Dec 28, 2013
After having made a record of my project, I see and hear a sound interference that looks like "click click click click click click". This often happens when rendering the transition constant gain. Here above render my project, the result and the problem.
And here below the photo of my project not encode, before rendering. occurred since the last update 2 Premiere Pro CC.

I've now had this happen with two completely separate projects today where I preview my edit, everything looks and sounds good, but then when I export there's a clear audio stutter wherever I used a constant power audio tansition.
NOTE: I experienced the Constant Power bug that happen last month that sounded like a super loud buzz. This is different.

It used to be that when rendering a timeline, there would be no lag between rendering the first and second videos. Now, between each video there is about a 30 second transition before the next video begins rendering. Anything that would have caused this, or is there anyway to prevent it? If I am rendering a timeline with 60 clips that need rendering, this can add a significant amount of time.

How can I view a preview how all the video transition looks between 2 clips in Premiere Pro CS5 before I choose the one I want to use.
I always use Adobe Bridge CS5 when I need to see a fosmag on the effects in After Effects CS5, but can not get it to work and then I can also see the Video Transitions in Adobe Premiere CS5

how to change the color that the "Interference Analyze" tool identifies with??
I recently converted from 2010 to Inventor 2011 Pro. 2010 had a Dark Translucent Red which was extremely useful. 2011 has a Light Translucent Red which is extremely difficult to make out ( I have a massive assembly). Identifying these fouls/interferences is vital to my job.
I tried Styles Editor, View Styles, Application/Document Settings, and even part manipulation! (bah!)

I'm seeing Premiere Pro CC (7.2.1) constantly crash with a few projects when I try to export. The common thread (as I can see) are that they were all started in earlier versions of Premiere.
I'll finish editing, then hit Ctrl-M (or Export -> Media), and Premiere sits idle for a moment, then it crashes. Importing the project sequence in AME allows for encode though.
Checking the event viewer in Windows turns up that the ntdll.dll might have something to do with it.
Here's some of the information I saw:

I have an animation I am trying to render as a Quicktime using H.264 compression at 720x480 with just one camera. I have 4 different sound clips (wavs) loaded into the scene. When I scrub the slider, the sound works just fine. However, when I render the scene as the mov, the sound does not render with it. Do you know why this isn't working and how to fix it so the sound will render with the mov?
I am using the ProSound option and rendering the scene at 30fps. Normally the sound works just fine when I render but now it won't work.

if I export a sequence from the timeline and have it imported into the project it only imports the film but without any sound. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explorer but I sometimes also get automatically a HD-file and the sound files as way as a separate thing. I never had that before. In fact what I want to do is to create a sequence from my timeline and have that as a separate HD-file to use whereever in the project. Especially if the sound is not the original one but added by myself. I have done that before and I would just get my HD-file and could play it in the preview WITH sound. Now all I get is the picture but .... like I said: without sound. That is not normal. So is that a rather useless update or a failure in the program?
And how can I copy a sequence from a timeline and place it anywhere else on the timeline. Used to be so easy in a previous premiere version. Now copy and paste does not work at all anymore. And whenever I want to add a clip onto a layer, I have to shut all used layers, because otherwise the sound goes anywhere but where it should and might just place itself within another sound-layer.Used to be all much better and simpler in previous editions.

I have a black magic and have problems setting the sound properly in PR to get the sound out through the black magic. Although settings seem to have been done properly, there is no sound coming out. When I start the setting again, most of the time the settings have automatically changed and are not on the black magic anymore.

I started a project and watch a lot of files in the source monitor to set IN and OUT points. When the file playes f.e. more than a minute the sound gets muted while the film is still running. First I thought it wood be a matter of my external HD from where I loaded the files. Now that I take the same or any other files from my internal sata 3 harddrive the behaviour is still the same.
When i scroll the mouse wheel to move some frames back and forth the sound is back when i hit the space bar. It's the same if i just hit the space bar once to pause and then hit it again to resume.
The effect shows after different amount of times, sometimes after 45 sec. and sometimes after 2 minutes +
I am running Pr Pro CS6 (latest update installed some days ago) on a windows 7 ultimate x64, 16 GB of ram, Nvidia GTX 670, i7 3770, HD is a WD caviar black
The movie clips come from a Panasonic Lumix FZ 150 in FullHD resolution as h.264 MP4 files.
I am quite sure that some months ago this behaviour was not present. I did not change anything on Premiere CS6 but running the updates.

I am exporting dailes clips. We record dual system and there are two different audio levels - on the two different channels. However, when I export a clip from Premiere and set the audio option tol the uncompressed codec it defaults to a "single track" audio layout with no option to change. However, if i change the codec to AAC or any other I am allowed to chose whether I want a single mono track or a stereo track.
Additionally - if that single uncompressed track is an amalgamation of my original two tracks - or if it has just defaulted to one or the other.

I can't find how to render a short segment on the timeline. I did read your suggestion but the squared parenthesis + alt doesn't mark anything. There is no draggable thing to mark a segment like you had on previous versions of Adpbe Premier. I can't find anything in the pull down menus. Your terms in the explanations are not clear either, You need a simple diagram of your own interface with a glossary of words you use to name your tools. This is basic. I have a problem with rendering anything more then 4 seconds at a time too, so I am really up the creek here with a 40 minute film to edit.

on my system Premiere Pro CC is only using GPU rendering with AVI output formats.
All other formats like MPEG2, Quicktime, H.264 are unfortunatly fully CPU rendered (=slow).
I just upgraded from trial to payed mode and when Premiere started the CUDA was already enabled (might have activated it during trial already).
But anyway I checked if my card was in the support txt file and also used the cuda.zip auto tool to make sure I had no typo.I did this for Premiere Pro CC and also copied the list into the Adobe Media Encoder directory.
So I started playing with input and output formats. It turned out that CUDA is currently only working with AVI output. I installed GPU-Z to check my GPU usage vs CPU usage in the task manager.
As soon as I pick any other output format than AVI - CPU usage during rendering is up to 80-90 and GPU at 0%.
With AVI output GPU ist around 30 and CPU in the 40ties or less as it should be.One of my old applications Cyberlink Power Produces 11 is doing the h264 rendering in half the time.
My System is running on:
Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe with 16GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti (with current Driver - 332.21 )
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit (with Media Center) and latest updates
Current entry in CUDA*.txt file (as printed by Adobe GPUSniffer):
GeForce GTX 660 Ti
And already tried:
GeForce GTX 660Ti
GeForce GTX 660

Okay getting completely irritated with these issues of overheating when I even just am rendering a video to get ready for export (and also on exporting)
I have tried setting power controls to the CPU to 80% but using SpeedFan I can see the CPU usage still spiking 90%-98% and heating just keeps rising and rising til shutdown.Idle CPU
-Rendering Usage in Balanced Power Settings
-Rendering Usage in High Power Settings
I really suck at understanding these things. But changing from Balanced to High Power didnt seem to affect the rendering times. But also the time was down at like 20-40 minutes before I started messing with the power controls now its at over 2 hours.
Finished a small render with success but it got pretty hot again and Norton pops up saying High CPU usage by PPro. 100% was hit quite a bit too

I am trying to edit a video for a friend. He shot the video with his phone and it shows up sideways when it is imported to Premiere. Everything works fine till I rotate is 90 degrees. When I rotate it the bar on top becomes red. The audio and video still play perfectly fine though. When I render the video and it plays back, the audio stays the same, but the video speeds up by almost 10 seconds. Also, when I try to just start over with the clip and just reimport it, it will only let me add audio to the sequence. The video plays in the preview, but will not add to the sequence after telling it to render the first time. I have deleted the project, all prefrences for Premiere, and even did an uninstall and reinstalled it.

For the longest time if I ever tried to export or render a video longer than 5 minutes, my Premiere Pro or Media Encoder crashes. I don't know why but it is EXTREMELY irritating when attempting to make lengthened gaming videos. I have tried 15 different methods all online, to no avail. It always crashes around the 40% mark in Adobe Premiere and it isn't a corrupt project.

A common misconception is that CUDA/OpenCL processing is only used for rendering for previews. That is not true. CUDA/OpenCL processing can be used for rendering for final output, too.
But where/what are the options/settings to use CUDA not only for preview purposes, but for accelerating the rendering of the final output, too?
