Apr 10, 2013I am using Autocad 2013 on a 64bit PC.
I saved and run the Civil OE 64Bit. All the items shown have been selected and installed.
I can only see squares when I open a drawings that comes from the civil engineers.
Lightroom :: 5.3 - Can't Double Click Zoom In Loupe View Anymore
Apr 5, 2014I used to be able to double click on an image in Loupe view in Library mode and I would zoom into that image. I think that stopped when I got to LR5, I'm in 5.3 now. Now when I double click in Loupe view, I'm back out to grid view. Drop down menu suggests I just need to hit return, same thing happens. This happens at all zoom levels fit, fill, 1:1, etc. I'm running OSX 10.9.2. Sounds like a setting issue, but I've looked.

Jan 8, 2013My keyboard has a zoom key with + and - selections. I use to use this key in drawings to zoom in and out when in the AutoCAD application when we had Windows XP. Now that I have Windows 7 I can't do this. I can't find out how to assign this key on the Microsoft Keyboard interactive software either. I have the other keys assigned as desired.
Can I still use my keyboard zoom key to zoom in and out in drawings? If so, how do I set this up in AutoCAD, or do I need to do this through a Microsoft keyboard application?
AutoCAD 2013 :: Drawing Order - Send To Back / Not Working Anymore In 2013
Apr 17, 2013I have this heavy issue, i can't send to back a line, an object or a hatch under other lines. In 2012 i used this feature a lot but in 2013 it's not working very much, maybe 1 time out of 10 and i absolutely can't say why.
HPDRAWORDER = 1 seems to work with a new hatch.. but i can't redraw everything.
Let's say i put an entire floor plan into block then draw over it. (I don't want to start a Xref discussion please) i can't send the entire bloc to the back.I used to do that with 2012, 2008, 2007.. but it's 2013 it's not working, is there a way to correct that?

Personally I do not like to work with Dynamic imput on, when I use object snap tracking with out DI turned on it doen't work right. Past versions worked fine. What do I do to get this back?

Jul 7, 2011ACA12 - the mouse wheel doesn't work on many of the dropdowns anymore? Is this an 'improvement' or is there a new variable I need to learn to turn it back on.
Do autodesk have only 12 fonts on their machine? Why is the text style font name drop boxes so tiny? Makes it real time consuming to select a font when you have lots of fonts as I'd imagine most machines have.

Nov 22, 2013I have an old version of the creative suite that is all right for what I do (information for a charitable organisation for medical research) installed in 2008. For quite a while now every once in a while when I start up I get a screen asking me to register. But since I already am registered Adobe just said to click on later and go on working. But this morning the screen is empty so I can't click anywhere. I've tried restarting and even turning off the computer and trying to restart my day.

Jan 14, 2007I did was put a levels adjustment, and a little patch layer abover the BG, but the BG wont accept any changes, cloning etc. i'm lost --any help appreciated.
the patch is just a small piece of the bg, so the rest of the bg should accept work.
I've tried selecting all different layers, and all eyeballs are on.

I've installed then all latest Physx software + latest cuda + Latest 3ds max Physx plugins for max 2013 ( v2.86 )
I also installed absolutely all updates for max 2013
....without success !
GIMP :: Shortcuts Don't Work Anymore?
Sep 1, 2013I added a shortcut (Alt-backtick) to invoke a script I had written. I seem to be able to run it once only, but only sometimes, and there seems to be come interaction with other shortcut functions that I can't characterise. The script starts with a dialog.

Usually the functionality of Ctrl-F gets clobbered also, and I also had an occasion where my shortcut executed the functionality of Ctr-F - i.e. I had just applied a drop shadow, and Ant-backtick repeated that function.
Exiting and restarting Gimp returns things to normal (but broken).
My script just adds an entry field to export-selection.scm so I can enter a filename for the PNG file.

Jan 11, 2012if the blurring of maps works ok on their system? It behaves very strangely on my system. For example Checker works fine, Noise just blurs with the Blur option, the Blur Offset does not do anything, Gradient and Gradient Ramp only blur the edges and create strange patterns, Smoke and Cellular do not respond at all, neither to the Blur nor the Blur Offset. The renderer or the coordinates source do not seem to change that. Am I missing something, could this be a bug in v2012? I do not recall this behaviour from earlier versions. According to communication center I have all updates installed.

Apr 4, 2013I'm having a problem with the 3D functions in my recent project. (note: only in this particular project!)
When putting the 3D tick on any layer, all the other layers in the composition just turn invisible and the background is set to black. However, the little eye which handles the visibility of a layer is still set to visible.
In addition, the X and Y Rotation has lost it's functionality. The object is not rotated but more or less compressed, which looks like a bad imitation of a 3D rotation. I'll better show you.

Feb 26, 2014If I click on an eye symbol the symbol disappears, but not the elements on the screen like you should expect. There's also a weird behavior with the lock symbols. If I lock a layer, I can click the paths anyway. The lock symbols doesn't work anymore. The whole layers palette is useless now. I tried to remove the whole "Adobe Illustrator 17 Settings" folder, but that had no positive effect.

Mar 10, 2013A couple of days ago, The exact same thing started happening with LR3.6. I was hoping updating would do the trick but the exact same thing takes place. With an adjustment brush, when clicking on the image, it, the image, disappears as soon as I click on it. Same thing with gradient filter, the image disappears when I start dragging. Switching to the Library Module, my image is still there. For my image to reappear I have to select another image and go back to my initial image. Even then, I am still "holding" my brush even though my "Tools Strip" is not open. To get rid of the brush, I have to select it AND deselect it for it to disappear.Only then I can do further editing on that particular file that does not involve brush and/or gradient filter. Everything else seems to be working properly. This never happened until 3 days ago and I did not download any new program.

Oct 23, 2013Since AutoCAD 2013, I'm not able to use tracking when inserting block from tool palette. Example, I want to insert a door at 6 inches from a wall. I click the door from the tool palette, leave a tracking point at the wall corner, move the cursor in the right direction and type 6 follow by enter. The door is insert randomly in the drawing. It was working perfectly in previous release.
Actually I had to insert the door anywhere in the drawing and moving it at the right place and rotate it if required, it is very tedious.
