Jun 26, 2013I've installed PS CC and have an AMD Radeon HD 7970M card in my laptop. PS detects the card in Preferences and I'm able to choose it for acceleration (i.e. OpenCL, etc.).
When I try and go Filter -> Liquify on any image, the Liquify dialog pops up, but i don't see the image. All I see is a black in the dialog.
When I turn off acceleration, and go to Liquify, it works.

Jul 5, 2013I am creating a peice of artwork in illustrator. I have cut out the icecream image in photoshop and placed it in illustrator as a psd file. It looks fine in illustrator, looks like it should do. The problem occurs when I export to pdf, a black border around the ice cream image appears. However when I print the black border does not display. So the issue with the black border only appears on the pdf. Check out the attachment beow for example of what I mean.

Aug 17, 2013I can't seem to click and drag an image with the mouse when using Full Screen Preview under the Edit Tab.
I see the hand icon and the scroll bars when the whole image can't fit on the screen but when I left click it's like I hit the Esc button.
Clicking the scrollbars will work but isn't as convenient. Under the Manage tab it works correctly. I have reset the workspace with no luck.
I use this feature a lot and would like to know if others have this problem.
The problem existed in X5 SP2 and now X5 SP3.
Photoshop :: Liquify Screen Too Big?
Aug 15, 2012I'm trying to use the Liquify filter and the Liquify screen is too big. I can't reach the "Show Backdrop" option at the bottom. What do I do? I'm trying to work through a tutorial that requires that.
On a related note, how to make one thing in the shape of another? Say I want to make a mouse in the shape of a Tyranosaurus. How would I do that? That's similar to what I'm trying to do here.

The weird thing is i can click and edit the area of the grey screen and if i click OK to finish the liquifying it has edited the image! Why can i not see my image whilst in the liquify screen? Jun 14, 2012I am using the CS6 trial in order to decide if I want to switch over from CS4. When I try to use liquify, I get a teal screen with a few light spots that are vaguely in the shape of the image. If I select a tool it does not show up over the image, only around the edges. I've heard that CS6 liquify requires significantly better graphics than previous versions. Is my computer simply incapable of handling the new version? I realize that my computer is not ideal for image editing, and I try as much as I can to work in the maclab at school, but both of these computers were able to handle CS4.
Computer1: AMD athlon II x4640 processor 3.0ghz, 8gb ram, ATI Radeon HD4200
Computer 2: intelcore i7-2620m processor, 6gb ram, intel hd graphics 3000

EDIT: When i drag the window im working in around the colors appears as normal but as soon as i let the window go, the cyan turns black again.

Sadly any large document I tried to open appears black and sometimes when I zoom in partly displays with random black lines through it. I have checked my system's specs and they all match up with the requirements. I am running Vista SP1 on a Dell computer.
