find a way to import the XML files to fix the digitized look Adobe capture gave my footage.
These are not XML from Final Cut. They are files saved from Media Express, a Black magic design program used for Capturing.
MPEG video captured from a tape based camcorder in premiere cs5 will not import into lightroom 4.3. Why, when it is created in an adobe product?

Although settings seem to have been done properly, there is no sound coming out. When I start the setting again, most of the time the settings have automatically changed and are not on the black magic anymore.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI get a black capture screen when capturing with CS6 on a Windows 7 machine. I'm capturing through Fire wire from DV tape, via the VCR function of a Canon XL2 camera. I have tried restarting, etc.; also toggled the "preview video" radio from the Settings button in the capture Window. Nothing works and I need to be able to preview my video as I'm capturing. It is not good enough that the video actually captures fine. Also, I am forced to turn off Device Control in order to capture because it kicks me out of every capture (an immediate message of : "no frames captured") unless I do.

Unfortunately, Premiere seems to be adding the associated media files with each sequence import. Our project has fast become a mess of duplicate media. Also, I noticed this "new feature" listed on the Adobe site: An option has been added to not consolidate duplicates on import.Will this fix this problem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just tried to import a bunch if .avi files into Adobe Premiere (OSX) but they all failed due to missing codec. Is there a way around this? I've looked at some other threads but don't understand it all and i'm on a bit of a deadline.
I've currently installing it on my windows box as i know OSX doesn't play nice with avi anyway, is it likely to work?
The avi files have multiple streams -2 camera angles are recorded, when they are loaded both show and play in sync so i'm worrying about converting to another format.
Import from Adobe Premiere via AAF in Smoke 2013 Trial1 seems to work fine except:
a) only two audi tracks got imported
b) additional mono tracks in Adobe got lost during the conversion
Might be worth investigating. Bug?
where when I try to export my video, I get a pop up window saying 'some media is offline, it will be rendered using the red media offline graphic'. in Premier pro all my media seems to be online, I have followed several different video tutorials on how to re-link media and the option to re-link media is greyed out for me as there is no media that is unlinked, so why does this message come up when trying to export? Playback in PP is fine, all media appears to be online.
Having viewed the exported video it seems that all the media which has been replaced by the red 'media offline' logo is all the .MTS files filmed on my Camcorder whereas all the GoPro footage is showing up correctly in the exported video.

Is there any advantage to using "file/import media file to library" (which makes a copy in the working folder) vs just clicking on the folder icon and adding them? I've looked at the file size on both the original clip and the imported one and they are identical. It does seem as though VS extracts the original date and time shot and uses that as the imported file name,
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe capture went just fine when digitizing my tape and the .mov file has both audio and video during playback in both quick time and Adobe Premeir Pro, but when I drag it into the time line only audio will show up. Even weirder it's 4 layers of audio instead of just one audio and one video. This only began with videos that I catured today. When using footage I captured on a previous day it works just fine. What went wrong? Where's my video!?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 as well as the trial version of X4 which I have just downloaded. I am having the same problem with both versions. When I go into Capture, there is no image coming through the Capture Window, it is just black. When I hit Capture Video, it does start capturing and it does record video correctly, however when I stop capturing, the preview window turns black again.
How can I get the video to be seen in the Capture preview window?
My computer is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit edition. I am using a USB capture device, the Diamond Multimedia VC500 One Touch VHS Video Capture USB 2.0.
There is a photo I've downloaded from the Internet that is by a photographer who shoots in Black & White. However, when I print out the photo it comes out sepia. I tried adding a Black & White Adjustment layer, but when I go to click on the button in the adjustment palette it's grayed out. I've tried this on other photos of the photographer and does it fine.

I'm trying to import some photos but when I tried to find them LR doesn't allow me to see the sub-folders where I put them. I shows all the 1,000s of photos in the top level folder but when I click the triangle, it turns on its side but it doesn't reveal the sub-folders (see screen grab, Samsung is the folder I'm trying to access).

View 4 Replies View RelatedMuch of my Archived video is on DVD as a direct copy of the raw footage. I wanted to download a section from the DVD and to get VSx5 to split it into scenes. This facility is available when capturing from a DV camera but I cannot find the equivalent when capturing from digital media.
I can use the "Split by Scene" option but this only works on the Timeline and does not generate a Library of shots.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to import an .aep file into Premiere Pro CC from After Effects CC. I import the file. The dynamic import window appears. It states connected to file along with the import files ... dialogue box. It stalls there.
I have been working off my network and have all the files collected on my machine.
My workaround to get me to deadline was to render my clips from AE and import them. Importing the .aep would make more sense from efficiency and workflow.
I lost my driver disc for the capture card of Video Studio 10 Professional. And I can't find it on COREL website, even in Google.

Capture from tape works if I manually go in there and set points and Capture, but Auto-Capture doesn't work - never seems to cue up the deck properly. Gets to a 5 sec pre-roll, stutters a bit, then just beeps and stops trying.
I know the tape is fine - I sent the EDL to FCP and captured my clips - but I'd prefer to stay in Smoke, of course...
