm using the HQ 4:3 template in VS11+ but noticed it's defaulting to frame based. My clips are mpeg's BFF. Shouldn't this template be switched to bottom field first?

2.I am using a Sanyo Video Camcorder PD2, which I am recording in 1280 x 720 29.97 frames per second.
3.I’ve imported the video, into the program, and I am simply trying to “join” the video by using step three that is “Share.”
4.I am clicking option “create video file” and then the option “same as first video clip” because I would like to preserve the same video settings. There are other ways I could join the clips, but these ways do not preserve the video settings. So when I choose “same as first video clip I get my error message “The frame size of the video (1280 x 720) does not match the settings and therefore cannot be trimmed.’
Why I cannot render a frame-based video when selecting (Share/Custom/MPEG Transport-stream)? My goal is to create an AVCHD video and burn it to a DVD (4.7G). My video is 16min long and the calculated bitrate is around CBR 15,000 kbps. If I use the (Share/ADVCHD/1920) option, I don't have any control over the settings. I have already deinterlaced my video using Neoscene. That is why I want to create a frame-based video.
Below is my workflow.
Two video sources:
.mov(1080p) from ContourHD 1080p camea
.mts(1080i) from Canon Vixia HF S100
1. Trim .mts files in CSV PX3
2. Trim .mov files in Contour S/W
3. Convert trimmed clips to .avi with Cineform Neoscene
4. Edit in CSV PX3
5. Planned to render in AVCHD, 1920x1080p, 29.97 fps, 15000 kbps
Why is it that you can't activate the user defined frame size when trying to define a custom movie template or edit an existing one on the fly during a file save operation?

Two quick questions:
How do I capture a screen, or frame and how do I get to the help files?
When you are burning HD footage (video type H.264, Upper Field First) to a DVD, do I keep the project input and output on UPPER FIELD FIRST? Or am I supposed to change both to FRAME BASED?
This is what I know:
SD is Lower Field First
HD is Upper Field First
"Still Photos" is Frame based
I had a videographer tell me today that to burn HD to a DVD i'm supposed to use FRAME BASED. And HD to a BLUE RAY disc is UPPER FIELD FIRST. I thought Frame Based was only for Slideshows.

I am using VS ProX5. While capturing the video captures normally for a few seconds and then stucks and moves slowly with one or two frames per second and the audio is very choppy.
Other video clips in my PC plays OK in VS.
I am capturing from my Panasonic digital camera through firewire cable/port to my Windows XP PC.
It used to work properly and for the past few months it is giving problem and I left it from there.
I get this strange thing when editing clips in VS x3 - each clip has 3 frames the same at the beginning. It's a real pain, as it mean I have to cut each clip at the start. I always assumed it was something to do with the footage from my Canon HG20 camcorder. It's a HDD camcorder, and though I don't shoot in HD (I shoot in SP - 7 sbps), I never used to get the problem when editing mini DV clips. I recently downloaded the Pinnacle Studio 15 trial, however, and noticed that it didn't happen in that editor. I prefer VS X3, and also like the trial of VSX4, though the problem persists in that version, as well.

i'm using the trial version for corel videopro x3 -. when i try to trim the clip, the output is not as good as the original clip. Why would this be ?
i selected the "same as project settings" option when creating the file. is there some other option i should choose ?
or is this because i'm using a trial version ?
i used to edit my clips in windows movie maker and it irrespective of whatever editing i would do, the clip quality would be exactly the same as that of the source clip.
A friend gave me an SD card of her wedding to tidy up and put onto a DVD. The format is MPG-4. The clips play fine but as soon as I put it all onto onto the time-line I get the odd jump on panning of the camera, which are not there on the clips. I know this can relate to the project settings and I have played around with these, adjusting the bit rate up and down.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought the best way to construct my video would be to 'cut' out all the sections of video I wanted to use, and save them in the library. When I had them all, I could then bring them down to the timeline where each needed to go. The videos I am working from are 512x288, and when I try to use the 'save trimmed video' function, it comes back saying my frame size is not per the settings.
I haven't seen a way to make the project accept a different frame size, that option is grayed out under preferences. Is there a way for me to cut out the sections I want and save them individually?
