The icons don't come up at the top and bottom of the page in Organizer and I can't scroll to the bottom of the pagein Elements 11. It's like the entire page doesn't fit on the computer screen.

I recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using PSE 11 for about 6 months with no problems, however, yesterday the prog froze and I had to switch off and re-boot. Now all new uploads are displayed in the organiser as egg timer icons. These will open, but only one at a time when double clicked on. I am on Windows 7. I have uninstalled PSE 11 and re-installed but the problem persists. I have uploaded a very small jpeg and got the same resuilts, which seems to rule out a RAW problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe videos are there, but I just get the hourglass picture. If I doubleclick them, they'll play just fine. But I have no way of quickly scanning thumbnails to pick a movie.
While we're on the subject of thumbnails, I can only see thumbnails for my pictures if I make them larger. If I try to make the thumbnails smaller, they just won't ever show up. I have about 1800 video clips (very few longer than 1 minute), and about 10,000 pictures.
In Photoshop Elements 11 for Dummies the main display area (Figure 1-2) has an area to the right with the headings Keyword Tags and Information, and down below that Image Keywords. My version of PSE 11, which I just bought, does not show this area to the right of the main display area. Also, the main display area includes a bunch of frames with names like "A_Taste_of_Sicily.mp3". Is this because my version of PSE 11 is different from the version used by the writers of the Dummies book or is there something I need to do first?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSuddenly my Photoshop Elements 8 Organiser section cannot be accessed directly from the Welcome Screen as it has always done regardless of which version I had used. I can only access the photos through the drop-down panel on the bottom left hand side of the Editor section. Not very convenient and there appears to be no chance of browsing through photos or accessing tagged photos.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe problem is that the screen is only partly visible and it is the top half that is missing, thus the tool bar is not available. The usual dragging of the corner or edge does not work, so as it is this part of the programme is not usable at all. The settings (resolution etc) seems fine. Further more the problem is new, it has not happened previously. No such problems with the edit screen.

To reset to default to get back my unedited CR2, but this is time consuming and I never had to do this in the past. How can I retain my CR2 in the Organizer after editing?

I cannot resize or get to the minimize button to fix. I am stuck only seeing the bottom of the Organizer Screen. Organizer (which I use VERY OFTEN) is renedered useless until I can get a resolution to this.

My problem: when viewing the grid in my organizer albums, I can't see the bottom rows of photos-- I can see a slim line of the top of each photo but not the entire photo.
I've used the minimizer/maximizer green button in the left top corner-- not much changes between those views. I've moved my dock to the left of my screen instead of at the bottom. I've quit and restarted the application. Still can't see those bottom rows of pictures.
Having installed Photoshop Elements 11(Windows 7) I cannot open the Organiser from the welcome screen. It can be opened via the Editor but few of the thumbnails are shown as pictures rather as empty squares. The situation does not improve with time but tends to get worse with pictures turning into squares. I have tried the tip with preferences but to no avail.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from PSE5 to PSE12. The installation went smoothly and my old Catalog was imported without a hitch. After my first test run to edit a file, I did a "Save As" in a version set with the original. I then closed the file, but when I went to the organizer, it was not there. When I go to the folder in Windows Explorer, the edited file is present - I just can't get it to appear (alone or in a version set) in the Organizer. (FYI, I am running Windows 8).
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to copy photos from one folder to another, leaving them in the original folder and have them show in the organizer in the new folder.
I find I can duplicate the photo and then drag and drop it, but each step takes literally a minute to complete (in explorer it is 1 second or less). To move a hundred photos one at a time to different folders would take quite a while.
so I tried to pull them in from the FILE button get new files and it won't because the photo exists in another folder in the catalog.
How can you have the organizer show photos in multiple folders, is it possible
I have tagged all of my video files (wmv, mp4) with keywords in Adobe Bridge. I am certain that they are written to the files. Unfortunately PE 11 Organizer doesn't seem to see those on import? Any suggestions on how to make that happen? I am looking for ways to search for video clips and import the search results into Premiere Elements. Unfortunately there is no direct way to go from Bridge to Premiere Elements either.

Im using the program for longer times without any problem.But since nearly a week the new pictures, i import to my PC will not shown as a miniature in the organizer screen. i only see a sand-glass. Older pictures are already to see and i can select a single picture to see just this one...it will be shown.
I try to reorganize my catalog...doesn't change.
Perhaps the page is too large and the tools are above my screen. I can't access them, can't "Import" any of my pictures. I've been in "Edit" and done work there.But this is the first time I've tried to use the Organizer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from cs5 to cs6, I have downloaded upgrades for photoshop, bridge, camera raw, and adobe dng converter.
My problem is that the raw dng, and raf raw files from my fuji x-e1 camera are showing up in bridge as icons only, and not as thumbnails. How do I get the files to show as thumbnails. if I double click they will open in camera raw and i can see the pic there.
