Photoshop :: DVD Slide Show With PS CS3?
Aug 31, 2008I have PS CS3 Extended on Windows XP with 2 G RAM.
I want to make a DVD slide show for my sister's funeral. I have all the images scanned into PS, but cannot find a way to convert to a slide show and transfer to a DVD.

I was wondering if there is some way to send someone the index.html file over email & have them be able to see the slideshow by using the Automate>Web Photo Gallery option. If not is there another way to create a slideshow in Photoshop so it can be emailed & viewable without posting to a webpage? Or would I have better luck with just using a .pdf?

Dec 23, 2010I have a series of photos I want to make into a quick slide show. I simply want to have them show in chronological order with some music and nice transitions, maybe in a frame template. I know I can do this in V3 fairly easily and I have done a good bit of video editing with VideoStudio, but I am wondering if there is a wizard that would make something like this faster and get me most of the way there.
There was Movie Wizard in past versions that I never used because I never had anything this simple to do. Is there a recommendation for how to get 90% there in VS3?

Feb 24, 2012I am making a slide show with Video Studio and would like to create a menu on the dvd with 4 chapters for the main slide show and one special feature type slide show that would be part of the same project that can be selected to play seperate from the main slide, but on the same menu. Apr 16, 2013When I open lighting effects in CS6, there are none of the resizing/repositioning icons [controls, widgets, whatever you want to call them] that I see in all the tutorials (and remember from previous versions of Photoshop). The Lighting Effects Properties window opens on the right, but no amount of fiddling produces any change in the image. Even if I choose a preset, my image is still just a useless darkened version of its former self (and still no icons appear).

BTW, I am running Windows 7 on a quad core laptop with a supported video card (Radeon HD 6520G), so this problem should have nothing to do with that.

Apr 1, 2013I'm trying to follow along with a video at Lynda.com on AI CS6.However, in the video, Deke McClelland is showing the TEXT "Align" on the top Control Panel.On my screen, it's not a text, but a small icon. When I click it, I don't get the same options he does.

Jan 2, 2013I recently upgraded from cs5 to cs6, I have downloaded upgrades for photoshop, bridge, camera raw, and adobe dng converter.

My problem is that the raw dng, and raf raw files from my fuji x-e1 camera are showing up in bridge as icons only, and not as thumbnails. How do I get the files to show as thumbnails. if I double click they will open in camera raw and i can see the pic there.

Nov 9, 2013I recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.Â

Nov 8, 2012Using AutoCAD 2013 and TOL command to generate feature control frames. Â We set our lineweights based on layer assignments.
Problem is that when printing, AutoCAD seems to randomly assign a lineweight to the feature control frames. Â It can vary from what it's supposed to be (such as lineweight set for the dimension layer) or thicker than even what the object lines are set at. Â Seems to pick a random linewieght at time of printing for these elements (just the boxes, not the symbols/text itself).
Is there a setting we should be defining somewhere to force it to follow the lineweight of the layer that it has been assigned to? Â Known bug?
