I am using Corel videostudio pro x4 I have lot of frames in my video. I need to make each frame to pause before the anther frame starts. When i adjust the speed of frames audio is affecting.
View 2 RepliesI get this strange thing when editing clips in VS x3 - each clip has 3 frames the same at the beginning. It's a real pain, as it mean I have to cut each clip at the start. I always assumed it was something to do with the footage from my Canon HG20 camcorder. It's a HDD camcorder, and though I don't shoot in HD (I shoot in SP - 7 sbps), I never used to get the problem when editing mini DV clips. I recently downloaded the Pinnacle Studio 15 trial, however, and noticed that it didn't happen in that editor. I prefer VS X3, and also like the trial of VSX4, though the problem persists in that version, as well.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just started to play with painting creator and would love to use it but I have two issues. Firstly, I always want to use the pencil with brush size 8. It appears that every time I launch painting creator, everything is reset and I have to select the pencil and change the size. Second, my biggest issue is that when I draw something, I would like it to stay on the screen for a few seconds once the drawing has finished. It seems to disappear immediately the drawing finishes.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI will be importing a bunch of video clips without audio in X4 and also importing MP3 files. For a majority of the clips I will be recording a Narration Audio and the goal is to synch the audio with what is happening in the videos and as such I need functioanlity where I can pause/freeze the video while narraating. I have been unable to find this feature in X4.
I am also open to importing the video clips and audio clips into X4 and then making them synch somehow, but I may still need to pause the video at some stage to make the audio synch.
I just tried creating my first video using VideoStudio X6 ultimate. I have multiple video clips, a jpg, an audio and a couple of music tracks. I've created it without problems and it plays great in the program during preview. My problem was when I tried to burn it to a DVD+RW disc. When I play the disc in my player, each time a video clip ends, there is a split second pause before the next clip starts. It also appears this way during the preview in the DVD creating utility. I submitted a ticket to Corel Support, and they told me to install the SP1. But I had trouble installing that service pack, but looking at my version, I see that I have 16.1.0.45. So maybe I already had installed it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add a title at the end of the movie which I'd like to appear as movie credits and I want the final 3 lines to stay on the screen (not exit).
My text starts moving and when it reaches a certain point, pauses for a few seconds and then it continues to move and then disappears. I want to change the pause point of the text but I can't figure out how to do it and also I want the paused text to stay on the screen until the end of the movie.
Regarding VSX5 Titles/Menus
In the finalized DVD the menu page appears only for a maximum of 30 seconds before continuing to play the movie. Is it possible to introduce a 'Pause until play is selected' option?
That is to say no automatic playing of the movie until the user decides.
Is there any way that one can make a frame around a photo with photoshop?

clips that I have used successfully with VS11+, and film that I have taken with my camera which I have been using for years.It is not HD and I intended to burn a standard DVD.However, at 99% of rendering a message showed saying "Frame 329 is unreadable".I pressed ok.Nothing is showing in the folder that it was hopefully being saved to .Lwr field 1st-DVD PAL-7000 video data rate-384 audio data rate-save as mpeg files -----all properties I have used before with no problem.My only change is now to use 16.9 aspect ratio.

I receive an error stating,'' 914 frame is unreadable'', so if I divided 914 by 29.970 ,shouldn't that give me the second that I have to check for a frame error?

Using VS4. The largest frame size for MPG4 output is 720zx576. I cannot specify custom frame size as the area is not available (dimmed out). what gives? I want to try and move from WMV at 12870x720 but the frame size for MPG4 is not customizable.

I think you have to do this as a video, so my idea is to use it as a soundtrack for a video that has just one constant frame as the image.
I can add a single frame to the timeline and add the sound obviously but how do I make that one frame be the single image of the whole video (which is about four minutes long)?
My input video is from .mov files from a Canon SX-30 IS with these properties:
Video:
Attributes: 24-bit, 1280 x 720
Frame Rate: 29.970 frames/sec
Sound:
Compression: 16-bit, Little Endian
Attributes: 48 KHz, 16-bit, Stereo
I wish to record to DVD disc at same or similar quality but 720 x 480 is the best I can seem to get from VS x 4 Pro "Ultimate".
In: Settings > Preferences > Performance > Video Save Options > Frame Size - "User Defined" is not available and the highest resolution in "Standard" is 720 x 480. Where is the information I need?
With the release of VS X4, I have a question concerning frame rates;
Does corel (X4) now support import/export of 60fps (2D) video, various formats?
As this would be a fundamental requirement of purchase for me.
Is it all possible to show video in a picture frame, then over lapping with a person standing in front?

I would like my DVD output to fill more of my (be larger) TV screen. I am copying VHS tapes to DVD using Sony DvDirect. The DVD files are then imported into Video Studio Pro 4, edited, and then output to DVD. The input and output is 4:3 and frame size is 720 x 480. I can't set this to a larger frame size using any of the tools I've found. Is it the frame size I want to increase?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have edited an mp4 video whose original frame size is 512x384. When I go to Share this edited mp4 video, I select the Create Video File option and then I select "Same as First Video Clip." I then get the following error message:
"The frame size (512x384) of the video file does not match the settings and therefore cannot be trimmed."
Why am I getting this error? How can the edited video not match its own frame size?
I made a DVD video in the default (I live in Canada) NTSC format using VSP X4. However I would like to make the same Video DVD in PAL format, to send to relatives in Europe. In "Share" mode, when I click on "Settings and Options" then "Disk Template Manager" I can see templates for NTSC and choosing PAL I see templates for PAL. Next when I go to "Projects Settings" the setting is in NTSC and clicking "Change MPEG Settings" only the NTSC templates show up. When I choose "Custom Settings" I can not change to PAL as the drop down menu for choosing is inactive.

2.I am using a Sanyo Video Camcorder PD2, which I am recording in 1280 x 720 29.97 frames per second.
3.I’ve imported the video, into the program, and I am simply trying to “join” the video by using step three that is “Share.”
4.I am clicking option “create video file” and then the option “same as first video clip” because I would like to preserve the same video settings. There are other ways I could join the clips, but these ways do not preserve the video settings. So when I choose “same as first video clip I get my error message “The frame size of the video (1280 x 720) does not match the settings and therefore cannot be trimmed.’
Why I cannot render a frame-based video when selecting (Share/Custom/MPEG Transport-stream)? My goal is to create an AVCHD video and burn it to a DVD (4.7G). My video is 16min long and the calculated bitrate is around CBR 15,000 kbps. If I use the (Share/ADVCHD/1920) option, I don't have any control over the settings. I have already deinterlaced my video using Neoscene. That is why I want to create a frame-based video.
Below is my workflow.
Two video sources:
.mov(1080p) from ContourHD 1080p camea
.mts(1080i) from Canon Vixia HF S100
1. Trim .mts files in CSV PX3
2. Trim .mov files in Contour S/W
3. Convert trimmed clips to .avi with Cineform Neoscene
4. Edit in CSV PX3
5. Planned to render in AVCHD, 1920x1080p, 29.97 fps, 15000 kbps
Why is it that you can't activate the user defined frame size when trying to define a custom movie template or edit an existing one on the fly during a file save operation?
