I am having a problem with camera mapping...I get everything setup and looking good, but when I render it, the image looks really washed out. This happens with both scanline and mental ray rendering. I have done this in the past using max 2009 without any issues.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHere is the story: I have batched out a folder of JPGs from Photoshop and would like to import them into Lightroom to Resize them . I'm resizing so that I can post them on my website.
I have double and triple checked to insure I have no "Develop" settings to be applied. I import the photos, and they look fine in thumbnails. Then they update one at a time with a washed out color to a bluish / b&w type color. I exported one of the photos to see if it was just a preview and sure enough the color is gone.
It doesn't happen on every import as I just resized a different folder of photos that I had downloaded from elsewhere a week ago and they worked fine. It's somewhat random. I am attaching links to before and after.

I started using Image Mapping earlier today to see what it was...I made a signature for a friend of mine. However i have these two boxes in the image that were suppose to be click-able links. I used Image Mapping to do this however, I found out that after you get the source code it's programed to HTML. I was wondering if there was a way to use the HTML code to put into an IMG.
Like. What i mean is. Instead of using an HTML code for a website banner, Is there a way to do the same concept only in IMG format, And to where when you see the image, You can move your mouse over the two boxes and they could be click-able, And direct you to the specific site that It's programmed to take you to?
My photoshop skills aren't bad however my rendering is hopeless. I wanted to get this printed on a tank top.
View 8 Replies View RelatedLR4 4.2 with ACR 7.2Mac OSX 10.8.2Nikon D600 NEF (Raw) files This problem has occured everytime I use LR4 and I've tried exporting to different colour space - sRGB, AdobeRGB with the same result. This is using my new Nikon D600, when I export a photo processed in LR4 and shot from my old Canon 400D the colours are almost identical when viewed in Preview with just the usual loss you would expect converting to sRGB.
I hope this is an issue that is being worked on for the update that will fully support the D600.
When I assign an image map or URL to an object in PPX6 then proceed to Export to Web with HTML and slices selected, it does not export the HTML hyperlinks or image maps.

I checked out the ColorMapping example but the tessellation of the flat surface is not sufficient to get high resolution image mapped on it. My intention is to attach images to several parts faces within the assembly environment and this as fast as possible since the scene needs to update very quickly.
PS: I use C#.NET.
I made this image a while ago and I can't remember quite how I did it. What I can remember is that I used rendering clouds and adding noise, channels, and changing the color at some point. I did most of it from this video: [URL]....
But I didn't do everything from it, I tweaked something, it may have been the lighting rendering.
The reason I want to recreate this is because I need a version of it in higher quality. It's supposed to have a rock texture look to it, and I made it look golden.

Using Inventor 2014 for some very simple (just a few component) models. When I use Studio to render an image, two objects are shown with a "cross" on them. The parts are nothing but extruded circles--nothing to them, so it's not clear to me why there are lines on their surface.

View 4 Replies View Relatedusing Gimp to create a website header that includes image mapping. I figured out how (Filters > Web > Image Map). I just can't figure out how to save it in a format that I can then upload to a Bandcamp website.
I can open a graphic in Gimp that I made in Powerpoint. A second window opens with the same graphic and that is where I add the image mapping. So now how do I save it so that when I upload it the tags are there? Or am I supposed to copy all the tags and then paste that code? I can find the place in Bandcamp where the code gets pasted - but I haven't yet figured out how to copy the code.
I am aiming to plot and print a 3d model when it has been rendered.
I am able to save the rendered image when it is produced in its pop up box, but then when I try to import the image so that it can be plotted and printed it says that autocad doesn't support the file.
Here is what I am doing...
1) I have a transparent .png
2) I select the .png as an object
3) I assign this object a url and alt comment using the internet tool bar or the object properties dialog
4) I define the area as polygon
5) I Export For Web
6) Under HTML and Slices I Export image and HTML
7) I Save as... my .png image
8) It produce an html file with my image, but no hyperlinking or image mapping...

The extruded face with System Copy on it has gone really nasty. It looked great before I rendered it! which I daren't render.

A few hours ago, I was playing with some sun and lightning settings (I think), and those shadows stopped appearing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing X5 pro, a project comprising an introduction and 6 clips was created, with menu. Each clip has its own sound (voice and music). The rendering config included 2 pass conversion and normalise sound checked, for creation of a disk image on an HDD folder. The preview worked fine - vision and sound OK. Because there were multiple disks to be made, the image creation also worked fine, as did the burn disk from iso.
But when the resulting disk was played back after burning, the first clip on it had no sound. Imagery fine, just no sound. It wasn't an isolated case. A repeat try - with particular care to check this aspect, ie sound on the clip, was OK during preview - got the same result in the final disk.
My Nikon D3 is set to save each image as nef and jpg (fine, large). Why is the jpg image opened in camera raw different from the same image in nef?

I have a still image of a view looking up at a complicated building (no ground in shot). There are lots of square features so I know where the right angles are but I have absolutely no information on any distances/dimensions at all and no info on the camera (focal length etc…).
I can get close by eyeballing it in 3D Max, tweaking cam position and focal length and proxy geometry but I’m sure there is a way to do this more automatically in Matchmover (which now ships with Max).
In Matchmover 2011 I created 4 track points on my image in 2D mode, 1 on a vertical corner as the origin, 1 directly above as Z, and 2 either side of the origin using the mortar lines to keep them level (all are as far away from each other as possible to increase track accuracy). I then make a new coordinate system and snap the origin, then Z and finally the X,Y nodes to the corresponding track points.
The last node I snap whichever one it happens to be, wont snap like the others. It just pings back.When I “solve for camera” it complains that it needs at least 2 images with 7 points in common or 4 points with known 3D coordinates.
There is visible lens distortion and I think this needs correcting somehow, other than the distortion parameter for the camera but this feels like stabbing in the dark as I have no way to know what distortion to apply.
is there a way to open an image in camera raw within photoshop cs6 (on a PC)? or do I have to use bridge to do this?

I don't know what I did to cause this but what can I do to get rid of the two "Camera Raw image" label.
In camera RAW, to save a JPG you click on the 'Save image...' dialogue and another window opens with the JPG options. To skip this window and directly save the image, you hold down the ALT key and click on the 'Save image'. Is it possible to reverse these settings, so that if you want the JPG dialogue to open you have to hold down the ALT key and to save without the dialogue, you just click on the save button?

Suddenly Images showed much shorter than from Camera.With Canon 50d , took some garments and it looks fine from camera.But when I see from Bridge and Photoshop, images look shorter.

My images look fine previewed in my digital camera (Leica Digilux1) but when I import them to Photoshop they are much darker. I import using a Dazzle card reader as my son shares it and his camera has a different chip.

I see "Raw image data" under "Open > Select File Type", but grayscale isn't listed. Is the only option? Are there any add-ons for grayscale?
