I must have pressed something, the details of the object in the object manager docker is not showing up, i always used it when selecting objects instead of selecting it from the document itself, how do i bring it back?
View 9 RepliesIs there a quick and easy way to delete all symbols in the Symbol Manager docker? I know there is a macro that converts symbols to objects but the macro does not affect this part the document that has ANOTHER set of Symbols....know what I mean? Maybe a macro that digs and wipes out all symbols in the docker?
It takes a REALLY long time just to delete them one by one...even multi-selecting did not work.
The latest version has built upon the QuickSwap module (select 2 images and then swap them with one click) by adding a QuickSwapSize module which not only swaps 2 images, but also swaps their sizes.The macro also has the original module SwapImage module which pops up a userform and allows the user to choose how the 2 images are swapped (e.g. swap the position of their top left corners, bottom right corners, etc). Here is a screen capture of how the modules appear in the Macro Manager docker, assign shortcut buttons/keystrokes to make them one click away:

In the object colour docker how to I type in the Pantone number I want to use like I was able to do in X3 and X5? I cannot find anywhere I can do this now in X6. It just shows me this:
I have Corel DRAW Home & Student Suite X5. It appears not to include the Docker "Object Coordinates" although both the video and Help files include prescriptions for using it.Corel Support insist that this docker is present in this edition of X5 and instruct me to reset the application defaults (F8).F8 does not reveal the missing docker, nor does a complete uninstall/reinstall. It seems to me that "Object Coordinates actually is NOT there.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOccassionally the object properties in my object manager will dissappear and I am unable to bring them back. I have tried toggling all the buttons on the manager, restarting corel, resetting corel to it's default settings and restarting my computer but nothing will bring back the properties. It does not happen on every single file but it happens often enough to be a pain. I have attached a picture of what the object manager looks like.

After I import different files in my working file, it's getting hard to work- RAM(16GB) is getting completely full and its almost unworkable!
I checked out Object Manager and found stack with "SVG data" and "Locked SVG data" object there under some basic shapes.
Stack is about from 10000 to 100000... Some times even more, but its not possible to select all them because Corel just stops. What is that- "SVG data" and "Locked SVG data" object and why they are so many there?
Question: How can I get the objects to appear in the Object Manager?
I have the CorelDraw 6X suite. The objects in the Object Manager window are not showing up. It's supposed to have curves, images, and text there. Instead, it has got just the following:

Desktop

Layer 1
Document Grid
I have been using CorelDraw since about 1999. My first CorelDraw program was CorelDraw 9. Then about six or eight months ago I purchased CorelDraw 6X
This is the first time anything like this has ever happened.
My object manager is missing. It is available if I select the Adobe Illustrator option but not when I select Corel. How to get it back.

The screen pauses, blips a flash of light, the bottom layer briefly appears and then goes back to the layer I'm working on. I'm using Draw X3 and there are over 20 layers.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust as of today, as I begin adding objects &/or text to a graphic, absolutely nothing is 'showing up' in the Object Manager under Layer 1. It seems like always in the past, whenever I added a shape or text or curve or anything, a new line would be added under whatever Layer I was working in, detailing the object's properties.
Is there some simple config-setting that I tripped without knowing it?
I'd like to delete a layer but the layer cannot be deleted from the object manager as the delete menu item is disabled for that layer.

Now it just shows the curved symbol. Would like to get this back.

My list of objects in the Object Manager docker have disappeared and I can't see how to get them back. With the layer manager view I can see the layers but no way can I display the objects (which I normally use a lot).
I have the object manager pane visible at the right of my screen. It shows the layers and status of those layers in my drawing. It has the + icon that allows each layer to be expanded to show every line in that layer. The trouble I am having is that each an every time I do something in the drawing to a line it prompts the Object Manager list to expand to the full list of lines. Clicking the - icon closes this down to just the layer name.
Thing is, how do I stop it expanding the the list to the line level of detail in the first place. I rarely need that level of detail and waste lots of time closing the view down.
We are using CorelDRAW 15.2.686.0 on our fleet and are noticing that Object Manager has some weird behaviour when you add objects to a page after you copy/paste an object onto a page.
Below shows me adding some rectangles to a page and object manager showing them:
Then when I copy paste an image into the document this object and any subsequent objects are not shown in the Object Manager:
As you see I have more objects than are shown in the Object Manager!
If I go to the Window Menu, then Dockers, then untick the Object Manager box, then once again go back and tick it, then all the objects on my page now show in Object Manager!
I am trying to edit the Master Page in Corel Draw X4. However I can't find how to list it in the obect manager. The first image shows the Object Manager as I see it.
The second image shows an example of the Object Manager as people have posted in other discussion topics.
How do I list all pages within the Object Manager as shown in this second example, and have the + and - buttons to expand the selection ?
Any macro that will close the Object Manager Docker then re open it again? Due to the bug with it, the objects in it disappear, or the icons for visible and print stop toggling, so I have to close it and reopen it. Tried recording one, but the recorder ignored my closing and opening. Just thought it would be handy, for when it locks up like that to press one button, rather multiple buttons and menus.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy object manager all of a sudden decided to not show the objects on the layers. If I click the "eye" on the layer it will show or hide, but the names of the objects on the layers are not listed under the layer name.
If I right click on the layer, it has the check beside visible, printable, and editable. I have Corel Draw Graphics Suite X4.
when I select several objects and try to deselect some of them in the object manager the list scrolls down after each click. This happens only in long lists when I deselect objects that are rather in top of the list. It then scrolls until the end of the list and I have to scroll up again for deselecting any further object. Can this be fixed?
Furthermore I would like to know if there is any way to select/deselect by a filter? For example: Deselect all objects that are of the type text or all curves that have a border.
I'm developing a custom docker, as per this post. By default, the title of the docker will be set to the name of the class that implements the UserControl. How can this title be changed into something more meaningful?

View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen I select some objects (could be in same layer or in diff layers), then go to lens docker and apply a 50% transparency, the areas of all the objects are changed to greyscale.
I can use the transparency tool and drag across for multiple objects and the transparency works great, but when i want to apply the same transparency to the whole thing (using the layer docker), it messes up.
... and when you go Ctrl-z to undo the changes, the lens docker doesn't update it's value to suit what the transparency has been undone to... so it's all whacked up.
I'm so sick of posting bugs. It feels like the functionality isn't tested very well at all.
One Question:
I noticed that in CDX4 under the tranformations docker we had the "apply to duplicate" feature under the rotate option. However, I do not see it in CDX5.
Is this a change that was made to CDX5? Or am I missing something when I loaded CDX5 to my computer?
I've been using CorelDRAW X6 for a bit now (upgraded from X5), and I've noticed a few caveats so far.
1. Align nodes
When trying to align nodes, there seems to be some interesting behavior for alignment. When shift + clicking directly on the nodes, and then selecting Align nodes and performing an align operation (such as Horizontal), the nodes will all align to the last one selected.
However, if you perform the same operation, and marquee select each node individually, then it will always align to the same node. It doesn't seem to matter on which order you do it in.
Steps to reproduce on my end:- Open a new CorelDRAW X6 document- Draw a new object using the Freehand tool with multiple node points- Edit the shape using the Shape tool- Select multiple nodes by holding Shift+dragging around the nodes- Align nodes, see which node it aligns to- Undo Align nodes, redo the same selection but different order- Align nodes, should align back to the same node regardless of the order
Is this to be expected? In CorelDRAW X5 it seems to go to the last node selected, regardless of marquee selection or click selection, unless this behavior was changed for some particular reason. Would just like to know if it's just me doing something wrong here.
2. Color docker
For the Color docker, there seems to be an issue that is mostly cosmetic, but it is noticeable. When the Color docker is open and docked, switching from a palette to color viewers resizes the palette on reselect.
Steps to reproduce on my end:- Open CorelDRAW X6, start a new document, enable the Color docker and dock it- Switch to a Palette (such as Pantone)- Restart CorelDRAW X6 to ensure that it is properly sized, and start a new document- In the Color docker, select another tab, such as the Show color viewers- Select back the Palette. All of the boxes should be oversized and the whole docker should now be larger than normal- Restart CorelDRAW X6 and it will return to normal until another tab is selected again.
One last thing about the Color docker. Is there any reason in particular that the Eyedropper Tool from the left hand menu is discrete? I realize that an Eyedropper tool has been added to the Color docker (threw me off initially), and that only seems to change the color within the docker, but it would be nice to have the same options from before with the main Eyedropper tool (1, 2x2, 5x5, etc) that was available before.
Note: I am using CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 6.1 (CorelDRAW version 16.1.0.843) 64-bit.
