Further email attachments does not work. Brings up an email window which i've not seen before and says no email account assigned. Yahoo is my default client.

Then I click next and am taking to the next screen where am supposed to choose a stationary but instead I receive a error message: A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

When I try use the Share > Photo Mail I get an error message: "There is no email program associated to perform requsted action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

After I hit ok on the windows looking message box, I get a message in PSE: "Elements Organiser could not Finish creating your email Message. Please make sure that Microsoft Outlook is selected as the default email program in the Windows Internet Control Panel, and that all dialog boxes in Outlook are closed. If this is the first time you are using Microsoft Outlook, please run the Outlook applicaiton and complete its set-up process before sending mail through Elements Organizer. Alternatively, you can use the Adobe Email Service via the Elements Organiser Preferences Dialog.

I have Elements preferences pointing to Outlook. When I switch the sharing preference to Windows mail, I get: "Elements Organiser could not Finish creating your email Message. Alternatively, you can use the Adobe Email Service via the Elements Organiser Preferences Dialog."

I have checked the default programs, and Outlook 2013 has all associated file type and protocols pointed to it. (an dre-booted PC after resetting defaults)So either:
 - I am mising a fix relating to upgrading Win 7 64-bit with PSE10 to Win 8 64-bit or
 - PSE is looking for a particular protocol in the program defaults like MAILTO (but not this one as this is pointed to outlook) that is missing.

May 26, 2013Every time I create a Photo Email in PSE 11 the email appears in my email client with this text added to it: "Here are the files that I want to share with you". I do not what this text and I have to select it and delete it for every email I create. Is there any way to change and/or eliminate this text permanently within the PSE files?

I found the text in the following file, but eliminating it from that file did not stop it from displaying. How can I get rid of this unwanted message?Â

One frustrating flaw within the Photo E-mail service....

I've been using the Adobe e-mail service and it sends e-mail just fine having set up the account as required.Â

Each new e-mail appears with the text "Here are the files I want to share with you."
Â
Now I'd like to replace that with some different text. I can delete it and replace it on the first editing page, and it stays there after I click 'Next' to the following 'Customise Layout' section.

Clicking on 'Next' after this page, we have the final e-mail page, and the text has reverted back to 'Here are the files I want to share with you' again......

I can delete it again, but cannot type in any further text anywhere on that screen.

Shame, because the programme generally is superb. Have transformed a number of pics already, and it would be nice to use the e-mail prog that's built in as I'd like to use it, adding text as required. Otherwise, why have all the font and layout choices available if not??
Photoshop Elements :: Organizer Crashes When Used With Mac OS X 10.9.2
Mar 25, 2014I am using Photoshop Elements 12 on a new Mac using OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks. The Organizer crashes frequently while I am browsing single images and using the direction arrows to look at the next image. It will also crash when I browse the thumbnails and enlarge a single image in the organizer. There are about 26k images in my library. Some are on an auxiliary drive. I have stacked the images into about 450 stacks to try and cut down on system workload. This problem can occur with only a few hundred images in the organizer from a new download. My system has 8 GB Ram and 1 Terabyte drive which is a combination hard and Fusion drive. The crashes do not occur on every image which is enlarged, just enough to make this process very frustrating. The system restarts quickly, but I have to find the image again and it usually crashes a few more times on the same image. Last week, it took two hours to select three images for a competition and the system crashed at least a dozen times.Â

I have not lost any data. I have been sending the reports to Adobe. So far I have sent more than 60 reports with no automated suggestions. I am finding this product unstable and unsatisfactory.Â

Nov 30, 2012Photoshop Elements 9 - 11: I thought that, maybe, with the new version out that Adobe would have fixed the organizer 'disappearing act', but I guess not. Finally, when you start Photoshop Elements 11 the organizer actually appears without you having to shut the program down and start it two times. Now, with Photoshop Elements 11, try to minimize the organizer and you can't get the screen to restore either by clicking on the icon on the start bar or by right clicking the icon and then selecting restore. You, AGAIN, have to shut the program down and start it back up again.

Windows 8.0, 16gb RAM, 4GB Video RAM, plenty of HDD storage on solid state HDD, plenty of processing power.

I moved the files (no I didn't do this with the software as I didn't know that was an option . . i've moved files countless times in the past with no issue). With this move, my catalog is frozen. I can reconnect many of the files. But on random files, the catalog freezes and will not reconnect. I have to restart and try again (which generally does not work). I tried moving the photos back and starting over, but that has not solved the problem. Jan 8, 2013In Photoshop Elements 11 for Dummies the main display area (Figure 1-2) has an area to the right with the headings Keyword Tags and Information, and down below that Image Keywords. My version of PSE 11, which I just bought, does not show this area to the right of the main display area. Also, the main display area includes a bunch of frames with names like "A_Taste_of_Sicily.mp3". Is this because my version of PSE 11 is different from the version used by the writers of the Dummies book or is there something I need to do first?

I can only access the photos through the drop-down panel on the bottom left hand side of the Editor section. Not very convenient and there appears to be no chance of browsing through photos or accessing tagged photos.

The usual dragging of the corner or edge does not work, so as it is this part of the programme is not usable at all. The settings (resolution etc) seems fine. Further more the problem is new, it has not happened previously. No such problems with the edit screen.
