Nov 21, 2012I'm on CS6 on a year old iMac. Plenty of RAM and memory. For some reason all of a sudden, the tools on the left hand side of the screen won't work. All I get is the hand. What I hit or what happened. I've re-started PS, the computer and reset Bridge. How to reverse what happened?

Oct 10, 2013I have been using various versions of VideoStudio for years to successfully edit videos for courtroom presentations, but this is the first time I have been asked to create a video using two videos playing simultaneously or a side by side image. The first video is a surveillance camera video of a traffic accident, and the second video is a video of a reconstruction of the accident recorded later on the same surveillance system. Even though we can play the videos separately in court, the prosecutor is asking whether or not there is a way to combine both videos into one final product, thereby showing the actual accident side by side with the recreation.

Then I want to fill up that inch-wide column with a particular color. The end result being that I will have an inch-wide bar of color running vertically down the left side of my project.
I know this is probably really easy to do but it's been a long time since I had a course in Photoshop.

Feb 9, 2013I have LR 4.3, Camera Raw 7.3
Until yesterday I was able to delete pictures, using the contextual menu or the delete key. I got the message asking me if I wanted to delete them from disk or from the catalog.
But now, that popup message doesn't appear. The picture is not removed, just nothing happens.
I checked the logs and this is the error message:
performCommandDesc could not perform command ag.library.expandAllStacks (Command was disabled.).
I uninstalled LR moving it to the trash. Then I deleted the com.adobe.Lightroom4.plist and I also removed the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom.
I rebbooted the machine and installed it again. But the issue is still there, with the same error message.
I verified the disk and checked file permissions.
I also tried to use another catalog from a backup.
Nothing, same error.
One anusual thing that I did before the error was to install the "HDRsoft Merge to 32-bit HDR Plug-in for Lightroom - Version 1.0"
I removed it but the error was still there. After the re-install I didnd't install that plug-in again so if it was the problem, it shouldn't be after the clean installation that I did again.

Nov 2, 2012how do i get the left side of my menu bar in photoshop elements 6, to show the edit, file, view, find, window and help buttons. Only the camera and little house show up. The only thing that shows is a tiny arrow which is barely visible. All was okay the first time I installed to another computer (which has since crashed). The reinstalling of photoshop the second time is causing the above problem.

Nov 9, 2013I recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.

With Photoshop CS 6, as soon as I start to drag, the cursor changes to a hand cursor. I have look at all of the system options and nothing seems to affect it so I have to assume it is something wrong with Photoshop CS 6.
