AutoCAD Inventor :: Show Thread Features In Drawing View By Default
May 1, 2006When you have a part with a thread feature, the default setting should show the thread feature in the drawing view...rather than making the user right click the view and select "Display Thread Feature". I don't understand why this doesn't show up in the drawing automatically...it is, after all, a feature on the part.

Nov 24, 2012I just bought Adobe Elements Photshop and Premier 11. I spent 2 to 3 hours getting my picture video library into Adobe's organizer. I had some problems with duplicate picture (that I wanted to be there - so I had to rename them) and a couple pictures with corrupted metadata. After I got all that sorted out I am a bit miffed about the folder view on Adob'es organizer.
I love that you can switch to folder view - since this is how I have been organizing my pictures for a long time. I would like to continue organizing this way for now until I get a grasp on the other ways I can organize them in elements. However, every time I close and re-open organizer it switches back to the default view instead of folder view. there is a way to set folder view to the default view!

Mar 10, 2014Currently you have to check a box, and then build a module for H.264 export.
We all get it that you want people to use Media Encoder. But I never use it. It forces me to render a separate file, then re-render that file. I don't need the extra lossless files floating around my machine, and H.264 mp4's looks great coming straight out of after effects.
Since upgrading I've had set up 4 people output workflow. They all went back to making huge MOV files.

Aug 3, 2012I follow a tutorial about making a pattern and she tells me to paste. I need to have the right channel marked. I do have the black dot in the right channel, and the channel is marked. I have a mask selected. I click paste, nothing happens.
It's a brick and I'm planning to have 3 channels for it. Light, dark and something in between recolorable. I even saved a selection and then loaded it onto the correct channel. I tried to delete the extra mask channels hoping it was still saved. Then all knowledge of any maskes seems to be gone. As you can see on this picture I have all the channels there with masks, but it's still not being saved. I load this into another program and channels is nothing but 3 different colors all over. There is no selection. When I'm trying to save this as dds It says I have 3 alpha channels, they are suppose to be red, green and blue! [URL] ........

Jan 3, 2012Whenever I create a new layer in the Layer Manager, and I set the color, the color reverts back to whatever it defaulted to when I created the new layer - usually the color of that layer that is current, since everything is just duplicated.
To fix it I have to go back into Layer Manager and set the color a second time.

Mar 17, 2013I have been having this problem for a while now that whenever I extrude or create something thats not totally smooth the edges by default are hardened. For example if I create a 12 faced cylinder it will hard edge everything including the verticle edges. Back when I first started using Maya i dont remember having to select specific edges to soften which can get very tedious and take up time.
I feel like there should be some sort of way to harden horizontal edges and soften verticle edges but I cant find the solution anywhere. Is there any way to change the default soften/harden edges?

Apr 26, 2013I am prepping a character for cut-out animation, in Photoshop CS6. I am at a stage when i need to clean up layer edges (all the artwork is bitmap and created in Photoshop with brushes) I had tried zooming and rubbing out , any noticeable debris around the artwork, but i watched a tutorial where a person set up a function key which displayed a red border around the opaque parts of the layer, which is just what i need, for efficient clean-up.
Unfortunately, it wasn't explained in the tutorial how it was done. I have searched and searched, but i don't even know what the action is called in Photoshop that does that.
