View 1 Replies View RelatedThe selected image appears on the main/center panel but not in the preview screen. Printing results in a white sheet of paper with no image at all. The image has been updated to LR 4 - but made no difference.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use the Mesh Tool, but it appears to be inactive. The cursor looks like a cross with a small crossed circle nets to it (like a "do not pass" road sign). I do not know what I did wrong. In Preferences I have "Object selection by path only" deselected, so it can't be it.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhenever I export a mesh as an obj, the object appears flipped facing other directions on certain applications while on other's it appears fine. I use Maya 2011 (of course) Zbrush and 3d Coat. I have the problem in 3d coat and tried it in Blender and the problem occurred on both while on zbrush it appears fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEverything is calibrated. That is not an issue.
When I work the photo (JPG, TIFF or PSD) to where it is what I want, the preview is darker in the print preview. Probably one f/stop in photo terms. And, THIS is how it actually prints.
What is causing that? And, is there a fix?
None of the "show paper color," etc. are checked, so that is not causing the difference.
I took a picture when it was raining and I got a couple of drops in my lens. the corresponding images have a clear somewhat colored ovals from the drops and i was wondering which approach could be the best and fastest.
View 7 Replies View Relatedhow I would make the background in my image completely disappear. I already have the background on my image transparent, but with a flashy orange background this so-called transparent background displays a grayish color. I want the background of my image to be completely eliminated and let the flashy orange flow thru it. I am missing a step here somewhere I know it. I am using Photoshop CS and when browsing online I saw mention of "alpha 1". Perhaps this will eliminate the background from my image completely, but I am unsure. The image is a GIF and PNG, so it is possible.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm installing Lightroom 5 in a classroom of Macs with OS X 10.9. When another user logs on a to computer and starts Lightroom, Lightroom welcome screen pops up again and asks for country, and in next screen displays the serial number Lightroom was activated with. After pressing OK the user can proceed to use Lightroom. How to avoid the welcome screen from appearing to all users? Obviously we can't have the serial number leaking out to public like this. Luckily this came up while testing the installation.
The registration file seems to be in a correct location (/Library/Application support/Adobe/Lightroom/Lightroom 5.0 Registration)
The circle that appears on the screen when using the erase and paint tool disappears. It only resets when I reboot my PC.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just bought Lightroom 4 (student version) and fully registered it. After importing photos to the library, nothing appears in the filmstrip on the bottom of the screen. Do I need to turn something on to make them appear? It is making navigation much more difficult while developing (I can only view one image at a time while developing).
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't want to appear dense but Lightroom 5 appears to be stuck in full screen (Windows 7 64 bit). The FILE, EDIT, ... drop down menus only appear after carefully hovering near the top of the screen and the minimize, full screen, and close buttons never appear. I don't want to close LR to check email, browse, or kill time while it is rendering previews.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe “window selection” selects only what appears on the screen! I wanted to select a page number located on the lower left corner of each title block of each drawing but found out that the “window selection” doesn’t keep selecting what doesn’t appear on the screen (if zoom in is applied)! For example, if I select a number of drawings and “zoom in” is applied then the window selection will only keep selecting what appears only on the screen!
Then how to let the “window selection” keep selecting all the objects regarding whether they appear on the screen or not?

I am designing a calendar. When designing the background is a solid black, but when I export or save as PNG it appears on the screen as dark grey. I'm self taught and don't know if it will print out grey or black.

View 4 Replies View Relatedeliminate the fragments from a grayscale image. I used a JPG. You never get just black and white because of the edge transition. So, the image was made bitmap transparent, and contone recolored light and dark to red. You don't get edge blending this way. Xara alphe channel traces to black, therefore the image needs to be something other than black. I made a bitmap copy/alpha for tracing. You need a copy othewise the trace image would be gray scale. Xara seeems to take what is in memory. I think you can see the alpha channel traces black. Xara appears to trace from the bottom up, and the bottom of the image will trace to the background object.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I use Save As after making some basic adjustments to an image (usually just resizing), the resulting image looks different from the original. The image on the right shows exactly what it looks like in Ps before being saved out, and on the left is the exported JPG. You can see that the left image looks "faded out"--like it's lost contrast and brightness. In general, I'm opening either JPG or TIFF files and saving them to JPG.
View 4 Replies View RelatedBeen running PS CS5 successfully for a couple of years, then all of a sudden I can't work at magnifications other than 25% and Actual Pixels. The image disappears and I only see the checkerboard. There was a Windows update I ran on April 10 that included an update to the graphics card, which I thought might have been the culprit, so I uninstalled it. That didn't fix the problem, so I updated it again. I couldn't see anything else in those updates that should affect Photoshop.
Here is what I've tried so far:
I updated my graphics driver (NVidia GeForce),
Trashed Adobe Photoshop CS5 Prefs.psp (which crashed PS completely when I reopened it...luckily I kept the old prefs file on my desktop and dragged it back in),
Made sure Photoshop was up-to-date.
Photoshop CS5 (v.12.0.4 32 bit)
Windows 7 Home Premium (v.6.1 Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
AMD Phenom II X4 840 Processor 3.20 GHz
I have vista 64 bit installed, 4gb ram and a geforce 8400 gs.
photoshop opens ok, but when I open a image, only appears a gray window. and when i move the image box, the image appears, but when I stop moving it, it desapears again.. I know I can edit the image, because I can add a brush into it, and when I move the box the image is brushed.. And when I enter the filter gallery the image appears normaly..
my cs5 has just started ofter using for 6 months to have a mesh over each image. when I go to view extras is ticked which I untick but when opening next image its there again. can I get rid ot this altogether or stop this happening.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I select photos to merge, either via Bridge or within CS5 (Automate/Merge to HDR Pro), the Merged image appears over the CS5 screen. However, the bottom of the HDR screen with the photos selected for the merge along with the Cancel & Save buttons are cut off. The only way for me to exit HDR is to force quit.
My monitor resolution is 1440X900 which is better than the 1024x768 required for CS5.
