I'm running CD X5 on a windows 7 machine. I had a custom "my Toolbar" set up wit all my most used tools and now suddenly it's gone! It is turned on in the menu (checked). I have unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. I have re-booted my machine and still nothing. why it's gone but I can't seem to get it back.
View 1 RepliesI've been battling with moving tool bars between my CorelX4 PC's. I think I've finally figured out how to do it so far. Export/Import RecordedMacro.bas 'First' and make sure it's the same name on both PC's as importing a new one renumbers the *.bas file. I think this made a difference anyway.
Export/Import Workspace Toolbar next. I found if I imported the workspace first, I couldn't get the new toolbar to work.
Now, if I want to edit the colors of the toolbar as shown below, the current color doesn't show in the editing window, nor do I have any color options.
I recently installed GraphicsSuite x6 (with SP4) on a new Surface Pro 2 tablet running on Windows 8.1. My command bar buttons are not displaying properly. Depending on whether I have the open on the tablet screen or an external monitor, the toolbar buttons will not be displayed. This also affects some (but not all) dockers. For example the buttons and labels on the Align and Distribute docker are not displayed, regardless of which display I am using. This issue affects both CorelDraw and Photo-Paint.

And in the 157 page Macro PDF (really, did it need to be this long? How about an easy-command sheet), it says you can use the key command Ctrl+Shift+R to start recording... Well, that brings up the ruler.
I use Macros a lot in Excel (I record the commands that I want, then tweak in the editor), so I get how they are supposed to work - but I'm no programmer, and without the ability to record, I'm completely handcuffed. This really shouldn't be 1% as difficult as it has been

While we can add shortcut icon onto the tool bar by simply drag and drop, I couldn't figure out the way to remove icon from the tool bar.

X5 Recently have begun missing parts of print out. Tried to duplicate but appears completely random.
Output to both Full colour laser and Wide Format printers will miss either text or part of objects. Today printed the text but not the text effects. Initially closed and reopened, rebooted, However this has become a now daily feature so regardless tried reprint from the same screen so next print has everything included.
Very costly and time consuming - print preview shows all correct but output is not the same.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have created a custom docker and I need to find a way to have the docker refresh when the document.save event is fired. The docker retrieves custom document properties saved within the file and displays the vales in the docker. I have it currently set to update when i switch between documents or when the document is closed, the docker is cleared of all the values. I still , to this day, can not figure out how to refresh automatically after I save a document.

Any way to make a custom font menu in coreldraw. By that I mean a shorter font menu that doesnt have all the fonts available on the computer. Ny work PC probably has 2000 or so fonts on it. I really only use 10 or so on a regular basis. It would be awesome if I could have my own custom font list that I could load, and still be able to get to the complete list somehow if I need it. Maybe something like a folder in the font menu?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm running on a fairly new Dell Studio laptop computer with Windows 7 Pro as the OS.The font was installed using the normal install font directions.
As stated above the font works fine in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Word.It shows as installed in Corel Draw font menu but will not print when trying to type, the curser just blinks.
I also have 2 desktop computers running Windows XP Pro OS where the font works perfectly in all programs.
Using CorelDraw X6.1
Having issues with exporting files to an .eps format - using "selected only" some of the objects that I have selected do not get exported - ie. they are missing from the .eps file altogether.
On top of that, most of my colours get washed out to a grey scale - I do work in spot colours.
I have tried f8, and tried reinstalling.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've designed a simple graphic in X6 and printed directly to Roland ecosol printer. My black text doesn't show up on the print. I've spent a few hours and a lot of paper trying to figure this out.
The black text that isn't showing up is designed to be on top of a yellow box. When I print as intended, the text doesn't show. However, when I move the text off the box, it is printed and visible. Is it a document setup, color management, or print settings issue? Or none of the above?
I paid a lot of money for this software which was supposed to come with a library of clipart, photos, etc. I have exactly ZERO and I cannot get any support on why that is.
How do I get the clipart I paid for?
I prints photos with some text overlaid, like title of image, copyright etc.
I select all objects and save the design then print, and sometimes only the text prints! the image/photo does not print.
well that is kind of annoying to have a 12x36 panorama canvas with only the text and not the picture, since the canvas is ruined and costs about $12 a print.
When you open the welcome screen and you choose "New from Template" the welcome screen in the background is missing the left side of the welcome screen.
And when you close the "new from template" window, it stays missing and you cannot choose any of your recent "open documents".
P.S. I have already tried the infamous "F4"
My computer with CORELDRAWX5 got damaged, and I purchased a new one and upgraded to X6.
My problem is that when opening my previous files on my new computer, I have alot of MISSING FONTS, that I use regularly and do not currently have. How do I retrieve these fonts?
I just upgraded to X5 (from X3). Many of the fonts that I have in my used are missing. I went through the Bit Stream Font Navigator and cannot located them there either. Many of my existing customer files require those fonts for use in their logos...etc. I also went to myfonts as indicated and did not see them there.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got a new system installed corel draw fresh, loaded all my gms's , imported workspace , great all work as before all my menus are nice and active...,
However my custom gradients have disappeared..., it took me a while to set up certain gradients and I removed lots of the useless default ones that were there preset in the previously installed corel draw.
I accessed my old hard drive and found the gradient preset file however when I copied and replaced with the old gradient file the gradient data is not there....

How to get this font to work in their Corel Draw programs. I use this font for 90% of my business so you can see why it's so important that I get it to work with Corel Draw 11 & Windows 7.
I have a custom palette set on two machines. If I save a file on one and then open it on the other, the second machine does not recognize the custom colors and leaves the object blank. I can click on the palette and correct this but can I set it so that the colors will load correctly when I open the files.

Coreldraw can already do what I need using the PageNumbering macro but I have to enter the individual settings for each template every time. I simply want the included PageNumbering macro but with the option to save 5 presets. If possible I would like the option of saving the presets to a file that can be shared with other workstations so I don't have to manually recreate.

On one layout, some items on a printable layer do not appear on the Print Preview. The page contains a monochrome bitmap, some text and a curve. Only the bitmap appears on the print preview, yet everything prints.
It doesn't happen with every job. Not a big deal on this job, but there will soon come a time when I need to know what will and will not print.
I have Corel DRAW Home & Student Suite X5. It appears not to include the Docker "Object Coordinates" although both the video and Help files include prescriptions for using it.Corel Support insist that this docker is present in this edition of X5 and instruct me to reset the application defaults (F8).F8 does not reveal the missing docker, nor does a complete uninstall/reinstall. It seems to me that "Object Coordinates actually is NOT there.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using MS Windows System 7 and printing onto two networked printers, a Lexmark Pro205 and a HPD7460, It seems that when I have finished setting up a page of texts and inserts for a publication the page looks good on the screen and on the PRINT PREVIEW window of either PRINTER software but some of it does not print. The left side of the two column page prints OK but the right side is blank after the first line. The text that flows from page to page to page seems to be alright and the inserts that are not part of the flow text that has been inserted as wrap around text (surround) prints.The is simple missing. The next page of the same article is doing the same thing.
I originally had this problem in another document on the HP but not the Lexmark. Now I have it on both printers in this document.
I was wondering if there are control characters that the printers are acting upon during the print function. Can one see all the control functions on a page before printing or at will?
