CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 :: Missing Docker Object Coordinates

I have Corel DRAW Home & Student Suite X5. It appears not to include the Docker "Object Coordinates" although both the video and Help files include prescriptions for using it.Corel Support insist that this docker is present in this edition of X5 and instruct me to reset the application defaults (F8).F8 does not reveal the missing docker, nor does a complete uninstall/reinstall. It seems to me that "Object Coordinates actually is NOT there.

One Question:
I noticed that in CDX4 under the tranformations docker we had the "apply to duplicate" feature under the rotate option. However, I do not see it in CDX5.
Is this a change that was made to CDX5? Or am I missing something when I loaded CDX5 to my computer?

I have just switched from X5 to X6. I am almost convinced that before, when I made a change on for instance an objects size in the Transformations docker, I then pressed Enter, and that was the same as using the mouse and clicking Apply. This doesn't work in X6, I have to lift my hand and use the mouse. Is there a way to fix this?

After installing the latest patch, I read that ... "You can press Enter to apply transformations from the Transformations docker".
Here's my issue...when I draw a box as shown, I try to do a "PROPORTIONAL" size change by using the 'enter' key. No luck. I then try to do a 'non-proportional scale', it works fine.

I have created a custom docker and I need to find a way to have the docker refresh when the document.save event is fired. The docker retrieves custom document properties saved within the file and displays the vales in the docker. I have it currently set to update when i switch between documents or when the document is closed, the docker is cleared of all the values. I still , to this day, can not figure out how to refresh automatically after I save a document.

The Join Curves docker seems like a handy tool, unfortunately following the directions yields no change--I can't get it to do anything at all. Is this a known issue? I have X5 with the latest SP, just installed a few days ago.

I am having trouble with some of the dockers. Some of them when i go to window dockers and click on them come up just fine, but there are a few and don't come up at all. Like Contour or Text Properties.

Acceleration in the Contour Docker is back to front (or is it just me) ie. Object Acceleration accelerates Colour and Colour accelerates Object.

Is there a quick and easy way to delete all symbols in the Symbol Manager docker? I know there is a macro that converts symbols to objects but the macro does not affect this part the document that has ANOTHER set of Symbols....know what I mean? Maybe a macro that digs and wipes out all symbols in the docker?
It takes a REALLY long time just to delete them one by one...even multi-selecting did not work.

The latest version has built upon the QuickSwap module (select 2 images and then swap them with one click) by adding a QuickSwapSize module which not only swaps 2 images, but also swaps their sizes.The macro also has the original module SwapImage module which pops up a userform and allows the user to choose how the 2 images are swapped (e.g. swap the position of their top left corners, bottom right corners, etc). Here is a screen capture of how the modules appear in the Macro Manager docker, assign shortcut buttons/keystrokes to make them one click away:

PC Config.: Intel Core2Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4GHz, DG33FB, 8GB RAM
CDGS x6 (64 bit) v16.0.0.707
1. Facing problem of frequent CorelDraw X6 crash while working and seemingly most of the times it even don't sent any error messages to Corel support.
2. Transformations docker doesn't accept enter for applying changes, it only responds when we hit apply. It is good to move through options by using TAB, but it should accept ENTER as “APPLY” as we make desired change in any parameter. Mostly I prefer dockers to property bar.
3. Open and Import dialogue boxes don’t get cancelled as we hit ESC key.
4. Using pick tool double click a group of objects including paragraph text and get desired rotation is still a havoc despite we are using x6 (64-bit). It kills much of our time. See screen shot below:
5. I am also facing problem in EPS editable import as shown in the screen shot below "An error occurred while processing PIEE.eps. The file cannot be opened."
The file is created in x6 and has 2 pages for two print jobs. Both pages has flatten background text and fountain lenses to RGB bitmap. All texts converted to curves. Page 1 exported to EPS and then imported as EPS editable successfully. Page 2 exported to EPS and then imported as EPS editable - shown above error. I have also tried importing this page to a fresh file and then created fresh EPS but got the same erroneous result.
As far as my experience with PDF is not good, because sometimes PDF also produces undesired result on RIP specially as RGB images, bar codes, drop shadows etc. I believe that EPS files are far more reliable in prepress jobs.

I have been using Corel for over 20 years, and have never needed support. I do most of my work editing nodes within a drawing for creating continuous line patterns that are repeatable.
For years I have simple "nudged" the first and last point of a complex curve to the appropriate position. Now I want to simplify that by entering in the coordinates for the node.
I have tried Object Coordinates, but it appears to do nothing after I change the node location, or radically change my design. There is no documentation for it. I have searched Customize for some sort of input field to add to the toolbar with no luck.
I always have to add the information on the coordinates of the selected note to the Status Bar, so I am surprised that I can't find an option for editing the position.

In the regional settings of my computer I show negative numbers in brackets instead of the minus sign in front of the number.
With these settings, I am unable to enter negative coordinates in my Corel draw. Corel changes them automatically into positive one.
I have to go to control panel - regional settings and set the negative format back to minus, before I am able to enter negative coordinates in Corel.

When using "pixel units" the position and sizes are reported rounded to the nearest pixel.
The two squares below are both reported as 2 pixels square. One is actually 1.5 pixels square:
can the pixel coordinates and sizes not be rounded?

My project: I want to create a drawing based on a photo. The usual way is to place the picture on the working space in Draw and fix it there.Then draw all parts I want to have in my copy.Problem: I can't always really see what I am drawing.
Now my question:Is there a possibiltiy to "calk" a drawing to different coordinates than above the picture itself?For example: The photo is on the left, I "draw" above the picture and the drawing action, e.g. the stroke, happens right from the photo. The y-coordinates of the copy could stay the same while the x-coordinates are x plus a certain value.

I'm thinking that once the perspective tool is enable the starting/ending coordinates of the fountain fill should lock relative to the shape. What ya think?
As a work around you can position the to be perspective guide shape so the starting/ending coordinates of the fountain fill at least fall close?

X5 Recently have begun missing parts of print out. Tried to duplicate but appears completely random.
Output to both Full colour laser and Wide Format printers will miss either text or part of objects. Today printed the text but not the text effects. Initially closed and reopened, rebooted, However this has become a now daily feature so regardless tried reprint from the same screen so next print has everything included.
Very costly and time consuming - print preview shows all correct but output is not the same.
Running Win 7 64bit 8GB Ram

Is there a way to exclude single attributes from being defined in a object style? As example: i want to define an outline that does not change width of the objects, but everything else.
There is a small tick box right of every attribute with help text "None this object attribute is not defined by a custom style" but i can not mark it. My feeling is, that i need to switch on this tick box to get the result i need, but i can not. When i click on it, it just gives me a greyed out "Revert". When i try to make child styles, there is a way to break the connection to parent style with these tick boxes, but no luck.
Is it a bug? I tried it with X6, X6.1 and X6.2

Using CorelDraw X6.1
Having issues with exporting files to an .eps format - using "selected only" some of the objects that I have selected do not get exported - ie. they are missing from the .eps file altogether.
On top of that, most of my colours get washed out to a grey scale - I do work in spot colours.
I have tried f8, and tried reinstalling.

I've designed a simple graphic in X6 and printed directly to Roland ecosol printer. My black text doesn't show up on the print. I've spent a few hours and a lot of paper trying to figure this out.
The black text that isn't showing up is designed to be on top of a yellow box. When I print as intended, the text doesn't show. However, when I move the text off the box, it is printed and visible. Is it a document setup, color management, or print settings issue? Or none of the above?

I'm running CD X5 on a windows 7 machine. I had a custom "my Toolbar" set up wit all my most used tools and now suddenly it's gone! It is turned on in the menu (checked). I have unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. I have re-booted my machine and still nothing. why it's gone but I can't seem to get it back.
