I recently upgraded to PS-CS4 from CS3 and notice that I can only view one image on my screen. Is there a way to view more than one image on the screen at the same time? I cannot seem to find a way to change this feature.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using GIMP 2.6.11 on Windows XP. I use "ALT + PRINT" to capture the active program's screen and "Edit -> Paste as -> New Image" to create a new image from the captured screen.
The problem is that the new image always shows extra lines (about 3-pixel wide) on the left side and clips the right side. I haven't verified it pixel-by-pixel, but it looks like what's clipped on the right side is displayed on the left side.
But the problem doesn't happen when I do "File -> Create -> Screen Shot -> Grab a single window"; it shows up nicely.
Also even when I use "ALT + PRINT" to capture, the problem doesn't happen when I paste it to a different program, such as Windows Paint or even WordPad; it happens only when I do "Paste as New Image" in GIMP.
My documents will not show up properly in the large screen, but they show in the layer screens. it does not mattter if it is a new psd or an old one.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.

All of them work on windows media player but I've heard that a lot of it has to work on QuickTime.
I've already updated the program but it still won't work. A friend of mine also told me that it might be the format of the video. Is there anything I could do to fix this?
When a new blank file is created at given dimensions ( say 6 x 4 inches) the actual dimensions on screen and the ruler appear approx. 1.333 times smaller than the actual size ( 4.5 x 3 inches ) .How can I correct this?

How do you get Lightroom to show the preset used on the image when viewing in lightroom and when you print, how do you get the preset name included on the print so you can tell which preset is on each print? At present I have to note the preset down and then write each preset name on each photo to show I know what was used.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use the develop module in lr for the first time, I normally use Breezebrowser. in Library mode.I have quick develop options, but in the develop module nothing shows on the right hand side of the screen at all.I have went into presents and ticked all the boxes but the only way I have options to develop are from the library module and that does not show the straigten option which i want. I have hit the D button until its worn out. This has been like this since I installed lr5, I used lr3 previously but only as a method to export images to zenfolio did not use anything apart from import and export. What do I need to do to get the options for the Develop module to show on screen? I have also hit the T for Toolbar several hundred times with no difference.

If I have multiple windows open then the tabs at the bottom of the screen correctly show the active window.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed Lightroom 4. In the develop module, any adjustments will not show in the photo on the screen. The photo frequently will not load onto the screen. If I select crop mode, the photo disappears and the screen turns to gray. If I select before/after, the screen turns to gray. I have read the manual multiple times and have watched the video. I do not see any step that I am omitting or doing incorrectly. Should I uninstall & reinstall the program, or what?

I am making a video in Nero Vision 10 and need to cut out the screen of a tv so that I can layer the TV over an image/video so it looks as though it is on the screen. I enclose a screenshot of the project. 'Transform-tools-crop' only cuts in straight lines so I wonder which device I should use which can cut out an odd bespoke shape? You can see in the uploaded image from the project how the image currently cannot fill the frame without covering it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
I have been using some tools successfully, but now when I try to use the Healing, Tool, Patch, Type and some others, the image drops off the screen as soon as I place the tool onto the screen. Then I cannot work on the image.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor no apparent reason, some of the images on my computer screen are coming up in odd, bright colors similar to a negative, but not complete. It happens to images I open on independent web sites and images stored on my computer.
When I open some images in Photoshop5, it asks if I want to discard the embedded profile. If I answer yes, the image displays fine. If I answer No, the image colors are distorted. This problem persists on my laptop screen and on the monitor attached to laptop.
I need to silkscreen an image, but can only do one solid color at a time. I'll have a black t-shirt, so that's one color, then red, green, pink and silver to screen onto the shirt. I can only do a max of 4 colors on one background.

How to break this down into 5 cells of color in Photoshop (CS4)? Then I can silkscreen it.
When I select to resize an image the box that opens has drifted off my screen, and it has slowly risen upward more and more. I noticed this about 2 weeks ago and couldnt grab the top bar to bring it down as it was already out of sight. Now everytime I go to resize something it drifts a tad farther, and a tad farther until now it's virtually impossible to see anything and I've been using the blind tab method for making adjustments.
Below are some pictures to demonstrate what exactly is happening. The first one shows where I'm going to select what, the second shows where the box is after it opens.
The third shows me picking a color, and the fourth shows how this problem has spread to that box as well.

I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. I must have hit something but there not showing up again

What I want to do is make part of an image a hotspot and set it so when the user rolls over that hotspot, another little image pops up in it's place, possibly with a link. Is this possible with either programs?
