View 3 RepliesI am exporting dailes clips. We record dual system and there are two different audio levels - on the two different channels. However, when I export a clip from Premiere and set the audio option tol the uncompressed codec it defaults to a "single track" audio layout with no option to change. However, if i change the codec to AAC or any other I am allowed to chose whether I want a single mono track or a stereo track.
Additionally - if that single uncompressed track is an amalgamation of my original two tracks - or if it has just defaulted to one or the other.
How do I get media encoder to export a H264 with a .mov extenstion rather than a .mp4 extension?

I am having a problem with Premiere Pro CS6. It opens and imports files. The audio mixer shows the audio but there is no sound coming through.

View 2 Replies View Relatedif I export a sequence from the timeline and have it imported into the project it only imports the film but without any sound. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explorer but I sometimes also get automatically a HD-file and the sound files as way as a separate thing. I never had that before. In fact what I want to do is to create a sequence from my timeline and have that as a separate HD-file to use whereever in the project. Especially if the sound is not the original one but added by myself. I have done that before and I would just get my HD-file and could play it in the preview WITH sound. Now all I get is the picture but .... like I said: without sound. That is not normal. So is that a rather useless update or a failure in the program?
And how can I copy a sequence from a timeline and place it anywhere else on the timeline. Used to be so easy in a previous premiere version. Now copy and paste does not work at all anymore. And whenever I want to add a clip onto a layer, I have to shut all used layers, because otherwise the sound goes anywhere but where it should and might just place itself within another sound-layer.Used to be all much better and simpler in previous editions.
I have a black magic and have problems setting the sound properly in PR to get the sound out through the black magic. Although settings seem to have been done properly, there is no sound coming out. When I start the setting again, most of the time the settings have automatically changed and are not on the black magic anymore.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI want to adjust the level of the sound within a clip. I take my pen tool and just add 2 keyframes a few seconds apart from eachother. I adjust the height of the last keyframe, but when I playback NOTHING happends. This is so annoying because it has always worked. I use Premiere Pro 5.5.
View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter having made a record of my project, I see and hear a sound interference that looks like "click click click click click click". This often happens when rendering the transition constant gain. Here above render my project, the result and the problem.
And here below the photo of my project not encode, before rendering. occurred since the last update 2 Premiere Pro CC.
I started a project and watch a lot of files in the source monitor to set IN and OUT points. When the file playes f.e. more than a minute the sound gets muted while the film is still running. First I thought it wood be a matter of my external HD from where I loaded the files. Now that I take the same or any other files from my internal sata 3 harddrive the behaviour is still the same.
When i scroll the mouse wheel to move some frames back and forth the sound is back when i hit the space bar. It's the same if i just hit the space bar once to pause and then hit it again to resume.
The effect shows after different amount of times, sometimes after 45 sec. and sometimes after 2 minutes +
I am running Pr Pro CS6 (latest update installed some days ago) on a windows 7 ultimate x64, 16 GB of ram, Nvidia GTX 670, i7 3770, HD is a WD caviar black
The movie clips come from a Panasonic Lumix FZ 150 in FullHD resolution as h.264 MP4 files.
I am quite sure that some months ago this behaviour was not present. I did not change anything on Premiere CS6 but running the updates.
I am trying to export my 3D project as 3D (MVC) but I can't get VS to preserve the 5.1 sound. Either I get a 3D movie file with stereo sound or a movie with surround sound but then it's only 2D.
How to do this properly? I also tried creating a new movie template but it doesn't offer any 3D/MVC export option.
how to fix an audio issue with exporting video from Photoshop.I am choosing the quick time format however the option for sound is always grayed out. from the animation panel I have the audio enabled and I can hear it when I play back from within Photoshop.

-For audio I need to choose Quicktime format
-Photoshop is primarily image editing software (with video capabilities)
I've just tried to import a bunch if .avi files into Adobe Premiere (OSX) but they all failed due to missing codec. Is there a way around this? I've looked at some other threads but don't understand it all and i'm on a bit of a deadline.
I've currently installing it on my windows box as i know OSX doesn't play nice with avi anyway, is it likely to work?
The avi files have multiple streams -2 camera angles are recorded, when they are loaded both show and play in sync so i'm worrying about converting to another format.
Import from Adobe Premiere via AAF in Smoke 2013 Trial1 seems to work fine except:
a) only two audi tracks got imported
b) additional mono tracks in Adobe got lost during the conversion
Might be worth investigating. Bug?
For some reason I keep getting crashes when importing HDV (720p60) video into the timeline of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. This has happened on two different machines, with similar specs.
Per the suggested guidelines, here are the specifics:
Version of Premiere Pro: CS6, Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC:264587))All updates have been installed.
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.8.5.
Source footage: HDV 720p60 video in .MOV container.
Full text of error message: "Sorry, a serious error has occured that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project." Link to full crash report: URL....
Crash occurs when trying to import HDV .MOV file. This is a consistent problem when importing .MOV files of this type.
Complete Adobe Creative Suite is installed. Also using Episode Pro encoding software from Telestream to prepare HDV video. No other external video hardware or codecs installed.Yes, I am using the Mecury Playback Engine GPU acceleration.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently started working for a state government agency, we have 2 users in our department that have Adobe Premiere Elements 11 installed (they have for quite a while) I noticed while working on their PC that Photoshop elements can take 5-10 minutes to start once they click on video editor and new Project, also the help files do not work they produce a page cannot be found error.I am replacing there PC in a standard upgrade rollout schedule and I have noticed the same issue on their new PC's, after looking into this I thought I would try the application on the same PC but connected up to a standard ADSL line outside of our network and proxy, the application opens with 10-15 seconds and the help menus are working.
Is there any exceptions I could ask our network administrators to put into the proxy to allow the traffic out and in to fix this issue.
The PC is running Adobe Premiere Elements 11
Windows 7 x32 install
The PC far exceeds the minimum requirements for the application as listed on this website.
Running Ulead Video studio 10 Plus and have used it well for the last few years, on Windows Vista Home ed. Have put the audio on to the project as i always have and ever had any problems wih it. Now though it will only play the sound when the audio clip is selected and not when project is selected, although the coloured lines move on the mixer in both sourround sound and non-surround sound when project is selected.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to export a sequence as XML, but no matter what I try, it exports the wrong sequence. I've tried selecting the sequence in the project panel, then hitting export, and I've also tried opening the timeline and exporting from there.
The sequence being exported is actually used at one point in the sequence I want to export, otherwise I would just delete it temporarily. I'm using Premiere CC 7.2.
I am trying to export a 15 minute film, with a LOT of audio clips to OMF for ProTools. The exporting "hangs" during the process when it encounters a certain file-name. The filename is gibberish, so I have not the slightest idea, which file it is, or where on the timeline I could look for it.
Another problem seem to be nested audio sequences can't be exported. Am I correct in assuming that I will have to replace every single clip by hand?
(Why is there no Python interface for Premiere... life would be SO much easier )
I've read through some of the threads concerning OMF: If I understand it correctly, OMF export is really buggy/limited in PPro CC for a fast workflow with a ProTools site?
I just finished editing a 67 minute documentary, and I'm preparing to send it to the replication company. The problem I'm running into is that the project looks very clear and clean in premiere pro, however as soon as I export and burn it to a disc via encore, the finished video is noticibly pixelated/grainy, and a lower quality.
The footage was shot in HD. I've tried exporting MPEG-DVD and MPEG so far. The MPEG-DVD setting was worse than MPEG, but that wasn't great.
Is there anything I can try to get this footage to look better? (It's due at the replication company on Tuesday.)
How do I export an animated GIF from Premiere CC?
I dont see an Animated codec option
design an image / animation like the one shown below, in software (probably Photoshop), and then import this image into Adobe Edge for the user to interact with.
1. Should Photoshop be used if I am considering importing into Edge (File Size issues?)
2. Is Adobe Edge suitable to animate this design? - Why? (Note: I am looking for the pitch to rotate and stop at certain frames when user will click on certain links.
3. This is planned to be hosted on a CMS Joomla, where users will have access to certain animaitons based on membership (tiered) - Why?
