Feb 3, 2014How do I add Marker Title to be visible on the Markers panel? Seems like this should be trivial, but I don't see a quick way to do this.

Premiere Pro :: Go To CLIP Marker In Timeline?
Mar 5, 2014In CS6, is it possible to navigate between clip markers in the timeline.
I'm talking about markers placed on actual clips, not markers placed on the sequence timeline.
I'd like to have a shortcut to navigate between clip markers but that shortcut seems to only work on markers placed on the sequences timeline, not on the clip.
Yes, you can open the clip in the source monitor, then jump to clip markers for that one clip but that's not what I'm after.
I want to mark my clips in the source monitor, bring all those clips to one timeline, then navigate between the markers placed on the actual clip.
Premiere Pro :: Change The Marker Text Pop Up Color?
Dec 20, 2013When I hover over a marker there's a text blub that pops up in the source monitor. The color is dark blue and it's difficut to see what the text says against some footage.
Is there a way to change the color to something lighter?

Feb 19, 2014Is it possible to prevent timeline markers from responding to a ripple delete? On a film project it's not an issue, but when I do broadcast work, a lot of times I need to hit specfic moments in time, like 28:30 for a half hour show. I'll add a timeline comment mark to that point in time, but later, due to a lot or ripple deleting, that marker has shifted drastically. Right now the only work around I found is to add an ajustment later on an unused track and lock the track. But this gets to be a pain if I need multiple markers.

I have found the video transitions to be very choppy, so I've opted to control the opacity fade of each individual title, creating keyframes that move from 0%-100% then back 100%-0%. This simulates a nice fade from black, fade to black effect. However, when i do this all of the text in my titles pixelates.

Feb 23, 2014Just opened a Premiere project and went to edit a title. Although the title still shows up as a purple clip, and is still in the same location in the project explorer, it is no longer able to be edited, but instead plays like an AVI file. Also, it seems the underlying video and title have been merged into one clip on the timeline instead of two overlapping clips.
Screenshot below: See in the project explorer where the title files have been converted, plus in the timeline how all videos are compressed on Track 1 as a newly created avi.

Mar 12, 2012I'm using Civil 3D 2012 and I'm having a hard time to turn off a maker that I didn't recognize in 2011. While having all my Osnap tools turned off, I will make a Fillet between 2 polylines, but an automatic yellow marker keeps poping up on the screen (See PDF attachement).
Is there anyway to turn the yellow marker off?

Jun 21, 2004We are scanning 9x9" B/W aerial photos as RGB, 24bit, 600 DPI on an epson 1640XL on a Dell precision workstation (1GB memory, P4 3GHz(i think)). we scan, and save as a JPG, without incident.
when we try to open it, we get the error - "Could not open X.jpg because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found."
I tried reinstalling PS, as well as the twain scan driver. no luck.
we tried scanning on another computer. the fact that we get the same error makes me think it might be the photos themselves, but what could be in an image that would cause this sort of corruption?
it only happens with certain photos, but there doesnt seem to be anything particular about the photos that would make it happen.

Mar 18, 2013I believe I've found a bug with marker styles. I found this while editing a profile style. Under my profile style I have the Point of Vertical Intersection set to PI Point for the marker style.
Here is the screenshot of the marker style for the plan view.
Here is the screenshot of the marker style for the profile view with part of my profile shown next to it. Notice how the marker color is different in the profile than what it's set to. It's also not changing layers. It seems that the profile setting for the marker style display doesn't actually work. It takes the settings for the plan view and ignores the profile display style.

If I add a chapter it will come up with the thumbnail and the time under it But unlike the earlier versions where you could simple change the title and thumbnail to what you want X5 seems to have hidden this feature very well.

Jul 4, 2011on the overview download page on VS pro x3, i see there are a few title packages (and fonts + and styles) i can download , but when I click "now download" it goes back to the normal screen where i can edit videos. other title and fonts i can use after downloading some dont. maybe there in some sort of cache or so because i think to remember that i used to download it once but tried to install a few at the same time and this don't function. and the next start of VS pro x3 a screen pops up with some things(i think the titles) and i don't know what i have clicked.
