Every time that I open a new drawing which has clipped XRefs, the X clip frame is set to the number 2, and I set it back to number "0", but then when I finish that drawing and open another drawing, then the new drawing reverts back to X clip frame 2.
How or where I can change the setting to the default is always "0"?

Displays but does not plot the PDF underlay frame.

Displays but does not plot the frame.and this last one is the override for all frames but...on the printout a few thin lines of the clip (not all) but noting in the preview

I create animated gifs frequently using the Frame Animation pallet. The default frame rate starts out as 10 seconds, so I always have to change it to 4 seconds. Is there anyway to reset the default frame rate that I start out with to 4 seconds, so that I don't have to change it every time?
Preferences did not yield any promising menus
I know the standard default reset with many Adobe products is to change it without a document open, but in PS CS5.5 if you do not have a document open the frame rate option is greyed out

I'm looking for (specifically) for Victorian border clip art, frames with tops, bottoms, and sides, in color. So far after scanning zillions of sites from a Google search, nothing of quality.
I'm not averse to buying the CDs, just that I don't often use Victorian...
I get this strange thing when editing clips in VS x3 - each clip has 3 frames the same at the beginning. It's a real pain, as it mean I have to cut each clip at the start. I always assumed it was something to do with the footage from my Canon HG20 camcorder. It's a HDD camcorder, and though I don't shoot in HD (I shoot in SP - 7 sbps), I never used to get the problem when editing mini DV clips. I recently downloaded the Pinnacle Studio 15 trial, however, and noticed that it didn't happen in that editor. I prefer VS X3, and also like the trial of VSX4, though the problem persists in that version, as well.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a single frame clip in my library, i want to put this clip into my timeline and i want it to be 10 seconds. I can just easily in/out in timeline and 'overwrite'. i don't like where i'm repeating a single frame and then still need to render it as 10 seconds clip.
This should be done like 'repeat' in the desktop tools. So in timeline when doing 'overwrite' , Smoke has to be smart to detect 1 frame edit so it just need to 'repeat' it not to 'timewarp' it.
And the another BAD thing , i can't have 'repeat' tool inside cfx . why ? so have to repeat the clip outside the cfx and go back into cfx.
I've got a 30 second piece of video in which a logo on a wall needs to be erased. I used the patch tool and it did a wonderful job, but only on the first frame of the clip.

Is it by design that I cannot hear sound from videoclips played in "clip" mode when the volume is set to 100% ? I can hear the sound OK when the volume is changed to anything other than 100%, like 101% or 99%. By the way I can hear the sound OK when played in Project mode at 100%, just not in clip mode at 100%. This is very annoying as I need to change the volume of each clip to hear it. Product is VS-X5 digital purchase. video clips are from Leica Dlux-5 foto camera, which is basically a panasonic inside (avcdh lite 720p)

I tried MaxStart.max way, but it doesn't work (I created a new file with PAL frame rate and saved it as MaxStart.max into 3ds Max folder root)
When using the 3DClip command, the mini screen no longer appears for me to complete this task. Also, about 50% of the time, my drawing will lock up or fatal error when trying to utilize the 3DClip command.

What is really disappointing is that whenever a solid (or xref or block) is sectioned this way, it shows a back faces of that object. It makes the view messy and confusing, and then I have to use whiteout all over my paper space to make the drawing readable.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs often done in mechanical drawings, a circle is drawn around a detail in the main drawing, and the detail is displayed somewhere else on the drawing on a larger scale.
My detail is the small rectangle in the upper right corner of the larger rectangle. I have also drawn a dash-dot-dot circle object around that corner to designate the detail-area.
In layout 1 the top left viewport displays the "whole" drawing. I also created a circular viewport to display the detail on a larger scale.
In the circular viewport, I used zoom-to-object (and selected the dash-dot-dot circle). The result is visible :both circles (object & viewport) are still visible, and they are not concentric too.
I thought the zoom command would have zoomed until both circles overlapped eachother and were concentric...
Is it possible to record a video clip (avi/wmv/MPG) of free 3d orbit shaded animation what you see on autocad screen (without specifing particular path).
There are animation settings in 3dorbit right shortcut menu, but it doesn't have option for recording a video clip.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've attached a drawing with an interesting viewport. The frame of the viewport does not show. The only way to select the vport is via qselect or ctrl+a. I've had a look around the system variables for anything that can cause this. I've also saved the drawing to 2000 dxf version, thinking that it might be a new feature causing the missing frame issue.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAccording to the documentation the FRAME system variable overrides XCLIPFRAME, IMAGEFRAME, etc., has four valid values, 0, 1, 2, or 3, and its initial default value is 3. While editing a drawing, I set FRAME to 0, and then some time later, tried to set it back to 3. AutoCAD refused to accept this value, saying "Requires an integer between 0 and 2." Typing (SETVAR "FRAME" 3) at the command line also failed. The only way I could get it back to 3 was to use UNDO to go back to the default value. Is this a bug?

My modelspace is showing thru my wipeouts... But the wipeouts are active and I have remade the viewports with the same result. I've used draw order with no change. And here's the kicker. It (the Wipeout) hides the viewport frame, but not the actual model space material being shown thru the viewport. It remains visible.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a logo that is a jpg file Xref'd into a title block xref file. In my sheet files IMAGEFRAME and OLEFRAME are set to 0. They are set that way in the Title Block file as well. I still have some sheet files with these system variables set to 0 that still print the border around the logo.
