While reviewing pictures via the content pane, I right-click on a duplicate photo but it takes several minutes for the picture to delete from the hard drive. How do I refresh the content pane after deleting photo's from the hard drive?

I thought I would use Content Center for this. However on the left model tree pane I select the 'Model' drop down menu and select 'Favorites'. 'Content Center' is listed but there are no content center components shown?
Am I using this feature correctly?
I believe my content center is installed correctly because I can 'Place from Content Center' in a new .iam file within the same project.
creating several collections in Bridge the other day (5 collections with about 20 images in each). After closing and restarting Bridge the collections were still in the list, but with (0) Items in them.
Figured it was a one-time-glitch and started sorting in collections again, and now after restarting Bridge the collections have 0 items in them yet again.
Note, the collections are just collections, not smart collections. I have used this feature frequently, always worked fine until just now.
Already tried resetting Bridge preferences with holding down ctrl-alt-shift on startup, didnt work - just lost all configuration settings.
I'm running CS5 in Windows 7 64-bit.
I've been running into an odd problem using the Animation window and Transforms. If I select an area then try to Transform it (using either Free Transform shortcut or the Move tool with "show transform controls" enabled), the canvas and navigator stop refreshing. I can still pan around the canvas and draw on selected layers, but those are the only operations that get the screen to refresh. Changing frames, turning on/off layers, and hitting Undo will still perform those actions but the results aren't displayed on screen until I pan the canvas.
If I have multiple files open, all of them are effected in this way. Quitting then restarting PS gets rid of the refreshing problem, but if I use the Transform tool in a file this problem has occurred in, the same thing happens.
This doesn't happen until I've been working on a file for a long time (at least an hour or so), regardless of file size as far as I've tested. The problem persists with and without OpenGL drawing enabled. I have an Nvidia GTX 560 with driver 306.97 installed.
I find the need to keep manually refreshing directory listings to be kind of retro. Would it be possible to add a preference to auto-refresh after each export. Its very disconcerting in this day and age to export a file and not see it listed without additional manual interaction.
Also I find it a bit odd that the GUI refers to File Sequence not Image sequence but i can live with that if I don't have to keep refreshing.
My navigator window gets stuck on a previous image from time to time. Random moves like switching back to Library module or reloading / zooming the image doesn't seem to work either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have created a custom docker and I need to find a way to have the docker refresh when the document.save event is fired. The docker retrieves custom document properties saved within the file and displays the vales in the docker. I have it currently set to update when i switch between documents or when the document is closed, the docker is cleared of all the values. I still , to this day, can not figure out how to refresh automatically after I save a document.

While in the Dynamic Block Editor, there times you may zoom in and out.The Parameters & Actions icons & text might get really large.
Before Ribbons, there was a flag at the top of the Display which would reset the sizes.
can not find any way to reset the sizes so I can continue the editing.
The only way I've found to accomplish that is to exit from the Block Editor and re-enter it.
When hiding or showing a layer the main canvas is not refreshing.
If I hide the layer window then the canvas is refreshed.
So in order to hide a layer I click the eye icon, click in the canvas panel, hit Tab to refresh the canvas, and tab again to shop the layer window again.
I'm pretty sure this is not by design but I'm not sure whether there's a setting I've accidentally activated, or if it's a bug in Gimp or if it's a problem with the graphics set up on my machine (not having any other problems).
I'm using Gimp v 2.8.4 On fedora 17/Gnome 3
I've tried purging gimp from my system and reinstalling with out success!
AI cs6 64bit window gets all 'blocky'! when i try to move objects, when i click on nodes on a path etc. Please see the video to see what i mean. 32bit is working jsut fine!

E.g. I have a file A.ipt and I replace it with B.ipt then in the Brwoser will be shown: A.ipt:1, even when B is already inserted.
Is there some refresh, like "Update Browser nodes when done" ?
These both has no influence on it:

InventorVb.DocumentUpdate()
By the way. To Update the Browser manually, I have to rename the block nodes (From Filename to Filename). So it's only opening up the Renaming Function and then hitting "ok".
If there's no direct function to update the Browser, maybe there's a way to do the manually way by iLogic?
I have just installed Production Suite cs6 for Windows 7. I am working in PS and am trying to save files into the favorites like in my windows folder setup. When I save in After Effects CS6 I get that option, but in PS and IL, I do not. Is there a way to change the options in PS to be like in AE? Attached in a photo of AE on the left and PS on the right in their save windows and it looks like PS has just the icons available while AE has a different look altogether. Possibly the “Classic” look.
I just switched from Mac b/c Apple never updated to new Power Macs, just the band aid that they recently did.I am not even sure what to call this. I am assuming the “Navigation pane.”
When I try to print to A3 from PS, the preview pane only shows in A4 - why is this happening?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm doing an evacuation plan of an office building. The drawing itself is in the model space, obviously. The fire extinguishers and escape routes are added in layout.
The problem is that everything that I add in the layout ends up beneath the drawing in model space. I.e. the walls of the building are shown in front of the fire extinguishers which makes my evac.plan look like poop.AutoCad Architecture 2013.
Somehow the Content Center Filter clears all content while in ISO or DIN. Both libraries are turned on in project.
I can see only one custom library when either filter engaged. I also see both ISO and DIN parts when filter is off.

I've done it in the past to click on the dotted line to detach the animation pane so while repeatedly using Animstack & Playback is less cumbersome. Why I no longer have that option?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to model a window pane with old, crackled paint. First I tried to build something myself, using smoke maps and cellular maps, but couldn't get it to look realistic. So now I found a great texture on CG Textures.
But it is a 2D texture and I can't get it to look right on my 3D window pane. I tried using the map on UV, VW and WU projections, I even made three materials, one for each projection, but I keep getting lines in stead of paint cracks. Maybe it's the tiling, but there I also tried low numbers and high numbers.
Do I need to unwrap the UVs (I did see some that use the standard primitives, but my window is an editable poly).

what is the purpose of the histogram display on the adjust pane. can it be modified from there? Also - what is the purpose of the four boxes below the histogram display?
Together they take up too much real estate to be there just for looks .
Not sure why but, none of my presets on the right-hand side pane is showing up. How do I fix this without (i guess) re-installing PSP? I've included a screen capture below.
View 2 Replies View Relatedlast week I purchased and installed CorelDraw X4. After I had watched the video tutorials I wanted to try out the preview function in the Windows Explorer which should work with Vista and Windows 7. A double click starts Corel X4 properly, but the preview or the thumbnail function doesn't work (message "no preview available"). Curiously the Corel paint Fotos work in the preview pane. Only cdr-files aren't previewed.
In the scrapbook the cdr files are displayed correctly.
how to activate this preview function?
I use Corel Draw x6 running Vista Home Premium. In Windows Explorer, I've never been able to view CDR images as anything but icons. After reading a few forum posts, I experimented with changing the file associations to Windows Photo Gallery and then back again to CD x6. This didn't change the situation.
I've also run into a problem in Tools, Options, Global, Filters, associate. Associations with CDR and WMF won't stay. I check them, but the next time I open Filters, they are unchecked.
I just want to see a thumbnail of a CDR or WMF file before I open it in Corel Draw. I don't even have a preview pane in the open screen. Am I supposed to have a preview pane? All I have is File Name and File Format Type.
I have read several requests from others, as well as the very confusing "answers" to them. Corel's manual shows photos of before/after views in several examples, but there is no info on how to bring them up. Some of the answers here say things like "Use the window" don't know where that is "Simulate a before/after" - Are you kidding? "Click on filters" - doesn't work Use Adjust menu.
WHY does Corel show all those samples but not have a way to do it?On page 130 of the PaintShop Pro X4 manual, there is a discussion and a picture of a Before/After situation, but nowhere is there any info on how to bring it up.
