I'm having some difficulty with a new issue that is occuring:I have a 3D model that I'm attempting to render. It has rendered recently with no issues. Now, this morning, I get the following error message:
Unable to create output file - Make sure destination directory is writable and that the disk is not full. Rendering aborted. The drive is only approx. 30% full. I've closed/reopened the file to no avail. Also, I've closed/restarted ACAD.It always seems that AutoCAD acts goofy whenever I have a deadline.
I'm using Architecture 2011 trial and it generates good rendering, but after adjusting sun angle (time), I received a message: Make sure the destination directory is writable and that the disk is not full. Rendering aborted.
I have upgraded to X5 (15.0.0.258) Windows 7 64-bit QuickTime Player 7.7.1 K-Lite_Codec_Pack_840_Basic.exe
I am using an input file of:
a 30 second .avi file, frame size 1440 x 1080 15 frames/sec Video compression Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder, 24 bits, total 450 frames Audio compression PCM 32.000 kHz, 16 bit Mono 960,000 samples.
I was using X3 version [URL].......
If all I do is clip the .avi to a 10 second output (eg .mpg, .mpg, .wmv) with no editing, I get a jerky movie (which appears to be one frame per second).
I have put up a 10 second clip here to show a sample of the jerkiness (which was created using x3) but it is the same jerkiness. [URL]...........

I wrote some LISP programs. I would like to use the output data generated by LISP program in Command arear of AutoCAD. I Heard we can dave the output data into .dat files.
When first making the video in Edit mode, is there any way to see the final output size before or after selecting Create Video File before the file is created.
If I choose Create Disk it will show the output size.
If not what would the maximum running time be for DVD output?
I've just completed my first project and when I attempt to create a video file for hard disk output I'm unsure what option I should select from the drop down box that gives me the highest quality without re-rendering the video.
My AVCHD 50p original files are according to the file properties in VSP -
PAL HDMV H.264 Video 24bits, 1920/1080, 16.9 50.000 frames/sec Variable bit rate (max.26000 kbps) Dolby Digital Audio 48000 Hz, 5.1 channels 384 kbps
So it looks like I need to select AVCHD 1920x1080 50p however in the properties for that file creation, the video bitrate is max 20000 kbps (my video 24.7) and audio is only 2.0 (my audio 5.1). I really would like to retain the 5.1 audio and my higher video bitrate.
Also when I view the project properties the video is shown as 1024 x 576.
PAL double (50 fps) Microsoft AVI files 24 bits, 1024 x 576, 50 fps Frame-based Uncompressed PCM, 48.000 kHz, 16 bits, 5.1 Channels
We are running Inventor 2013 and I am trying to create a simple positional representation of a small assembly. For some reason, the "New" option is grayed out in the positional representation browser.
I can't remember ever having trouble creating them in past releases.....
When I use my autoCAD at the office to create a Sheet set file I allways get the message "Unable to Create a sheet Set file". Is there a way correct this problem.I am using AutoCAD 2012 on a network. I have tryed to create sheet set files on my local C: drive and other drives without any luck.
I have tried to import a DWG-file to my drawing. But it does not work. The XREF-file just appears as dots on the screen. The DWG-file I try to import has another UCS. Is that the problem?
I can do it the opposite way, import the file with the normal World-UCS into the file the different UCS.
I have recently installed Inventor Professional 2012 Student Version, and I'm unable to create a new file, as the program crashes as I try to do so.
After starting Inventor, I select New than Standard.ipt. The file starts loading, the status of the loading process can be seen in the bottom left corner, than the "Open Documets in Session" counter in the bottom right corner changes from 0 to 1, as it should, I guess. And than, the program freezes. Sometimes, a message appears after several minutes that an error has occured, and that I should send an error report to Autodesk (which I did); but sometimes, no message appears at all, it simply crashes.
My computer specs are: Intel Core 2 @1,86 GHz, 2 GB RAM, NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX, 60 GB free space, Windows Vista (hotfix installed) Not a powerhouse, but I think it should be able to start a file properly I think, if I understand the system requirements correctly.
I am using AutoCAD 2012. I’ve come to realize that my Sheet Set command won’t work, as I cannot get any sheet sets to open. When I select a sheet and try and open it, nothing happens at all.
Also, I did get an error message when trying to create a new sheet set, “Unable to create sheet set file: *filename*”
I want to know how to make my own hatch from design till puting it in (*.pat) file. for info, I know how can I download such file and upload it in AutoCAd among (CUSTOM) or (OTHER PREDEFINED) hatchs as wel, or make it by using (SUPER HATCH in express tools). But to creat PAT file that what I want to know.
I am looking for a solution to create a watermark in AutoCAD DWG file:
Support AutoCAD 2010 to 2014.The watermark should be looks as a half-transparent background for the original DWG file. The watermark will not change when the drawings in the original DWG file is zoomed in/out.The watermark does not depend on an external picture file. When opening the DWG file, the user cannot remove the background watermark.
I have Inventor Professional 2013 (student). I can't open new file, if I try to the program crashes and closes and try to send an error report. Can't install update/patch (DL20857064_32-bit.msp or inventor2013_sp1.1_x86.msp), says program not installed/or can't gain acces to the HKey. I have admin rights, I have tried re-activating, repairing, re-installing, uninstalling and reinstalling, to the point i had to request a new activation code but it's still not working.
I have attached a file with error messages and my system, which should be ok according to the system requirements.
I'm trying to create a new local file but the option is greyed out (not available). We're using Revit Server 2013 and we have one Central Server and two Accelerators in different locations. This issue is affecting only one of the two locations.
I'm making a short animation on 3ds max design, it's supposed to be about 10 seconds, and I can't seem to find where I can control the animation speed. I render out the frames to AVI format, (abot 250 frames) but when I play the animation in VCL or any other mediaplayer, it seems to lack length completely - the timeindicator shows 00.00.00. I attached just a test animation, it's there but something's wrong..
-Inventor 2013 SP1.1 (Issue) -Inventor 2011 SP2 (No Issue)
Templates have been coverted up from 2011, keeping copies of the old templates in separate folders all under the same parent directory.Have 2013 mapped to the folder with updated templates located on a network drive. Total of 18 temolates including the standard templates.
The Issue:I start Inventor 2013 or open an .ipt/.iam ect. I now want to create a new file so I click the "New" Icon.Inventor freezes for 10-15seconds and finally shows the templates. After that if you click on any of the templates it freezes instantly. Or if you scroll the browser bar down to navigate the folder. 15-35 seconds
After selecting the correct template it freezes for about 15 seconds. For those keeping track Thats 40-65 seconds just to open a drawing...
For Inventor 2011.Click, Click, Click. Open...Takes maybe 5 seconds.
I couldn't create DVD disk, or, couldn't create video file either. It would go to about 99% & then hang the system for hours (until stopped with Task Manager).
I had installed all of the updates, including SP2. I've uninstalled today & I will re-install in the next day or so to see if it works.
I can't open a new Illustrator file. It sends me this error: Can't create a new illustration. Problems occurred while saving the print file.I opened a previous document created in CC, but it will not allow me to copy and paste items from one doc to another. I have rebooted with no avail.
I have no background with AutoCAD 2013, but my boss has given me the software and tasked me with taking entire floor plans of an individual floor .dwg and create smaller areas of each floor into separate, new .dwg's (like several rooms together) that then could be converted into .pdf's for sharing and/or printing. I have tried to find a simple tutorial or explaination of how to do this, but AutoCAD is such an amazing and complex tool that I'm having trouble with the terminology even.
I was right-clicking on the 'Model' tab to create a 'New Layout', right-clicking that to get to 'Page Set-Up Manager' and 'Modifying that to select 11 x 17, Landscape, and 'Adobe PDF' in the Printer dialog box. When I worked in the new Layout window sometimes I could zoom in to a section of the floorplan and then go to 'A' button in the upper left corner and select 'Print' and sometimes the resulting .PDF file would be that smaller section, and sometimes it would still just be the whole floorplan.
I am converting 1100 files from RAW to JPEG in ACR and after about every 10 or 15 images I randomly get the script alert 'I am unable to create a file in this folder. Please check your access rights to this location'
Under the properties on that folder 'full permission' is checked for everything. All of the images that have been processed are saved into that folder as well.
I'm using a PDF overlay which looks perfect in CAD and print Preview. When printing to PDF the quality drops to a level which is useless. I have tired increasing DPI and Quality settings but the outcome is the same.
Print Screen Of Print Preview - Notice Quality of text on the panel
Print Screen Of Actual PDF - Text unreadable...

EDIT-- It seems I can't upload an image big enough to show the issue. You'll have to take my word for it.
