Feb 19, 2014if I export a sequence from the timeline and have it imported into the project it only imports the film but without any sound. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explorer but I sometimes also get automatically a HD-file and the sound files as way as a separate thing. I never had that before. In fact what I want to do is to create a sequence from my timeline and have that as a separate HD-file to use whereever in the project. Especially if the sound is not the original one but added by myself. I have done that before and I would just get my HD-file and could play it in the preview WITH sound. Now all I get is the picture but .... like I said: without sound. That is not normal. So is that a rather useless update or a failure in the program?
And how can I copy a sequence from a timeline and place it anywhere else on the timeline. Used to be so easy in a previous premiere version. Now copy and paste does not work at all anymore. And whenever I want to add a clip onto a layer, I have to shut all used layers, because otherwise the sound goes anywhere but where it should and might just place itself within another sound-layer.Used to be all much better and simpler in previous editions.

Feb 3, 2014I have a black magic and have problems setting the sound properly in PR to get the sound out through the black magic. Although settings seem to have been done properly, there is no sound coming out. When I start the setting again, most of the time the settings have automatically changed and are not on the black magic anymore.

Dec 16, 2013I want to adjust the level of the sound within a clip. I take my pen tool and just add 2 keyframes a few seconds apart from eachother. I adjust the height of the last keyframe, but when I playback NOTHING happends. This is so annoying because it has always worked. I use Premiere Pro 5.5.

Premiere Pro :: Why Does Sound Stop In Source Monitor (CS6) While Playing A Film
Dec 19, 2013I started a project and watch a lot of files in the source monitor to set IN and OUT points. When the file playes f.e. more than a minute the sound gets muted while the film is still running. First I thought it wood be a matter of my external HD from where I loaded the files. Now that I take the same or any other files from my internal sata 3 harddrive the behaviour is still the same.
When i scroll the mouse wheel to move some frames back and forth the sound is back when i hit the space bar. It's the same if i just hit the space bar once to pause and then hit it again to resume.
The effect shows after different amount of times, sometimes after 45 sec. and sometimes after 2 minutes +
I am running Pr Pro CS6 (latest update installed some days ago) on a windows 7 ultimate x64, 16 GB of ram, Nvidia GTX 670, i7 3770, HD is a WD caviar black
The movie clips come from a Panasonic Lumix FZ 150 in FullHD resolution as h.264 MP4 files.
I am quite sure that some months ago this behaviour was not present. I did not change anything on Premiere CS6 but running the updates.
Premiere Pro :: Export Clips With Uncompressed Sound Only Allows Single Audio Track?
Mar 17, 2014I am exporting dailes clips.We record dual system and there are two different audio levels - on the two different channels.However, when I export a clip from Premiere and set the audio option tol the uncompressed codec it defaults to a "single track" audio layout with no option to change. However, if i change the codec to AAC or any other I am allowed to chose whether I want a single mono track or a stereo track.
Additionally - if that single uncompressed track is an amalgamation of my original two tracks - or if it has just defaulted to one or the other.
VideoStudio :: Sound On Clip But No Sound On Project?
Oct 26, 2010Running Ulead Video studio 10 Plus and have used it well for the last few years, on Windows Vista Home ed. Have put the audio on to the project as i always have and ever had any problems wih it. Now though it will only play the sound when the audio clip is selected and not when project is selected, although the coloured lines move on the mixer in both sourround sound and non-surround sound when project is selected.

When I open short videos to edit the sound on the original video plays fine but when I open a larger video (1 hr) the sound does not play. I have played with the mute button to no avail. If i preview the files before putting them into the project, there is no sound, movie plays fine.
If i add them to the project and select "project" instead of clip there is sound...
If i add them to the project and select "clip" instead of project there is no sound...
I updated my VSX5 with SP1 but it didn't work...

Jun 7, 2011Suddenly Pro X3 will no longer play audio.
I import any mpg file which are known to have sound and when i ty to play it there is no audio at all from Pro X3. This has been working all along and it just seems to have stopped. I have made sure of the obvious things.We get sound from other apps so the computer and speakers are fine. I have checked the sound icon from within Pro X3 and it is turned up to max.

The projects and source files are:
PAL (25 fps)
Microsoft AVI files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 16:9, 25 fps
Lower Field First
Matrox DV/DVCAM -- type 2
PCM, 48.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo
I have been outputting to upload the files to Vimeo as:
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1280 x 720, 25 fps
Frame-based
H.264 Main Profile Video: 5000 Kbps
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 128 Kbps
My question is if there's any benefit or drawback to outputting at 256 Kbps sound instead of 128? The file sizes are pretty similar (I guess the extra sound quality takes a bit of the picture kbps instead?) but I can't notice a difference with either image or sound quality.
I'm using Video Studio Pro X5.

I have tried both normalize audio checked and unchecked with the same results. I am using DVD-video as the recording format. I am running VS Pro x4.

Jul 1, 2011Using VS Pro X2 on a 2.67GHz i5 with 4GB of memory running Windows 7 Home Premium.
Had lots of problems creating this project as during rendering to DVD or to a file it would get about 80% and then get the dreaded "Program not responding" message from Windows 7 Home Premium. I solved that problem by reducing the size of the many images that I had in the project and successfully rendered to an mpg file which has sound ok.
Now when I try to render to a DVD, at the preview stage there is no sound, but there was sound before I reduced the size of the images in the project.
VideoStudio :: Sound In MPG Files
Oct 25, 2012I am using VideoStudio X5. Generally video clips in various formats play properly in VS - except for MPG clips. In the case of those, the sound is very "echoey". In other words all the sound is repeated just a second or so later even though I know it is fine in the original. I do not have the same problem in other formats such as avi or wmv.

I'm using win7, and just from today, x4 has stopped giving any sound output. Playing mpg files I can see the sound levels in the mixer, but there's no output audio. I can hear mpg audio in other players, just not in Corel.

Jun 10, 2012I am attempting to transfer old VHF video to DVD. Using Hauppauge win Tv capture I achieve a surprisingly good quality sound and vision when capturing and all appears well. But! when I play back the VSP, after approx 2 seconds the sound starts going out of sync and progressively gets further and further out of sync, at worst approx 1 min separation. I hoped that after rendering this would correct itself, but no. I am using UVS 1.

Apr 18, 2011I just began using Version X4 of Corel VideoStudio Pro.
I just used it for the first time after upgrading from X3. I rendered a short video and when I tried playing it back the slide moves across the "time bar" BUT there is no motion on the screen. The same when I tried to play it w/Windows Media player.
I started coverting MPEG 4 video to DivX which always worked in X3. No I get no motion at all and no sound. Do I have a bad download?
VideoStudio :: No 3D Output And Or 5.1 Sound?
Mar 13, 2012I am using Corel Video Studio Pro X4, I have asked the below questions previously, so far there has not been a solution. It appears Corel do not have any way to contact them when there is a problem
I chose this programme over Cyberlink Power Director as it had the 5.1 mixer and 3D capabilities. I now find Power Director Ultra 10 now has the 3D Capability, the 3D works very well, but no 5.1 mixer only a pesudo type 5.1 sound, the programme itself looks to be excellent quality.
Should there be no solution to my above problems, then the only choice I have is to use Power Director, a pity.
