Photoshop :: Editing Photo Face - Left Side Is Lighter Than Right Side?
Sep 2, 2012Im having a problem editing a photo 'face' one side 'left' side is lighter than the right side because of lighting. I was wondering If I could get both sides even prefably the lighter side like the normal side.
Is this possible? Because everytime I try edit the lighter side it still remains lighter.
Lightroom :: Side Panels Too Large?
Mar 8, 2014My side panels (Navigator on the Left, Histogram on the right) have gotten larger since I restarted my laptop. It's really interfereing with my ability to edit because there's so little screen space left. I've tried everything I can think of, and they're still too big on either side.

Feb 10, 2012When I place my mouse over the the left edge of the right side panel I get <---> which is good then I try to drag to make the panel wider and it does not work. I can shrink the panel but not expand it.
In any module this is how it works. I also tried using the alt key (PC) to drag it wider but no go. You should be able to use just the <--> to expand.
I know in other versions of LR I could make the panel very wide but no longer, it only goes wide to a certain point that won't go any further cutting off the last few remaing characters on the far right side of the panel.

Jun 5, 2012In the previous versions of Photoshop I've used (CS3, CS5), when I opened multiple panels (e.g. History, Info, etc) they would all stay open for reference. However with CS6 I've noticed that if I have, say, the History panel open, and also open, say, Info, then the History panel closes.
How can I change this behavior such that each panel I open will stay open and visible until I direct it otherwise? It's frustrating to have to keep using Window->History (or whatever) each time I need to see one or the other.
Lightroom :: RAW Exports To JPG Lighter Than They Appear In Library
Jan 8, 2013I'm new to the photography world and having a bit of trouble when using Lightroom.I have a new Olympus PEN EPL-5 and Lightroom 4.3 running on Windows7.
When I import RAW (.ORF) files they are dark in general, but when export them as JPG they are brighter, similar to what native JPG from the camera looks like. Then if I "correct" the ORF file in Quick Develop or Develop it becomes too light/bright/over-exposed.
Here on the left is the RAW file import with Develop Settings = "none" and to the right is an export to JPG color space "sRGB".Now if I adjust the RAW (.ORF) file in LR I can get it close to the JPG on the right above, but then when I export it, it becomes way too bright
why the RAW Library image is so far off from the exported JPG image?Obviously this "issue" makes using Lightroom very difficult as I can't tell how changes in LR will really turn out once exported.

Jun 24, 2012is there a way to make it so everything that appears on the artboard is hidden/invisible, and have it so my vector shapes/images only appear inside rectangle/panels?
As of now, if I am to create a comic using the pen tool, and some parts of the vector are outside the rectangles (panels) I made, I would either have to use the knife tool to cut off the vectors outside, or hide the vectors outside the panels with white rectangles (since my artboard is white).

Jun 24, 2013I placed text on a shape and outlined it. As soon as I create a compound path, the result appears lighter than the originally outlined text (on screen and printed), although the paths seem to be identical when I overlay them. Same happens when I divide the paths.

The probem is that in 2006 I had drop down buttons to save toolbar space. I want to be able to add the drop down button feature to my new panel. I do not see how to create that type of button, so I can add the regular buttons to it and have one drop down button with those commands in it.

I also want to export DXF files of text to engrave the panels. The router software from Step-Four says it needs the text exploded into objects (lines, curves etc) before importing the DXF file. How do I explode the text in AutoCAD for the DXF files?
