Not sure how this happened, but the top of my Elements 11 Organizer screen is off of the top of my desktop screen (OS Mavericks). I cannot resize or get to the minimize button to fix. I am stuck only seeing the bottom of the Organizer Screen. Organizer (which I use VERY OFTEN) is renedered useless until I can get a resolution to this.

View 4 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop Elements 12 opens with the top portion of the window not available on my Mavericks desktop. Without access to the top bar of the window I'm unable to reposition the window. Rebooting the computer and re-starting the program doesn't reset its position. The top of the window is not visible on a secondary monitor either.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using an iMac with up to date software. I import photos from my SD card. It creates a file in "my folders" but image does not appear in organizer window. I have tried restarting the computer as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the application.
The only files that appear under "Media" are the music files. There are 8 other pre-installed folders (animals, flowers, holidays,etc) but highlighting them does nothing.
I use Adobe Elements 12 Organizer on Macbook Pro. When I open Organizer, the window is too large, and the top and bottom are hidden behind the Mac menus so they are not accessible. I can´t reach the top menu, and can´t resize the window, or move it around on the screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis morning (10/25/12) after booted my system I had a notification that there was a set of updates to my Photoshop CS6 product set. I went ahead a did the updates which installed successfully. A few minutes later I started up Photoshop Elements 10. The start-up of PSE 10 appeared normal at first, but there was a lot of hard disk activity and the Organizer window would not respond when I tried to move the sliders. I started up Task Manager and could see that PSE 10 was continuing to use processor time. I killed PSE 10 and restarted it. I decided to let it run and so far it's been doing something for over 30 minutes. From time to time the window will flash and occasionally I get an hourglass icon to display over the window. I'm not able to move the window or shrink it. I guess I'll just let it run to see if it will ever become operational. My catalog has entries for about 40,000 images so I'm wondering if the Adobe update affected something in the catalog, although the update did not seem to include anything for PSE. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit edition with all the latest Microsoft updates.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIn Photoshop Elements 11 for Dummies the main display area (Figure 1-2) has an area to the right with the headings Keyword Tags and Information, and down below that Image Keywords. My version of PSE 11, which I just bought, does not show this area to the right of the main display area. Also, the main display area includes a bunch of frames with names like "A_Taste_of_Sicily.mp3". Is this because my version of PSE 11 is different from the version used by the writers of the Dummies book or is there something I need to do first?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSuddenly my Photoshop Elements 8 Organiser section cannot be accessed directly from the Welcome Screen as it has always done regardless of which version I had used. I can only access the photos through the drop-down panel on the bottom left hand side of the Editor section. Not very convenient and there appears to be no chance of browsing through photos or accessing tagged photos.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe problem is that the screen is only partly visible and it is the top half that is missing, thus the tool bar is not available. The usual dragging of the corner or edge does not work, so as it is this part of the programme is not usable at all. The settings (resolution etc) seems fine. Further more the problem is new, it has not happened previously. No such problems with the edit screen.

My problem: when viewing the grid in my organizer albums, I can't see the bottom rows of photos-- I can see a slim line of the top of each photo but not the entire photo.
I've used the minimizer/maximizer green button in the left top corner-- not much changes between those views. I've moved my dock to the left of my screen instead of at the bottom. I've quit and restarted the application. Still can't see those bottom rows of pictures.
Having installed Photoshop Elements 11(Windows 7) I cannot open the Organiser from the welcome screen. It can be opened via the Editor but few of the thumbnails are shown as pictures rather as empty squares. The situation does not improve with time but tends to get worse with pictures turning into squares. I have tried the tip with preferences but to no avail.

On occasion I'll get the error *** -[_NSArrayM objectAtIndex:]: index 39 beyond bounds [0 .. 38]
Other times the error will say Could not complete your request because of a program error.
Other time there is no message.
The computer I'm running is MacBook Pro with Retina display, 3 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
I just loaded CS3 Photo Shop and Illustrator onto my new 15" Retna MacBook Pro running Mavericks. The programs begin to start up but get hung up at the splash screen.
There's nothing I can do except Force Quit the application. All of the top menu items are grayed out rendering the programs useless.
I've attached a screen shot of what it looks like when Photo Shop loads. How do I resolve this? I've let the applications just sit for over 20 minutes but nothing happens. They're just stuck.
How do I transfer the entire organizer of Elements 9 to the empty organizer in Elements 12? By the way, Elements 9 is so defective, it will not even let me back up my organizer in 9. The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using PE9. Every time I go to the Organizer (even after switching to another program briefly) the Update box appears, searching Watched Folders for new pics. It always finds them, frequently the same, imports them and then tells me they're already in the Organizer. During this process, which may last 5-15 minutes, I can't use the program.
