Aug 31, 2008I have PS CS3 Extended on Windows XP with 2 G RAM.
I want to make a DVD slide show for my sister's funeral. I have all the images scanned into PS, but cannot find a way to convert to a slide show and transfer to a DVD.

Dec 23, 2010I have a series of photos I want to make into a quick slide show. I simply want to have them show in chronological order with some music and nice transitions, maybe in a frame template. I know I can do this in V3 fairly easily and I have done a good bit of video editing with VideoStudio, but I am wondering if there is a wizard that would make something like this faster and get me most of the way there.
There was Movie Wizard in past versions that I never used because I never had anything this simple to do. Is there a recommendation for how to get 90% there in VS3?

Apr 14, 2009In Photoshop 7, running XP. I was wondering if there is some way to send someone the index.html file over email & have them be able to see the slideshow by using the Automate>Web Photo Gallery option. If not is there another way to create a slideshow in Photoshop so it can be emailed & viewable without posting to a webpage? Or would I have better luck with just using a .pdf?

Feb 24, 2012I am making a slide show with Video Studio and would like to create a menu on the dvd with 4 chapters for the main slide show and one special feature type slide show that would be part of the same project that can be selected to play seperate from the main slide, but on the same menu. But I've wanted to figure this out for a while and had some down time today. So this is for you to play with if you want. I was looking at my Undocumented Commands file and that reminded me of it since this done with un(or little)documented commands.
If you open the drawing. Select one of the magenta circles (nodes) in the center of the text to activate grips. Select a triangular grip and use it to slide the text along the polyline.

May 3, 2012If i open a new .psd file of any size and i have guide lock on, I get lock lines as i move and object twards the center of the canvas.

So how do you get ps to place guides (H&W) at the center of any doc.

The guides do not lock to a center when i pull them from the ruler. I can not figure out a way to make the ruler show zero at a center point and go =/- out from a zero center point like a number line either.

Â I have found Bullzip PDF which expoerts out a great copy that a customer is able to look at without having to zoom in on the pdf. Â But the issue with this program is you can put them in one file but it is very tedious. Â Is there a way to make the AutoCAD pdf export any clearer without having to zoom in on the PDF to read for example dimensions.

I have two PDFs slightly overlapped, and for some reason all of the areas that are transparent in the PDF print with grey outlines in a PDF, but not when sent to a hard copy printer.

I'm not a graphic artist, but I do have a task I would like to accomplish, so a couple of quick questions?
It's been over 10 years since I experimented with graphics software of any kind other than resize and/or convert from one format to another.
Scenario to illustrate my question:
I create a new graphic, of X by Y proportions. Create a black circle in the center of the graphic. Save graphic.
When I import the graphic into a document, web page, email composition window, etc., I would like only the black circle to display when the background is a color other than white. IOW, I want the unused/blank part of the graphic to be transparent.
I've found the online manual to be confusing to follow, since I can't easily "thumb" through the pages to see a picture of the effect I want to accomplish, and I'm not sure of the correct terminology.
I found a PDF manual for 2.4, are there instructions that cover this? I'm not really interested in printing it, or having it printed. If the manual were for 2.6, I would consider having it printed.

Jun 21, 2012I am in the middle of a huge project and all of a sudden have a major concern.
When I am using layers and the background is a photo of the colour blue (rectangular shape).Now as a new layer, I am pasting another photo (a smaller rectangular shape) on top,with say a car in the middle.
Then saving this 'montage' as one jpeg.Now, when printing this image, would the blue colour that is physically under the smaller car photo shine through underneath? Or would it only print and use what is physically shown, despite me knowing that underneath there is another darker colour?
(As the end result should just show the smaller rectangular photo with the car and that one being surrounded by a blue border.)
