Photoshop :: Navigation Pane In CS6

I have just installed Production Suite cs6 for Windows 7. I am working in PS and am trying to save files into the favorites like in my windows folder setup. When I save in After Effects CS6 I get that option, but in PS and IL, I do not. Is there a way to change the options in PS to be like in AE? Attached in a photo of AE on the left and PS on the right in their save windows and it looks like PS has just the icons available while AE has a different look altogether. Possibly the “Classic” look.
I just switched from Mac b/c Apple never updated to new Power Macs, just the band aid that they recently did.I am not even sure what to call this. I am assuming the “Navigation pane.”

While reviewing pictures via the content pane, I right-click on a duplicate photo but it takes several minutes for the picture to delete from the hard drive. How do I refresh the content pane after deleting photo's from the hard drive?

I have a navagation bar and I want to make a rollover menu.
Can this be done in PS, or do I have to export it to ImageReady?
I basically just want the text to change color on rollover.
Do I do the text in their different states in PS?

I bought a navigation bar that is all one picture. how I would be able to get it to function? I've seen youtube videos about inputting a navigation bar but there's seem to be in pieces instead of one picture.
It is simpler to make a navigation bar myself in dreamweaver but I liked this one so I bought it. The file is psd but I need to convert this navigation bar to html and css in dreamweaver so it is functional and you can click on each menu which it takes you to a different page.

this feature works great = to select next layer down/up - option + [ or ]
BUT can you do the below.
1 - is there a way to make this work when the layers are inside a layer folder?
2 - is there a way to make this work if I want to keep another layer on in the background?
3 - if these things are not possible is there a way to program an action to make them work?

I've done it in the past to click on the dotted line to detach the animation pane so while repeatedly using Animstack & Playback is less cumbersome. Why I no longer have that option?

For Adobe GoLive CS, how can I easily keep my navigation bar that is on my home page on other pages in my site? For example I have a button on my home page that is for the contact page. So on my contact page I want my navigation bar still at the top.

I have run into 2 problems
1. The buttons are not contacting eachother to form a smooth navigation bar. For instance, there would be a half inch gape showing just the background between the HOME and FORUMS buttons. The edges of each image does not contact eachother to form a smooth navigation bar. (Picture added for better understanding.)
2. The image that I sliced up was in the size of 1024x768. Now obviously when a person with 800x800 resolution views it, they will have to scroll. But no matter what size I input, they will either have to scroll, or a 1024x768 viewer, there bar would be to short/small. Is there a strand in dreamweaver that one can type to kind of "autosize" the header depending on the persons resolution?

I am trying to model a window pane with old, crackled paint. First I tried to build something myself, using smoke maps and cellular maps, but couldn't get it to look realistic. So now I found a great texture on CG Textures.
But it is a 2D texture and I can't get it to look right on my 3D window pane. I tried using the map on UV, VW and WU projections, I even made three materials, one for each projection, but I keep getting lines in stead of paint cracks. Maybe it's the tiling, but there I also tried low numbers and high numbers.
Do I need to unwrap the UVs (I did see some that use the standard primitives, but my window is an editable poly).

I'm a 3D artist, and I've been using photoshop for texturing my models for so long. Now that photoshop has improved it's 3D features, It's making my life so easy, but there's a problem(other than the memory consumption).
I have to change my navigation from rotation to panning and zooming by clicking on the buttons on top, and for a long run it would be devastating , and I haven't found a way to assign any shortcuts to them so I can easily and quickly hover around my 3D model to texture and paint it.
I personally Believe that It won't be addressed until CS7 or some other version.

How I get the edges to fold round behind the navigation bar exactly as it is in this picture.
I know how to round corners, but that' not what this is. I know its almost the same as a ribbon, but its not, its folding round behind the background color.

I'm making a quick and dirty web photo gallery of some tennis pictures.
I have one questions (Photoshop CS3):
1) Is there some easy and quick way of adding some simple navigation to it? I want to add the following links:

2nd singles
1st doubles

Is there some way of adding links in Web Photo Gallery, or should I just slap some links in with a text editor?

last week I purchased and installed CorelDraw X4. After I had watched the video tutorials I wanted to try out the preview function in the Windows Explorer which should work with Vista and Windows 7. A double click starts Corel X4 properly, but the preview or the thumbnail function doesn't work (message "no preview available"). Curiously the Corel paint Fotos work in the preview pane. Only cdr-files aren't previewed.
In the scrapbook the cdr files are displayed correctly.
how to activate this preview function?

I use Corel Draw x6 running Vista Home Premium. In Windows Explorer, I've never been able to view CDR images as anything but icons. After reading a few forum posts, I experimented with changing the file associations to Windows Photo Gallery and then back again to CD x6. This didn't change the situation.
I've also run into a problem in Tools, Options, Global, Filters, associate. Associations with CDR and WMF won't stay. I check them, but the next time I open Filters, they are unchecked.
I just want to see a thumbnail of a CDR or WMF file before I open it in Corel Draw. I don't even have a preview pane in the open screen. Am I supposed to have a preview pane? All I have is File Name and File Format Type.

I have read several requests from others, as well as the very confusing "answers" to them. Corel's manual shows photos of before/after views in several examples, but there is no info on how to bring them up. Some of the answers here say things like "Use the window" don't know where that is "Simulate a before/after" - Are you kidding? "Click on filters" - doesn't work Use Adjust menu.
WHY does Corel show all those samples but not have a way to do it?On page 130 of the PaintShop Pro X4 manual, there is a discussion and a picture of a Before/After situation, but nowhere is there any info on how to bring it up.

is there any way to have a permanent vault browser pane ? The idea would be to have it separated from the inventor browser in order to have the both browsers visible on screen (or maybe just show the vault status icon in the inventor browser).

Some how I changed the way my ribbon displays and I can't find the correct termenology to find the solution on the help section. Previously the different function icons displayed with each panel on the ribbon. now only the pannel and title display. Where do i look to change the setting back?

If i have a property Type Single i can not type in a decimal number like 12.25. I only can input integer which becomes 12.00 in a pane. Is it a bug? I am working in Autodesk Map 2012 on Windows 7, 64 bit.

Just passing along this preview "glitch" in CS5 that could cause some headaches or costly reprints.
We had a file where some text "appeared"on screen as a solid fill even though it was mistakenly filled with a gradient in the colour panel.
When the job was output the type was missing.
Upon investigation it was noted the text was filled with a gradient through the color panel....however the preview did not reflect this. The proper way to apply a gradient to text is in the appearance panel> add new fill>gradient.
This will preview the gradient in the text properly. Shouldn't there be an friendly error message or pop up to warn users that this fill option is not available?

I moved a folder in Lightroom in the file pane, in Library mode and now Lightroom thinks they are missing. I looked for them in Finder and they aren't were they were and they aren't where I moved them too. I can't figure out how they just disappeared into the ether. The pictures are on a network drive, but I've done this before and Lightroom had no problems whatsoever.
