You know those "warp a celebrity" flash or java games where you click on part of the celebrity's face and drag the mouse, and the image warps? Can this sort of thing be done to your images in photoshop 6.0? (That's the version I have)
If this can't be done in Photoshop 6.0, does anyone know of a simple freeware program that I can use to warp images "celebrity warp" style?
Trying to create a header. I created the buttons in a separate psd file and when I click and drag the buttons into the other canvas (my header) I'm having trouble when I click ctrl + alt + shift to duplicate the new buttons. Some layers are getting left behind. Should I flatten or merge the layers of the button before I click and drag the button into the other canvas (header)?

CS6 Pen tool, clicking and dragging on an existing path should not change the angle on the adjacent radius handles. It should only dynamically adjust the length of the existing radius handles, based on which direction you drag. It should only affect that one segment and not affect the bordering angles. I've been pathing with Adobe products for 25 years and this should not change now. I want to be able to fine tune ONE line segment without affecting its neighboring segments. The "new" behavior should only occur with a modifier. If the Mothership deems this is the only way to do this moving forward, at LEAST give your long-standing customers a modifier, such as the shift key to enable us to keep working as we have been for decades.

View 6 Replies View RelatedToday I went to puppet warp a layer, and as soon as I placed the first pin, the image part of the puppet warp disappeared - only the mesh was visible. I can't figure out where to put pins or adjust my layer if I can't see the actual image!Â

Have been using puppet warp with my current system config for a long time with no issues, and had, in fact, puppet warped several things just a few minutes prior with no issues. I have tried after restarting, using hardly any system resources, and with all other layers visible, and hidden. No matter what I try, as soon as I place the first pin, only the mesh remains and I can't see what I'm trying to warp at all. !
Does anyone have any advice on how to warp a logo to fit on a shot glass? I can't seem to get it so that it will curve and the writing still look straight on the glass.

As a very crude geometric example if I have a 5-pointed star and want to transpose those 5 defined points onto an ellipse with 5 similarly defined points, what might be your approach be to execute this function. A vastly more complex situation, but one that continually is used it graphic arts applications would be to morph or transpose the spacial dimensions of one image into those of a second image which is assigned the same set.
in cs5 to drag a 3d shape or object into a new document or another image was done by the move tool.what tool in cs6 extended replaces the move tool to drag images into another file or image.

It could be the biggest image in the universe and it shows up so small to where I have to use Free Transform every single time. Even the eraser is so small that I can't see it. Now this has stopped working for an unknown reason about 2-3 months ago after updating. I'll drag the image over the application icon on the dock as before, but then nothing opens. As a result, my workflow is now more inefficient and inconvenient. Â
Why does an image darken while dragging the window within Photoshop CS4?
Once the window is released with the mouse/pen, it snaps back to how it was?
Explained further:
Open an image in Photoshop CS4.
Click & hold the grey title bar at the top of the image.
Move it around within the Photoshop window.
It noticably "pops" - darkens.
Release the mouse/pen, image snaps back to how it was.

I've put a sample point on a section of the image, numbers don't change.
I've tried disabling "Open GL Drawing"
- Doesn't happen but...
- Image appears darker as per when dragging with "Open GL Drawing enabled.
- Numbers remain the same on the sample point.
Hope this makes sense.

problem:if i drag an image on my secondary (image editing) monitor the images saturation/color changes while i drag it. on mouse release it goes back to normal.this doesnt happen on my primary (system etc) monitor.yes i could probably workaround making my editing monitor my primary monitor, but i don't want to, because i want it free of windows bars and similar rubbish.
Using CS6 Mac, I am un successful in dragging and dropping a scanned image from PS to Illustrator.In the past i was able to do this with CS3 PC.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm writing because after reinstall the Mountain Lion (10.8.4), I realized that dragging an image from Chrome (29.0. 1547. 62) to the dock icon Photoshop CS6 the icon is not active and therefore the program does not open with the image, I tried with firefox (23.0.1) and the dock icon photoshop is animated and open photoshop but show the following message "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." I tried with SAFARI and all fine, without problems. I note that before reinstallation and after doing a clean install (I do a back up, I formated the hard drive and install the mountain lion) this option worked perfect.

I check the following path ~ / Library / Caches / TemporaryItems that is where store the pictures as you take the browser and when stored in the folder but never open photoshop, I want to emphasize that opening photoshop and open a blank canvas, I can drag and drop (drag and drop) and the image appears, but with the dock icon anymore.

I have many theories but also not solve:

1. It's a permissions problem.
2. Any option is not enabled (OS X or photoshop) or not installed
3. Some kind of incompatibility, but again and worked without problems.
I have Photoshop CS. When I try to use the type tool by clicking on it and then clicking on the image (to place the cursor), the background of the iamge turns a pinkish colour. My foreground and background colours are both white. My settings are default ones.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I am in an image, selecting an area with the polygon lasso tool, every time I click a point, the image blanks out and does not redraw. I am left with my pologon selection lines and a white image where the photo should be. The only way to get the image back is to force it to scroll. I have to extend the tool off one side of the image or another to make it scroll. Otherwise the screen does not redraw. I am forced to work with my images in a window instead of fullscreen to ensure that I have part of the image to scroll to when the image blanks out. It is doing this with every click of the polygon lasso tool. Needless to say, this is maddening! Has anyone seen this behavior before? I am running Adobe Photoshop CS3 on Windows XP and the program is up to date. I have two gigs of ram and have moved up the memory allocated to Photoshop from half to two thirds. I have stopped having other programs opened. I also tried turning off the preference for the 3D graphics acceleration. View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm refining some SVG files, imported into GIMP as paths. I added numerous guides on the images and drag anchors to the guides. All the paths consist of straight lines only. The problem is that on some anchors GIMP performs the "drag curve" operation instead of the "drag anchor". As a result, my straight lines become broken (curved).
The only solution I've found so far is to apply maximum zoom level, say 400%, and repeat the dragging in this resolution. This makes GIMP work properly, at least, I'm able to "drag anchor" as expected. But switching back and forth to the 400% zoom level is a bit annoying and inconvenient.
Is there a better way to "say" GIMP that "dragging anchor" is the "dragging anchor", not "dragging curve"?

Since the majority of my plugins only work on 32bit I find using 64bit unfortunately useless. Hence I wold like to know if it is possible to right-click on asn image with explorer and have it open the 32bit version.

I got single clip in desktop and it got an alpha embedded. If i drag that clip into the cfx , the clip will be interpreted correctly where alpha will be recognized. The problem in action is when i drag into action schematic, the alpha is ignored Smoke should know if there's alpha embedded then by default it should use it. ANother problem is when in media list , i add new media then click the clip twice (to grab F and M from the same clip), the result : i got blank alpha. Again it should load the alpha while there's alpha embedded . I think , this should become the dafault behaviour to deal with alpha. Although loading this clip in cfx schematic will solve the problem, i think the action still need to be fixed.
Also it should be cool feature if i can drag the clip from library and drop it in media list , and it will replace the media of the selected item in media list.
I'm having trouble importing images in Illustrator CS6. Dragging from finder doesn't work, nor does the "place" option. When opening an image in illustrator, all i get is a blank document.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen i import my RAW files into LR 4 from my Nikon D90 the images appear to have decent color saturation and contrast. Once i actually click on the individual files, it says loading and the image becomes very flat and dull looking (bad contrast, saturation). I turned off the option to auto adjust for camera specs but I am still having the issue. Does this have something to do with the color space? How can I get it to stop auto adjusting my files?
