Jan 14, 2014After deleting a gap between to clips: it would be useful if the markers would be moved, too.But maybe only a feature in CC, too?

Mar 26, 2014Let's say I have 4 sequences, of which 2 are multi-cam. I go through each sequence and add my Markers. How can I locate these sequence markers without opening each sequence and looking at the Markers panel?

Jul 5, 2013If i have a clip on the timeline and i doubleclick it to bring it up in the source monitor and add markers. The markers appear in the clip in the source monitor, but they the markers don't show up on the clip in the timeline. Never had this issue with CS6 (or FCP). Is it just a setting? Or this is a bug in Premiere CC?

Jan 7, 2014Re: Adobe Master Suite CS6 and specifically PPro CS6. I am trying to find any information on using my chapter or encore markers in a sequence to create multiple videos using the markers and doing this in Media Encoder. It is a music video I want to split into 22 separate videos based on the start point for each song. It is such a natural thing to want to do this that I would at least have expected to see a comment to the contrary if it is not capable of being done in the manner I am suggesting. I would expect to be able to do a dynamic link to the sequence and be able to split the file in a fashion similar to Encore which imports the sequence as a series of chapter points I then use to create my DVD.

Jun 4, 2012Is this possible, as a for instance in Autocad 2011 .If I had an heptagan (7 sides) (had to look this up LOL) which was equal sides and I deleted one line, would I be able to move the two end lines together so it is then a Hextegon (6 sides) and they are all still equal?Or move one of the end lines to close the gap, and all the other lines move with it to keep it in proportion.
I have the BIG Autocad Bible but not knowing what the name of this process is, makes it hard for me to look it up.I can select all the lines and move them but not close the gap.

Premiere Pro :: Audio Keyframes Not Moving?
Apr 17, 2014Move my audio track (along with my video) down the timeline a bit and have the (audio) keyframes move with it.
What I'm doing exactly is:
- Select the Timeline Panel and Ctrl A (Select All)
- Then, click on my mouse on the selected area and drag/move the media down the timeline a bit
- All media moves fine BUT, the keyframes in my audio track A2 does not move
The video keyframes I have move just fine.
The audio on A2 is currently checked as Track Keyframes. I tried selecting Clip Keyframes, but no difference when moved; the keyframes stay at the same original place.
Is it even possible to do what I need to achieve ... or do I have to redo my keyframes manually as Clip Keyframes?
Premiere Pro :: Moving Files And Getting An Error After Using Locate
Apr 16, 2014I often move files over to external drives to recover space. If I go to a project and get files missing, I then use locate to find the files but when I clcik on the located file I get a file not supported error though it is the same file.

Mar 27, 2014I'm trying to stabilize some footage, but Warp Stabilizer in Premiere Pro CC seems to want to stabilize moving objects in the foreground rather than the background, creating strange effects as you can imagine.
I have seen tutorials on using Warp Stabilizer in After Effects and masking the foreground action to make Warp Stabilizer use the background as it's inputs. Is there a way to do this in Premiere Pro or even something easier (that AE method seems convoluted and some work to do).
Premiere Pro :: Moving Clips With Snap To - Why Clip Edges Ignored
Dec 14, 2013The playhead is 2 frames away from the end of a clip. With "snap to" enabled, the clip can be moved to Snap to the edge of the playhead. OR other nearby clip edges. OR go way past the playhead and drop overtop of the clip I am trying to make it Snap to. It's like PPro has a blind spot near the playhead. Feels like trying to teach someone to drive, but they can only use the pedals by mashing them to the ground or not at all.
I do not understand why it wouldn't just keep snapping from playhead to the next available clip edge.Vegas Pro does this intelligently. It even watches the markers for snap-to edges.But with Prem Pro, I have to move the clip back or to the wrong place +undo, then move the playhead, then do the move all over again.
REALLY annoying on an active timeline with 3 or 4 tracks that is only a couple of minutes long. INCREDIBLY annoying on a busy timeline of 8-20 tracks in a project 20-30 minutes long or longer.
It really bugs me that the program does actually do a better job overall, but the usability is so rough in PPro. Weird that programs like Vegas, which have a feel (and reliability) like cheap plastic toys compared to PPro also happen to have so much more intuitive UI.
I got started back with Vegas Pro 8 and PPro CS6 feels outdated by comparison just with the general navigation, ease of use and not having to fiddle with settings to make them useful.
GIMP :: Moving Selected Area Versus Moving Selection / Moving Whole Image
Mar 22, 2012I want to select part of an image with just one layer. Say I just flattened the image and have to move one part of. I select it with the rectangular select tool. It seems intuitive that I could then just move what I selected, but when I drag the selection, the selection itself moves without moving what is inside the selection.
If I then remember to click the move tool and try to move what's in the selection (seems to work sometimes, maybe when there's multiple layers?) the entire image moves.
The only way I can move part of the image over is if I make a selection and then cut it (ctrl X) then paste it.
How am I supposed to move part of the flattened image, is there a way I can set it to default to "When I select something, I can immediately drag that selected area around."

Nov 30, 2013I use another NLE and VSP X6U. One thing that I would like is timeline markers. Why? I do quite a few videos where the transitions have to be on the beat of the music. I do this with timeline markers that are placed on the 'beat' of the music. I can then move the in and out points of a video or image and it will "snap" to the position of the marker.
Also, I can label these markers, so I can use them to "remind" me of what I want to do between them.

I have took a bit of time to create our section markers. They all seemed to work great and ticked them as complete off my list till I tested them and realised they are numbered. Is there a way I can get my section to be alphabetical e.g. section A-A, B-B etc.

May 24, 2012I am putting together ROW markers using a process found on the Being Civil blog. The Marker setup shows on the Assemblies fine, I go through the corridor section editor and I can see the marker at the proper location for the ROW. The ROW marker will not show up on the section views, Not sure if I missed a step but everything seems to work up to the point of putting them on the section views.

Aug 15, 2013I seem to have a random, we'll say error for lack of a better term. I have a set of Point Styles with a Description Key set up for our survey points. When I import the points from a csv, I have 9 points that do not come in with the labels in the right spot. The label is supposed to sit next to the point style (see included image) Instead they sit 1 unit away. If you look at the included image you will see a point called COMH that is inserted correctly. Right above it is a point called WTMH that has the label coming in far to the right of the point style. Both the COMH and the WTMH have the same settings in the description key, and other than the block for the point, the same settings in the Point Style. I have completey re-written the description key, as well as re-created all the point styles, but this keeps happening. I have even re-created the block drawing and redefined the block in the dwt as well as an existing drawing.
P.S. I have added an image of the description key coding as well as the point style for the COMH andthe WTMH.

Jul 3, 2012We have recently upgraded our lab where I work to CS6. Previously we were using Photoshop 7.0. The issue I have relates to an external piece of software that queues prints to a large format photographic printer. This software is, picky, about the JPEGS it receives.
The JPEG's saved out of CS6 do not process through this software. The JPEG's saved out of Photoshop 7.0 do. I can strip the 'APP markers' from the CS6 JPEG's using Irfanview and this resolves the issues with the CS6 files. This is not good workflow.
I have tried creating a blank Photoshop file in CS6 at the relevant dimensions and pasting the image data on to it then saving as a JPEG in CS6. This suffers the same problem. So I believe the issue is related to the extra data put in the JPEG headers from CS6.
I have as yet been unable to find a way to reduce / eliminate this extra data.
From what I can find on adobe.com they don't really offer any support? I am in Australia and there is, from what I can see, no one employed by adobe to provide support. $1200 worth of Photoshop and no support!!! Good work if you can get it .

I don't want to create a whole disk but I want to create a video file like mp4 that includes the chapter markers as part of the video file. I can't seem to create a video output file that also includes the chapter markers. Is this possible in video studio x4 or am I forced to create a DVD or blu ray disk with a menu structure in order to preserve the chapters in the resultant output?
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Profile Markers Do Not Line Up
Sep 11, 2012I have a profile view with the existing ground profile shown. The alignment the profile is referencing was stretched at the front and now the profile markers do not line up with the profile line. The profile line updated as it should have, but the markers did not.
