Jul 21, 2013Everytime i select with any of the marquee tools in photoshop cc the canvas goes black. If I move the cursor it occasionally flashes on and off but it is impossible to select areas within an image. Deslecting or selecting another tool stops it.

May 3, 2013Whenever I attempt to marquee select (click-hold and drag a box) in Viewport 2.0, the viewport becomes a blank white screen and instead of drawing a box my mouse draws a single thick line. When I release the mouse, the viewport will not return to normal until I move the camera. It actually does perform the selection that I would expect. However, not being able to see what I'm doing is a bit of a pain sometimes.
The irony is that it actually works fine in default and high quality modes, but I'm not able to use those because the transparency sorting is really wonky and doesn't let me see what I'm trying to work on from the angles that I need. Only Viewport 2.0 solves that problem.

Sep 12, 2012I've been runing LT 2013 for the past couple of months, everything was working fine until recently. Occasionally a viewport will go completely black. I can doule-click into model space and select objects, though I can't really see them. If I delete the viewport and make a new one, the new one works fine (at least for now).

I sometimes get a message on load saying that Photoshop cannot find my 3D settings (although my Graphics card has 3D capability), but as I'm not using Photoshop's 3D editing tools, this is no issue to me at present.
Photoshop :: Merge To HDR Pro Turns Image Black?
Dec 1, 2012When I try to merge to HDR pro, the entire photo becomes black. It is still the same photo because when I increase the exposition I can almost make out the original photo. I tried to work on the exposition of the three photos, but that didn't work. I tried everything that I read on the Adobe Forum, but nothing is working. Up until about a month ago, it was working perfectly. I have photoshop cs6 with the latest upgrades and a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 with 3.4 GHz and 32 GB ram.

Whenever I try dragging the select tool (with or without Shift) it grabs the pixel image and moves it. I had this problem once before (months ago). I know it has something to do with the Resource Consumption settings (i.e. Edit -> Preferences -> Environment - > Resource Consumption).
I got it figured out before but I reloaded Gimp on my computer so the settings went back to default. It has something to do with increasing the cache size or the total new image size or something. I can't remember.

Pressing Enter/Return should commit the selection but it doesn't why? I have not changed any short-cut preferences in PS CS6.
When I use the Marquee or Lasso tool and make a selection and I'm happy with the selection, I press the Enter (PC)/Return(Mac) and the the "marching ants" should disappear..this has always worked until today? Now, when I press the Enter key, the Feather box (next to the Anti-alias) on the upper left corner goes from grey to white and wants me to change the value?
