I have a black magic and have problems setting the sound properly in PR to get the sound out through the black magic. Although settings seem to have been done properly, there is no sound coming out. When I start the setting again, most of the time the settings have automatically changed and are not on the black magic anymore.

These are not XML from Final Cut. They are files saved from Media Express, a Black magic design program used for Capturing.
I used to have an Illustrator action that selected all shapes with a similar fill and stroke. But since actions are completely broken in Illustrator CC, I've tried getting used to the Magic Wand tool, which basically does the same thing. Except in order to make it only select shapes that have the exact same stroke and fill like I want, you have to select all the checkboxes in the Magic Wand palette and set the tolerance values to zero. I don't mind doing that once, but Illustrator keeps reverting the tolerance setting to 32 and unchecking every box except "Fill Color" every time I restart Illustrator. I even tried setting the panel the way I want it in each New Document Profile and saving the files, but that had no effect.

When i put it off (computer monitor only) it's ok but i havn't my video monitor of course....and i need it. Is there some tricks for having my black magic (1080 i 50) ON and a RAM Preview in real time ? My drivers Black magic is the 9.5.3 it's the highest driver for MAC OS 10.6.8 + ADOBE CS6+ FCP7. View 5 Replies View Relatedif I export a sequence from the timeline and have it imported into the project it only imports the film but without any sound. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explorer but I sometimes also get automatically a HD-file and the sound files as way as a separate thing. I never had that before. In fact what I want to do is to create a sequence from my timeline and have that as a separate HD-file to use whereever in the project. Especially if the sound is not the original one but added by myself. I have done that before and I would just get my HD-file and could play it in the preview WITH sound. Now all I get is the picture but .... like I said: without sound. That is not normal. So is that a rather useless update or a failure in the program?
And how can I copy a sequence from a timeline and place it anywhere else on the timeline. Used to be so easy in a previous premiere version. Now copy and paste does not work at all anymore. And whenever I want to add a clip onto a layer, I have to shut all used layers, because otherwise the sound goes anywhere but where it should and might just place itself within another sound-layer.Used to be all much better and simpler in previous editions.
How do I reduce echo without resorting to measures like hanging blankets in the room to reduce echo? apply denoiser and other sound effects?

It is a 108 minute compilation of HD material that I assembled over the last year and am scheduled to show it Christmas Eve for my family. The project burns fine to a Blu Ray disk and plays back fine however for some reason, it will only burn in stereo and not Dolby 5.1. I have 5.1 sound enabled in the settings and when I burn the disk it is also the audio format I have chosen. I have burned two disks with the same results. I burned a test Blu Ray of this project back in November and it was encoded correctly in 5.1.

I adjust the height of the last keyframe, but when I playback NOTHING happends. This is so annoying because it has always worked. I use Premiere Pro 5.5.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI started a project and watch a lot of files in the source monitor to set IN and OUT points. When the file playes f.e. more than a minute the sound gets muted while the film is still running. First I thought it wood be a matter of my external HD from where I loaded the files. Now that I take the same or any other files from my internal sata 3 harddrive the behaviour is still the same.
When i scroll the mouse wheel to move some frames back and forth the sound is back when i hit the space bar. It's the same if i just hit the space bar once to pause and then hit it again to resume.
The effect shows after different amount of times, sometimes after 45 sec. and sometimes after 2 minutes +
I am running Pr Pro CS6 (latest update installed some days ago) on a windows 7 ultimate x64, 16 GB of ram, Nvidia GTX 670, i7 3770, HD is a WD caviar black
The movie clips come from a Panasonic Lumix FZ 150 in FullHD resolution as h.264 MP4 files.
I am quite sure that some months ago this behaviour was not present. I did not change anything on Premiere CS6 but running the updates.
I am exporting dailes clips.We record dual system and there are two different audio levels - on the two different channels.However, when I export a clip from Premiere and set the audio option tol the uncompressed codec it defaults to a "single track" audio layout with no option to change. However, if i change the codec to AAC or any other I am allowed to chose whether I want a single mono track or a stereo track.
Additionally - if that single uncompressed track is an amalgamation of my original two tracks - or if it has just defaulted to one or the other.
Using CS6 Premiere Pro in Windows with the intent of making a DVD of the movie,how do I choose the Preset descriptions in the "New Sequence" screen? I assume I'm going to choose an AVCHD version, but don't have any idea what the differences are.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just finished editing a 67 minute documentary, and I'm preparing to send it to the replication company. The problem I'm running into is that the project looks very clear and clean in premiere pro, however as soon as I export and burn it to a disc via encore, the finished video is noticibly pixelated/grainy, and a lower quality.
The footage was shot in HD. I've tried exporting MPEG-DVD and MPEG so far. The MPEG-DVD setting was worse than MPEG, but that wasn't great.
Is there anything I can try to get this footage to look better? (It's due at the replication company on Tuesday.)

But now I'm experiencing an error when attempting to sync with CC from Adobe Premiere Pro. Every time I tell Premiere to 'Sync Now', from any machine I get the popup message: "Syncing Settings Failed"

I've recently come across from FCP to Premiere Pro CS6. I've also acquired a Canon XF100 camera (the output being MXF files) and have been shooting some HD test footage which is 1920x1080. However, the project I will be shooting needs to be exported as a PAL SD .MOV file, as it is to be used for broadcast by a non-HD community station.
I have tried many different sequence and export settings to create the SD .MOV file, but in nearly all of them I keep getting blurring lines across the screen. I am now not sure if I should be shooting in SD or HD... I thought that I could shoot in HD for a better image before rendering out a SD final export.(I used to do this in FCP)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Blackmagic Intensity Pro with Premiere Pro. I don't Import anything with it directly, i just use it to preview my timeline on a seperate monitor.
The issue I have is when I try to import a AVI-file to my project.before I had the Intensity Pro, Premiere would input the file as a Microsoft AVI and it worked perfectly. But now the exact same file is imported as a Blackmagic AVI-file. now I am experiencing green bars in my video and the color information is totally screwed up.
So my question is: can I deactivate or change the Import-settings of Premiere, without to remove the Card completely (turn PC off, remove card, turn back on...)?
I have created 3 different sequences, and placed a clip into each one. I went into #s 1 and 2, and added a dip to black transition to the end of the clip in each. When I went to #3, I was unable to add the dip to the clip in there. Dragging the transition to the clip on the timeline gave me a had with a circle + slash. Double clicking the transition wit hteh clip selected did nothing. The layer is not locked.

A common misconception is that CUDA/OpenCL processing is only used for rendering for previews. That is not true. CUDA/OpenCL processing can be used for rendering for final output, too.
But where/what are the options/settings to use CUDA not only for preview purposes, but for accelerating the rendering of the final output, too?
