View 3 RepliesThis time, my color palette that was on the right side of my screen is gone. How do I get it back on there?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWell as much as I do design work for customers for tee shirts,I never had to do color separation, for the screens.I’m wondering how do you do this? ( how do you separate colors in corel, for screen printing) .
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I cannot get the color management screen to open where you see the printer, monitor, and other things that are located there.
I tried clicked on tools -color management but it opens document setting and that's it.
I am using X-15 and just not sure what I am doing wrong.
How to adjust the color display on the monitor screen between photoshop and coreldraw to display the same color display
View 14 Replies View RelatedI recently installed GraphicsSuite x6 (with SP4) on a new Surface Pro 2 tablet running on Windows 8.1. My command bar buttons are not displaying properly. Depending on whether I have the open on the tablet screen or an external monitor, the toolbar buttons will not be displayed. This also affects some (but not all) dockers. For example the buttons and labels on the Align and Distribute docker are not displayed, regardless of which display I am using. This issue affects both CorelDraw and Photo-Paint.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running CD X5 on a windows 7 machine. I had a custom "my Toolbar" set up wit all my most used tools and now suddenly it's gone! It is turned on in the menu (checked). I have unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. I have re-booted my machine and still nothing. why it's gone but I can't seem to get it back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to enter a value into one of the CorelDRAW X6 toolbar edit fields, then moving the mouse pointer away from the toolbar in order to see what I'm about to enter, CorelDRAW X6 takes the focus away from that edit field.See her for an example to reproduce the problem:
var video_8143bd82692c4abebed036cbf4afd70b = new jeroenwijering.Player(document.getElementById('video_8143bd82-692c-4abe-bed0-36cbf4afd70b'), URL.....
And in the 157 page Macro PDF (really, did it need to be this long? How about an easy-command sheet), it says you can use the key command Ctrl+Shift+R to start recording... Well, that brings up the ruler.
I use Macros a lot in Excel (I record the commands that I want, then tweak in the editor), so I get how they are supposed to work - but I'm no programmer, and without the ability to record, I'm completely handcuffed. This really shouldn't be 1% as difficult as it has been
I've been battling with moving tool bars between my CorelX4 PC's. I think I've finally figured out how to do it so far. Export/Import RecordedMacro.bas 'First' and make sure it's the same name on both PC's as importing a new one renumbers the *.bas file. I think this made a difference anyway.
Export/Import Workspace Toolbar next. I found if I imported the workspace first, I couldn't get the new toolbar to work.
Now, if I want to edit the colors of the toolbar as shown below, the current color doesn't show in the editing window, nor do I have any color options.
I would like to have a quick way to access some T-Shirt proof images quickly.
What is the best way? Toolbar, docker?
I saw the scrapbook docker, but then I have to scroll through all my files. Not sure if it remembers a folder on open and close..
I have a tool bar for all the macros that I use regularly.
While we can add shortcut icon onto the tool bar by simply drag and drop, I couldn't figure out the way to remove icon from the tool bar.

it's possible to crop one side of a 3D image & "FLATTEN" it with Corel Draw ?
Eg: The attached image shows a 3D Pyramid. Is it possible to crop out the side (with drawings) & "FLATTEN" it ?
So that i can simply print it out to serve as a template design.

How to tweak this page bar scrolls to right side edge, so that space can be provided for the pages. I have moved to the extreme right, but after restarting it is occupying all the space. Put that one to extreme right or even by removing also no problem for me, since i use hand tool very effectively than this.
Even the vertical bar as well (to remove or hide at least)
what I do is design one half of my design first. When I like what I have I duplicate that part of the design and then mirror it horizontally. I then save the file. Close out of the program. Turn it back on the next day, and some of my gradients are now messed up on the side that was mirrored.
As you can see the left snippet is how it should look, the right mirrored snippet's gradients should match but the don't. Some of the gradient. (not all of them though). It's really bizarre. It doesn't happen often, the only times I can remember it happening is when working on really large complex designs. Oh also, it is effecting gradient fills and transparency linear gradients.
I have seen a reference to the auto close gaps button on the toolbar of CorelDraw.I need something like that, because whatever I do I cannot fill my lineart with the smartfill tool, even though I have closed all the gaps, as far as i can tell.
I am wondering if there is a problem with my Coreldraw X5 Software.I am using it on an iMac with Parallels.
I installed Corel Draw 12 on a new machine with Vista HP, and I cannot git rid of the registration nag screen. I lost my registration info a long time ago, and have tried the "never register" option, but the nag screen keeps coming up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to uninstall X5 to install it again. Because when I try and any of the programs connected to it I get blank screens. I'm completely dumbfounded.. When I click on it to "UNINSTALL" I also get the green bar for about 2 seconds, but the box is completely blank. No buttons or anything.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to apply a color to selected objects without having to search for the color in the color palette. So say if I am working with an image that has multiple colors but want to use only one of the colors in that image, is there a way to apply it without having to create or add it to the palette.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI opened my CorelDRAW X3 to find that the colours on screen look corrupted.
I use the "Optimised for professional output setting" in Colour Management which I never change.
Now, rather than looking fairly close to printed colours, they look very bright... too bright! (see screen shot)
I think that i have had this problem before and i ended up uninstalling and reinstalling. I would like to avoid this if i can as have have a lot of custom settings that i would have to re-do.
I’d like to copy an object a distance that I specify on screen. I can see how to copy a specified number of inches, but that is very awkward. You have to measure the distance (horizontal and vertical) and then input the numbers, then click “apply”. Is there a simpler way to do it?
Or is there a way to paste at a specified location? If I do an Edit>Copy then Edit>Paste, it pastes the new object on top of the old one.
I suspect that there is no way to do this, but it seemed so logical....How can I rotate the actual view of a page in DRAW? I have these box designs that I get handed, done somewhere else on the planet, with changes to various panels that are shown as upside down or at 90 degrees to the original page. I have to squint and cough backwards to read them.
Of course, for text, I can do an edit, but usually the text has been converted to curves many revisions ago. I looked, but could find no option for simply rotating the view, which would solve the problem.Surely there is a view "object" that gets filtered through the various existing View options, meaning that a simple set of transforms should also be able to rotate the entire pageview.
I do know how to kludge it, by selecting ALL and then rotating everything around a center point, but it requires than everything be selectable, and I use layers a LOT, for keeping the background frozen, for example. So, to get to a simple view of a small section on some sideways box tab, I have to unlock everything, select everything, rotate, edit, and then rotate back again and relock all the locked layers. It would make life simpler to have rotation as an option in View. Unless there's a better way???(And, no, the monitor is even harder to twist around.)
after installing the update to 6.2 on my spare system coreldraw just starts with it's welcome screen in any browser (standard-browser: ie, firefox or chrome) instead of corel itself. therefore i can't work with coreldraw anymore - even cannot close it. have to kill process in task-manager.
no uninstalling possible because of the same failure: uninstall opens a browser. so no uninstall possible.
no new installation from dvd possible, because the installer also opens an browser-window instead of an installer.
system: vista64 sp2
When you open the welcome screen and you choose "New from Template" the welcome screen in the background is missing the left side of the welcome screen.
And when you close the "new from template" window, it stays missing and you cannot choose any of your recent "open documents".
P.S. I have already tried the infamous "F4"
I'm receiving PDF files for screen printing. How do I convert to Corel Draw in order to print?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI've been using these two programs for some time with no problem. I recently upgraded some of my adobe software and now when I try to open CorelDRAW of Photopaint, there is no welcome screen anymore and I can't click on anything.
Is there something conflicting with the welcome screen (flash or something that the welcome screen uses) that perhaps was installed with one of the adobe products, maybe? Not sure if it matters but I updated adobe dreamweaver and fireworks. Both programs are unusable now with this loading problem.
I am interested to know why with Corel Draw the quality of many of my images and text looks very poor on the screen, but when I publish to PDF they are how they should be. Is there any way of changing this so I see on the screen what the real quality looks like?
