I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. I must have hit something but there not showing up again
View 2 RepliesI have 9 copies of the same image with a different develop preset on each one so to compare. How do you get Lightroom to show the preset used on the image when viewing in lightroom and when you print, how do you get the preset name included on the print so you can tell which preset is on each print? At present I have to note the preset down and then write each preset name on each photo to show I know what was used.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to print in Elements 11, after clicking "Print/Page Setup/Presets/Show Presets", the box freezes. Clicking Cancel or OK does not work. I then have to Force Quit Elements to clear it. Apple say that it is a problem with Elements. Using the same procedure in other applications, clicking Cancel or OK does work.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI finally installed lightroom 3 after many, many months of it sitting on my desk. I have been watching tutorials, and playing around with it, and I have found that the default presets are only on the right side panel in library. On the left panel in develop the heading presets shows up but when I click on the triangle nothing shows up under them. I did see a question already on here to right click on the heading and check it which I did a few times just to see if it would work and nothing.

Do you know which folder they should be in (indise the Lightroom Presets folder)

On both LR1.4 and LR2, the develop presets always showed along the left navigation bar (antique photo, etc.). I don't use them often, but I like to have them handy. A couple months ago they disappeared from LR2 navigation bar and I just downloaded LR3 and the develop presets are in a named folder but I can't figure out how to get them to show up on the left navigation bar again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I click to show the presets folder in Lightroom 5.2 Beta preferences it wants to launch Path Finder to show me the files. I no longer own a current license for PathFinder and want Lightroom to use the normal Finder application. I do not have Path Finder even installed any longer and so clicking the button does nothing at all.

Well I finally got my presets downloaded, by importing on the left side of the screen.. which is great.
But I still need to dowload my adjustment brushes...
When I go to preferences, and go to "show lightroom presets folder"IT WONT OPEN......nothing comes up.. I click and click and click.. I restarted LR, over and over.. nothing comes up..
I have LR3. Following function doesn't work for me: there is no preview in Navigator for presets.
Should be: " To preview the effects of a preset on your photo, move the pointer over it in the Presets panel and view the effects in the Navigator panel."
Previously shown folders from Pictures (iMac / Mavericks) on left side, no longer show up. When selecting Import, they show up on the lower right side. LR5 will not let me select from library so that I can work with the folders.

View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I went into my presets folder because I was searching for a particular brush, and I noticed a little grey overlay icon with a white line in a 45 degree angle. The little icons sit on top of the presets icons, and they are located to the bottom left hand corner. I tried to search what that means, with no luck. Just in case, I even checked everything with my antivirus, but it doesn't seem to be a virus. What is that? (I'm running Adobe CS6, in a Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit pc)

Then I want to fill up that inch-wide column with a particular color. The end result being that I will have an inch-wide bar of color running vertically down the left side of my project.

When LR5.3 opened at the end of the process, all of my Import, Export, or Develop presets were gone. all of those folders are empty (for example C:UsersmePicturesLightroomLightroom SettingsDevelop PresetsUser Presets shows "This folder is empty"), and when i open LR 4.4 (the previous install), the presets are gone as well.
