AutoCad 2D :: How To Get Icons To Show On Toolbars
Jan 16, 2014Just started new job, with PC running ACAD2010. My toolbars appear blank, with no icons. How do I get the icons to show?

Paint Shop Pro :: Floating Toolbars Have Icons Across In Horizontal Straight Line
Dec 4, 2011My floating toolbars have the icons across in a horizontal straight line, but every time I open PSPX4 they are stacked 2 rows or more. I have to readjust them every time. It remembers where I had them placed but doesn't remember they are horizontal and opens them with the icons vertical.This is with SP1 installed. I don't know if it did that before SP1. Don't have this problem with X3.

May 26, 2013I created a couple of icons with Greenfish Icon Editor, which works reliably for me, to assign to macros. They were saved as 16 x 16 32-bit icons. But when I try to assign them, they appear larger and I can't fit them into the space allotted for an icon; in other words, they get clipped.

Sep 24, 2012I finally cleared enough space on my creaky old PC to install 2013 and once again am having trouble with that CUI.
The ribbon is useless to me, partly because it contains nothing relevent (most of the commands I use are legacy) and partly because this creaky PC can't handle it. My usual workspace is set to toolbars (some custom) and menus.
I exported my workspace from 2012 including all the menus and toolbars.
I imported that cuix file into 2013. Everything is there listed as it should be, but when I select the workspace and click apply I have neither toolbars nor menus showing (well I have a tiny toolbar with just new, open and save on it, and another that appears to be related to survey, but none of the ones I want or need.)
What do I have to do to get my menus and toolbars back? they haven't abolished them completely? This PC cannot handle the ribbon and my every request for an upgrade is denied due to politics.

Jan 2, 2013I am growing increasinly frustrated. I just installed AutoCAD LT 2013 on my laptop. I managed to get everything customized the way I want, except the button icons on my (classic) toolbar are much too small. If I go into the menu and select 'use large icons', they are too huge. My screen resolution DOES NOT need to be changed or adjusted. I went to the help menu to see what I can do, and found that I can go into CUI and adjust the size of the button icons that way, via the button image editor, however there is no 'button image editor' dialog box when I select any given toolbar command.

Are they associated with the CUI automatically. Guy at work is running MEP and everyone else is running plan old cad. They are not showing up on his. Is there a way I can fix this?

Jan 2, 2013I recently upgraded from cs5 to cs6, I have downloaded upgrades for photoshop, bridge, camera raw, and adobe dng converter.
My problem is that the raw dng, and raf raw files from my fuji x-e1 camera are showing up in bridge as icons only, and not as thumbnails. How do I get the files to show as thumbnails. if I double click they will open in camera raw and i can see the pic there.

Nov 9, 2013I recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.

Sep 30, 2011I am wanting to save all of my menus, toolbars, templates etc. so I can put them on my new computer. I am using autocad LT 2010. I have looked everywhere for the files on my C drive and can't find them anywhere. On other versions I could copy them to a flash drive and then onto another computer. I tried going through the user interface but I couldn't get anything to save. It did make a .cui file but I didn't know where to copy that to on the new computer.

May 30, 2012When I try to menuload a .cuix on a machine that has UAC set to high, The menu group comes in, but the toolbars associated with it do not. I know this sounds like AutoCAD support but it is .net related as the .cuix is loaded through .net. The pull down appears OK.
If I manually set UAC to it's lowest setting then they come in, is there a reason for this?[URL]

Apr 10, 2012I have a dual monitor setup and I maximize acad2011 on monitor 2 and have my toolbars on monitor 1.
I like to have my toolbars floating, but justified to the side with the 'gap' between the montiors so the tool bars fly out and I can see my email or reference docs or whatever on monitor 1 also. Sadly every time I close and re-open acad my toolbars re-justify to the center of monitor 1. I've tried unlocking and locking but that doesn't work. I am using the 'better', errr, excuse me, 'classic' workspace.

Dec 13, 2011I have the Layer Property Manager and Properties toolbars docked on the left edge of my screen, with the Ribbon vertically between them and the drawing display. I sometimes 'overshoot' when going for a command from the ribbon and the toolbars pop-up immediately so that I then have to move the cursor back into the drawing space and wait for the toolbar to collapse before I can pick the command (more carefully). Is there a way of setting a delay on the tool bars appearing?
