I have my current install set to save the dwg down to 2010. how come the preview images are blank? its only when i save down do the images become blank. if i save in the current version the preview image is there.

When i click the save icon, type save, type save as, type qs i get the attached pop up. It says it wants to delete one of the .bmp images.

I already have the background on my image transparent, but with a flashy orange background this so-called transparent background displays a grayish color. I want the background of my image to be completely eliminated and let the flashy orange flow thru it. I am missing a step here somewhere I know it. I am using Photoshop CS and when browsing online I saw mention of "alpha 1". Perhaps this will eliminate the background from my image completely, but I am unsure. The image is a GIF and PNG, so it is possible.
View 3 Replies View Relatedeliminate the fragments from a grayscale image. I used a JPG. You never get just black and white because of the edge transition. So, the image was made bitmap transparent, and contone recolored light and dark to red. You don't get edge blending this way. Xara alphe channel traces to black, therefore the image needs to be something other than black. I made a bitmap copy/alpha for tracing. You need a copy othewise the trace image would be gray scale. Xara seeems to take what is in memory. I think you can see the alpha channel traces black. Xara appears to trace from the bottom up, and the bottom of the image will trace to the background object.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded a user to Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium 2013 but AutoCad 2013 and AutoCad MEP 2013 are not saving settings.
On first use the crosshair is large and angled, not standard. If I run "Rest values to default" then the settings are standard until I either restart AutoCAD or open a drawing then have the same strange cross hair.
Have tried creating a new profile, setting it as default startup profile by altering the shortcut but no matter what settings are not saved and revert to strange cross hair once AutoCAD is re-opened or a drawing is opening.If logon to computer as a user without a roaming profile all works fine.
I was trying to write a code to save an ai document as eps, when the need to turn the Format option to None arose. Here is a screenshot to better describe my question.
I looked in the class AINativeAction.h but wasn't able to find a suitable key to match to turn this option off programmatically.
I am relatively new to Photoshop Elements. I followed the instructions to add a watermark to multiple photos. I am unhappy with the results and want to remove the watermark. Despite not saving my watermarked photos, I see the watermark. Is there a way to preview the watermark before anything gets permanent? Is there a way to remove the watermarks on all the photos and start all over?

While loading any dwg file in autocad 2013, the preview is wrongly showing after select some shortcut file in same dwg folder. and its not back to the dwg preview. its only happen in window 7 machines only.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy office is launching 2013 and the one issue that is really bothering me is the selection preview variable keeps getting reset <0> and I cannot figure out what is causing it?
I like to have the selection variable set to <3> and my selection cycling set <-2> so I can hold down shift and tap space bar to visually cycle through overlapping objects but this is very difficult to do when the selection preview variable resets to none <0>.
I think the new box popup in this release is very bothersome and would like to figure this glitch out.
I could not see the preview in the icons of the autocad documents. How can I restore?

One of my students managed to make previews of the objects dissapear while drawing and editing.
Ex: Making a circle, only the radius line shows up, no preview of the circle itself.
I have a layout with a border that is alligned very well in the layout view (see attachement 1) but the whole thing somehow moves to the left when I preview the plot (attachement 2). I thought the dashed lines were supposed to indicate my printer's plot area. Is there a way to fix this anomanly? I have tried to play with page setup options, application options, but nothing works.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I click on File>Open The dialog box no longer has a thumnail preview. Only a small grey box hovering on the right that says "Initial View" with a check box. I have attached a snapshot of my Autocad File> open dialog box so you can see what I'm getting on my end.
If I browse for files in windows explorer and change view option to thumbnail I can see the thumbnails just fine.
I've tried everything but I cannot get back my File> Open thumbnail preview.
In Tools> Options I have the thumbnail preview settings all set to save thumbnail preview image. Nothing has changed that I know if for the thumbnail preview to go away.
It's really slowing me down not being able to have thumbnail preview in the file> open dialog box.
