AutoCAD LT :: Change Multiple Splines From Show Control Vertices To Show Fit Points
Oct 24, 2013What I want to do is change multiple splines from "Show Control Vertices" to "Show Fit Points"
The problem is I have over 500 to do, and I cannot select each one individually and do it. It would do my head in.
Is there any way to change multiple splines all at once?
Paint.NET :: Highlight Control In Screenshot
Jul 3, 2011I have taken a screenshot of a dialog in Windows and I want to manipulate it so that one of the controls on the dialog is highlighted. One effect that I have seen other screenshots take is to darken most of the screenshot, leaving the control to which the viewer's attention should be drawn in its original color. The image at [URL] .... is close to the effect I want to achieve -- darken some areas of the screenshot and leave other areas in their original color, thereby bringing attention to the undarkened areas.
How might I acheive this effect in Paint.NET? I am new to the app, so feel free to point me to tutorials if I need to learn about layers or some other aspects of the app.
Photoshop :: Quick Mask Won't Show Green Highlight CS5?
Jan 23, 2012This is driving me mad, new to CS5 but have used various other programs with mask feature, I can select a quick mask with the colour set to white and black, on the black it will highlight in Red no problem but on the white it won't hight light in green, it does remove any red but won't hightlight in green for an area I want to keep.
I was trying to make the whites of the eye whiter by creating a quick mask and highligting the whites in green (so with the white colour selected) and then adjusting the levels for the selected area but it just won't work.

May 30, 2012how to match up certain points. I have imported 2 point clouds and have tried to use the 'align' tool to specify three points from the source object (cloud) and three points from the destination object (cloud). When doing this, it does not properly align them. The point cloud makes it difficult to select the exact point I would like to align, since there may not be a point at that exact location, but close to it. Does AutoCAD require the points in alignment to match up perfectly or is it capable of doing a best fit?
Also, is AutoCAD capable of creating a solid 3D piece from the point cloud? I would like to take all of my points and make a smooth object.

Feb 2, 2012We have been processing/adjusting our field control observations in an outside program (Star-net) and then importing the control into our C3D Database through an import event (PNEZD File). Once the control has been imported we import our field data (.fbk file) through an import event as well. The problem that we are having is once you process a .fbk that uses one of those control points it "locks" the control point, so the next day when we get another field download and the control is re-adjusted, we can't update the control points in the C3D Database.
The only way we have found to get our newly adjust control into the C3D Database is too delete all of the "import events" that use the control point and then import our new control. This is a HUGE hassle.
Revit :: Find / Highlight Object In Linked Model
May 22, 2013I have linked a food service RVT model that has 1000+ pieces of specialty equipment. I've copy/pasted the tags from their file to mine. Now I want to be able to type in a tag number and have revit 'zoom to it'. Or I'd like to be able to make a schedule and use 'Highlight' option - but nothing seems to work because the elements are in a linked file.

Mar 1, 2012I have a user in my group that is hesitant to upgrade to 2012 because , he has many lisp routines that are associated with the PREVIOUS selection feature. This selection is very useful in that when you are moving or selecting many objects you can enter P for previous and the object will be selected.
In 2009, when you select objects then hit escape, then try to execute a command requesting to use the Previous, AutoCAD will remember the last selected object and then highlight it.
In 2012, when you select objects then hit escape, then try to execute a command using P for previous, it will not highlight the previous object selected but will highlight the previous object where a command was executed on.
Hope I haven't lost you. It seems there should be a setting under SELECTION of how to manipulate the Previous selection feature.

Jun 28, 2012How to set up a dynamic block so I can control the size of an object through parametric dimensions that are linked (somehow) to a lookup table, spreadsheet, list, etc.?
What I'm trying to do (simplified) is place a block of a rectangle, select a size from a dropdown list, and have the block change to be that size - but I don't want to do this through visibility states as there are hundreds of sizes. The whole point is to be able to construct a list, lookup table, excel sheet, etc and link it to parametric dimensions in the block, or at least be able to link a stretch action to parametric dimensions. But the block editor will not allow me to associate a stretch action with a parametric dimension (at least I haven't figured out how to do this.)

In model space we have few blocks (filled circles with center point). I'm iterating through the objects, and storing center points into some array (just example).
Now I would like to check if at each point I have specify object (like line, polyline, etc), so in other way - if my object is intersecting with line/polyline.
Method IntersectWith determine points between two objects, but I know (and if yes to get) if there is line/polyline at this point.
Is there any smart way to do this? Instead of iterating each block through each line/polyline?

For example in Shape Tool creating a horizontal line (click and somewhere beside CTRL - click), at me it creates control points at the end of the lines plus two ones on the line.
That is super anyway because immediately can be seen where is the 33% of the line length, but could be set somehow this that how many control point should be as default?
