View 4 RepliesLet's say I have 4 sequences, of which 2 are multi-cam. I go through each sequence and add my Markers. How can I locate these sequence markers without opening each sequence and looking at the Markers panel?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIf i have a clip on the timeline and i doubleclick it to bring it up in the source monitor and add markers. The markers appear in the clip in the source monitor, but they the markers don't show up on the clip in the timeline. Never had this issue with CS6 (or FCP). Is it just a setting? Or this is a bug in Premiere CC?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI know this can't be done at present but it would be great to be able to see both timeline & clip markers as you work through a sequence of subclips. This is for those that get handed a project where the Markers have been spread across both clip & sequence. Even a merge function based on current location would do?
View 3 Replies View RelatedRe: Adobe Master Suite CS6 and specifically PPro CS6. I am trying to find any information on using my chapter or encore markers in a sequence to create multiple videos using the markers and doing this in Media Encoder. It is a music video I want to split into 22 separate videos based on the start point for each song. It is such a natural thing to want to do this that I would at least have expected to see a comment to the contrary if it is not capable of being done in the manner I am suggesting. I would expect to be able to do a dynamic link to the sequence and be able to split the file in a fashion similar to Encore which imports the sequence as a series of chapter points I then use to create my DVD.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIn CS6, is it possible to navigate between clip markers in the timeline.
I'm talking about markers placed on actual clips, not markers placed on the sequence timeline.
I'd like to have a shortcut to navigate between clip markers but that shortcut seems to only work on markers placed on the sequences timeline, not on the clip.
Yes, you can open the clip in the source monitor, then jump to clip markers for that one clip but that's not what I'm after.
I want to mark my clips in the source monitor, bring all those clips to one timeline, then navigate between the markers placed on the actual clip.
When I hover over a marker there's a text blub that pops up in the source monitor. The color is dark blue and it's difficut to see what the text says against some footage.
Is there a way to change the color to something lighter?
Is it possible to prevent timeline markers from responding to a ripple delete? On a film project it's not an issue, but when I do broadcast work, a lot of times I need to hit specfic moments in time, like 28:30 for a half hour show. I'll add a timeline comment mark to that point in time, but later, due to a lot or ripple deleting, that marker has shifted drastically. Right now the only work around I found is to add an ajustment later on an unused track and lock the track. But this gets to be a pain if I need multiple markers.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've placed the Multi-Segmented Grids in my large project that requires (6) dependent views per floor plan. In each of the dependent views, I'm trying to get the grid markers to show at the ends that ~I~ want them to show, but I'm not getting the checkbox.
Is this by design? Or is it a bug?
I accidently deleted a section marker from a plan view. The section still exists and in shown in other plan views. I feel stupid for asking, but how can I get the section marker to reappear on the original plan view?

IN PE-8 how can I display two panes - one pane containing the image file names contained in a folder and the other pane which displays the image of the file name selected? View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm in the process of creating 3D points (as an overlay) on some laser scanned data (using RiScan, it's just 3d dimensional data, with a northing, easting and RL) and unfortunately the only export option is to export to .dxf... Which is fine but when I export, the information has the point ID as the layer name.
I am aiming at getting this data into another program to analyse and it needs the point ID or name to be my annotation, as opposed to the layer.
So what I need is a way of converting the names of each individual points layer, to the point ID.
I work with the latest version (7.2.2) of the application on a Windows PC.My configurations are the following:
Intel i7 2600k @ 3.40 GHz
16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz
120GB SSD Samsung 840 Series Basic
Sapphire ATI Radeon R9 270 2GB VRAM
I have the latest drivers installed. The crash occurs as soon as I try to switch from list view to icon view in my project browser. The thumbnails come up but Premiere crashes with a serious problem notification shortly after (no further infos whatsoever).
I've tested my RAM by using MEMtest86: No errors. I have narrowed it down to my graphic card. I plugged it out for testing and had no problems with the icon view. The graphic card has currently the AMD Beta-Driver (14.3 Beta) but that didn't work. Before that I had the 13.12 version installed. I've also tried switching the Open_CL Support off.
I've been getting a "Serious Error" message consistently when using Premiere Pro CC on my Macbook Pro. It only seems to remedy itself after a system restart, but eventually it will happen again. Most recently it happened after I used After Effects without issue. Here are my system specs and a copy of the error log.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to color match two shots and I'd like to be able to view them side by side while I adjust the colors in one of the shots. It seems like a good way to do this would be to view two program monitors side by side - but is that possible? I can't see that option anywhere.
Using the source monitor for comparison doesn't make sense to me as I've already color corrected the reference shot and the source monitor shows the original footage (ie. the wrong colors). I could of course try to match the shots based on the source footage of the reference shot and then apply a second color correction but that seems a bit unnecessary to me.
Or - I remember that in FCP7 there is an option to use split screen while color correcting two view two shots simulatenously side by side in the same screen/monitor. Is there anything like that hidden in PPro?
Working on a 28:30 project with 8 hours of footage shot over 13 days. I have seperate bins for each day. Some bins are displaying the clips in reverse order while in thumnail view and I cannot change it to be in sequential order. I've tried sorting it in list view first, but that doesn't work. I have the latest version of Premiere CC.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI accidentally included a file rename when I just imported a batch of several hundred pictures. I violated a rule that I teach my own Lightroom students, and that is to look carefully at the import panel choices before proceeding.
How can I correct this so that the files are named as they originally were? I know how to easily fix the filenames in Windows (using a tool called BulkRename, for example), but then I'd have to "find" each image one-by-one and correctly point to the renamed version. I tried selecting all the images and then using F2 to rename, but none of the templates allow deleting a portion of the filename.
P.S. Here is an example of what I mean:

I have just installed Production Suite cs6 for Windows 7. I am working in PS and am trying to save files into the favorites like in my windows folder setup. When I save in After Effects CS6 I get that option, but in PS and IL, I do not. Is there a way to change the options in PS to be like in AE? Attached in a photo of AE on the left and PS on the right in their save windows and it looks like PS has just the icons available while AE has a different look altogether. Possibly the “Classic” look.
I just switched from Mac b/c Apple never updated to new Power Macs, just the band aid that they recently did.I am not even sure what to call this. I am assuming the “Navigation pane.”
When I try to print to A3 from PS, the preview pane only shows in A4 - why is this happening?
