In the model space there is the "ZoomCube" and there was a "Zoom" object there as well. Somehow I turned it off. I can't find a way to turn it back on. Can't seem to find the documentation for the same.
View 1 RepliesSo, I am running Photoshop CS at my house, and trying to do some side work. But what bothers me is the poor zoom control I'm getting in CS. The Alt-scroll wheel works great in CS2 or CS3, where it focuses in on the mouse arrow. But in CS, all it does is zoom into the top left corner of the doc.. Can anyone tell me why?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI loaded 2013 Civil 3D and I customized my Ribbon with Zoom Commands I use frequently; everything looked fine...I changed the Workspace to Planning & Analysis and cutomized my Ribbon to include the Zoom Commands but a Button Icon for ZOOM_TO_POINT came up with a cloud & question mark. I went to look for the Icon Image & I don't see it. I made the mistake of changing the Icon to another hoping I could change it back but it's not there. I went to the 2012 verison & the Button Icon is there...first icon listed. Where are the icons in 2012 so I can drag & drop image into 2013?
The icon has a point symbol with a magnifying glass. I've checked other computers and the same thing. Can't find the Image Icon for ZOOM_TO_POINT. It shows up when you load the software but if you want to edit it...it's not there in the CUI Button Icons.
I'm using autocad 2013 & the classic workspace instead of ribbon. For some strange reason, if 2 or more drawings are open & I minimize a drawing, it removes the minimize, maximize, close buttons from the right top side of the screen like in the attached picture. To get them back I have to go to the window pulldown & select the drawing from there. I'm using windows 7 pro with a nvidia quadro 1000m card.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow to set up a dynamic block so I can control the size of an object through parametric dimensions that are linked (somehow) to a lookup table, spreadsheet, list, etc.?
What I'm trying to do (simplified) is place a block of a rectangle, select a size from a dropdown list, and have the block change to be that size - but I don't want to do this through visibility states as there are hundreds of sizes. The whole point is to be able to construct a list, lookup table, excel sheet, etc and link it to parametric dimensions in the block, or at least be able to link a stretch action to parametric dimensions. But the block editor will not allow me to associate a stretch action with a parametric dimension (at least I haven't figured out how to do this.)
I seem to be missing all of the control button icons in my Actions Palette. Can anyone tell me how to restore them?

I have a ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 560v for my Dell laptop running Windows 7 64bit. I have checked both through Dell and the ATI page and I have the latest drivers but Lighting Effects don't work properly. So now what?
I tried messing with the Preferences for Performance based on other posts. No luck. When I go to View>Extras>Show All I do then see the controls, however, the program freezes then crashes every time.
do I have to go back to CS4 to do all my lighting effects?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOccassionally the object properties in my object manager will dissappear and I am unable to bring them back. I have tried toggling all the buttons on the manager, restarting corel, resetting corel to it's default settings and restarting my computer but nothing will bring back the properties. It does not happen on every single file but it happens often enough to be a pain. I have attached a picture of what the object manager looks like.

I would like to lock the size of an object regardless of the zoom percentage. When I am zooming in on a vector map (main layer) the objects (on different layers) becomes very big. So I should be able to zoom in/out on the vector map, but the objects shall keep the same size. How can I do this?

Juts had Acad LT 2009 re-installed on my new laptop, and all of my old settings, desktop preference etc have been wiped. No problem, couple of hours to set it back up.
BUT
When right-clicking on any object to bring up the properties, (line length, text height etc) the properties do not appear in the drop down box on the right, or in any 'quick properties' display
I am unable to coax the Object Scale dialog box to appear. Typing OBJECTSCALE and invoking the Add/Delete Scales command via Annotate on the ribbon do nothing. I looked in the CUI and everything appears normal with the command and macro. I have attempted to see if the box was just off screen, but when I hit Alt+Spacebar, the main Autocad menu highlights, as if the Annotative Object Scale dialog box is not even open. I have lost dialog boxes off screen before, so I don't thing that is the issue. I have done a Repair and an update to the latest service pack.
I am running Autocad 2010 LT on a Windows 7 64-bit machine with 8MB memory. I have FILEDIA = 1, CMDDIA = 1, and ATTDIA = 1.
I have not done a complete reinstall due to the pain of updating all of my settings, but I guess that is a last resort if I cannot figure out how to get the dialog box to show up.
Using AutoCAD 2013 and TOL command to generate feature control frames. We set our lineweights based on layer assignments.
Problem is that when printing, AutoCAD seems to randomly assign a lineweight to the feature control frames. It can vary from what it's supposed to be (such as lineweight set for the dimension layer) or thicker than even what the object lines are set at. Seems to pick a random linewieght at time of printing for these elements (just the boxes, not the symbols/text itself).
Is there a setting we should be defining somewhere to force it to follow the lineweight of the layer that it has been assigned to? Known bug?
How can I restore my object properties dialog box in its default state? I'm recently working on a project when my Autocad Architecture 2013 just stopped working while it was saving. When i re-opened the file, I just noticed that the object properties doesn't show the full parameters of a certain object anymore. The width,height and other parameters in adding a wall is not included in the properties dialog box. Same scenario goes for all the objects, when i click on a dimension line or any line, an incomplete dialog box appears. Solutions that i've tried but nothing worked:
1. Changed User Profle Preferences
2. Changed my .CUIX in the customization file
3. Restart Autocad
4. Reset Autocad
5. Reinstalled Autocad
6. Downloaded and Installed Autocad Architecture 2013 service packs 1&2
I'm Using Autocad Architecture 2013 64 bit and OS windows 8 64 bit.
I notice that there is no "AutoCAD Architecture & AutoCAD MEP 2011 Update 1 Object Enabler" for ACAD 2012 on Autodesk's website.
Why is that? Did I miss something?

The “intersection osnap” between a “hatched rectangle” and a “DASHDOT2” line appears and disappears depending on the amount of zoom!
As I zoom out the “intersection osnap” appears but when I zoom in, it disappears
Why the "intersection Osnap" should disappear as I zoom in?
