I just bought Lightroom 4 (student version) and fully registered it. After importing photos to the library, nothing appears in the filmstrip on the bottom of the screen. Do I need to turn something on to make them appear? It is making navigation much more difficult while developing (I can only view one image at a time while developing).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm installing Lightroom 5 in a classroom of Macs with OS X 10.9. When another user logs on a to computer and starts Lightroom, Lightroom welcome screen pops up again and asks for country, and in next screen displays the serial number Lightroom was activated with. After pressing OK the user can proceed to use Lightroom. How to avoid the welcome screen from appearing to all users? Obviously we can't have the serial number leaking out to public like this. Luckily this came up while testing the installation.
The registration file seems to be in a correct location (/Library/Application support/Adobe/Lightroom/Lightroom 5.0 Registration)
I don't want to appear dense but Lightroom 5 appears to be stuck in full screen (Windows 7 64 bit). The FILE, EDIT, ... drop down menus only appear after carefully hovering near the top of the screen and the minimize, full screen, and close buttons never appear. I don't want to close LR to check email, browse, or kill time while it is rendering previews.

I new to VS X5 Pro. I have a very basic question, I'm sure.... Is it possible to not have the computer file name of the video appear at the bottom of the video for the first few seconds? It does fade away but is not acceptable to be there at all. Is this a Windows 7 config issue or something in VS?
When I select photos to merge, either via Bridge or within CS5 (Automate/Merge to HDR Pro), the Merged image appears over the CS5 screen. However, the bottom of the HDR screen with the photos selected for the merge along with the Cancel & Save buttons are cut off. The only way for me to exit HDR is to force quit.
My monitor resolution is 1440X900 which is better than the 1024x768 required for CS5.

I deinstalled photoshop 5.0 by mistake, and have problems with re-installation. I restarted pc, deactivated kaspersky antivirus and put in CD, but nothing happens except the audible spinning of the CD. No installation dialogue appears on the screen..

I can uncheck Application Frame in Window to free up the project, but with it checked I cannot find a way to reach the bottom of the frame and the scale input control. Also cannot reach the lower layers in the layer menu.
Is there a way to animate the title so it moves from the bottom of the screen to the top (similar to the opening credits of Star Wars)?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAt the bottom of the Organizer screens it always says "972 items dated etc". But then depending on something I do, possibly with tags, it sometimes shows "36 items not shown" for a total of 1008. Note the View does not show any hidden files. One thing I noticed is when I put just one photo in an album and click on the album it will say "1 item found 1007 items not found for a total of 1008.
What concerns me most is that I have 36 photos floating around somewhere that I can't see.
Lost the action bar on bottom of the screen totally and the information that used to oocupy a column on the left. This situation makes it impossible to switch to the Editor.
When I start from the Editor screen all is normal. I already re-installed the program without resolving the problem.

View 6 Replies View RelatedDownloaded LR4 this morning, backed up and upgraded the catalog. None of my photos appear in the Develop Module when I switch to that module from the Folders, though they appear when I switch from a Smart Collection, but not a standard Collection. It shows "No Photo Seclected". Regardless of where I switch from, no photos appear in the filmstrip in the Library or Develop module, though the location menu just above the filmstrip shows the correct number of photos in that particular folder. I'm on a late model iMac, OS 10.7.3, with 12 GB RAM.

When I work the photo (JPG, TIFF or PSD) to where it is what I want, the preview is darker in the print preview. Probably one f/stop in photo terms. And, THIS is how it actually prints.
What is causing that? And, is there a fix?
None of the "show paper color," etc. are checked, so that is not causing the difference.
