This issue is difficult to describe on paper. When I'm working in the OM when I edit an object on a layer, the screen flashes.. The screen pauses, blips a flash of light, the bottom layer briefly appears and then goes back to the layer I'm working on. I'm using Draw X3 and there are over 20 layers.
View 4 RepliesOccassionally the object properties in my object manager will dissappear and I am unable to bring them back. I have tried toggling all the buttons on the manager, restarting corel, resetting corel to it's default settings and restarting my computer but nothing will bring back the properties. It does not happen on every single file but it happens often enough to be a pain. I have attached a picture of what the object manager looks like.

After I import different files in my working file, it's getting hard to work- RAM(16GB) is getting completely full and its almost unworkable!
I checked out Object Manager and found stack with "SVG data" and "Locked SVG data" object there under some basic shapes.
Stack is about from 10000 to 100000... Some times even more, but its not possible to select all them because Corel just stops. What is that- "SVG data" and "Locked SVG data" object and why they are so many there?
Question: How can I get the objects to appear in the Object Manager?
I have the CorelDraw 6X suite. The objects in the Object Manager window are not showing up. It's supposed to have curves, images, and text there. Instead, it has got just the following:

I have been using CorelDraw since about 1999. My first CorelDraw program was CorelDraw 9. Then about six or eight months ago I purchased CorelDraw 6X
This is the first time anything like this has ever happened.
My object manager is missing. It is available if I select the Adobe Illustrator option but not when I select Corel. How to get it back.

View 9 Replies View RelatedJust as of today, as I begin adding objects &/or text to a graphic, absolutely nothing is 'showing up' in the Object Manager under Layer 1. It seems like always in the past, whenever I added a shape or text or curve or anything, a new line would be added under whatever Layer I was working in, detailing the object's properties.
Is there some simple config-setting that I tripped without knowing it?
I'd like to delete a layer but the layer cannot be deleted from the object manager as the delete menu item is disabled for that layer.

My list of objects in the Object Manager docker have disappeared and I can't see how to get them back. With the layer manager view I can see the layers but no way can I display the objects (which I normally use a lot).
I have the object manager pane visible at the right of my screen. It shows the layers and status of those layers in my drawing. It has the + icon that allows each layer to be expanded to show every line in that layer. The trouble I am having is that each an every time I do something in the drawing to a line it prompts the Object Manager list to expand to the full list of lines. Clicking the - icon closes this down to just the layer name.
Thing is, how do I stop it expanding the the list to the line level of detail in the first place. I rarely need that level of detail and waste lots of time closing the view down.
We are using CorelDRAW 15.2.686.0 on our fleet and are noticing that Object Manager has some weird behaviour when you add objects to a page after you copy/paste an object onto a page.
Below shows me adding some rectangles to a page and object manager showing them:
Then when I copy paste an image into the document this object and any subsequent objects are not shown in the Object Manager:
As you see I have more objects than are shown in the Object Manager!
If I go to the Window Menu, then Dockers, then untick the Object Manager box, then once again go back and tick it, then all the objects on my page now show in Object Manager!
I am trying to edit the Master Page in Corel Draw X4. However I can't find how to list it in the obect manager. The first image shows the Object Manager as I see it.
The second image shows an example of the Object Manager as people have posted in other discussion topics.
How do I list all pages within the Object Manager as shown in this second example, and have the + and - buttons to expand the selection ?
Any macro that will close the Object Manager Docker then re open it again? Due to the bug with it, the objects in it disappear, or the icons for visible and print stop toggling, so I have to close it and reopen it. Tried recording one, but the recorder ignored my closing and opening. Just thought it would be handy, for when it locks up like that to press one button, rather multiple buttons and menus.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy object manager all of a sudden decided to not show the objects on the layers. If I click the "eye" on the layer it will show or hide, but the names of the objects on the layers are not listed under the layer name.
If I right click on the layer, it has the check beside visible, printable, and editable. I have Corel Draw Graphics Suite X4.
when I select several objects and try to deselect some of them in the object manager the list scrolls down after each click. This happens only in long lists when I deselect objects that are rather in top of the list. It then scrolls until the end of the list and I have to scroll up again for deselecting any further object. Can this be fixed?
Furthermore I would like to know if there is any way to select/deselect by a filter? For example: Deselect all objects that are of the type text or all curves that have a border.
I am having an issue with X6 installed on my laptop. When I try to save, the dialog pops up and flashes at a high rate and seems to be continually re-sizing. The only remedy seems to be to kill the process and lose the work. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium service pack 1 (32-bit) and release 16.2.0.998 of Corel Draw. This is not the demo version, it is a purchased license.

solving the problem of brief "blips" or "jerks" following transitions in video generated by VS X2 from AVCHD clips.
Last November, I reported to Corel the problem of brief "jerks" or "blips" in AVCHD video files or hybrid discs generated by VS Pro X2 from clips created by my Sony SR11. There was a long thread here in which several Canon users stated that they had the same problem. [URL]
In addition to transitions, I also get the same blips in the video at the end of titles placed over the top of video. I am not sure whether Canon users have that problem.
Since the problem still has not been fixed, I followed up last week with Corel asking for the status of the fix for this problem. In their reply, they asked for more sample clips and asked that I post their ftp site URL where you can upload clips that will demonstrate the problem. They want clips from the various AVCHD camcorder models which are having this problem. They didn't say whether they want raw clips or VS-generated clips that contain the blip, but I suspect they want raw clips so they can try to re-create the problem on their systems.
When selecting a clip to upload, what appears to cause the problem is that at the end of a transition or title, the video jumps back one frame and then proceeds forward again. Thus two frames are repeated, which causes the "blip". You can see this by viewing the generated file frame-by-frame.
So the blip is most apparent when there is obvious, but smooth, movement in the original clip. The raw clip I sent them when I reported the problem in November was of a truck driving down a highway, moving across the screen from left to right, and was shot on a tripod to eliminate any camcorder movement. In the VS-generated video, at the end of the transition, the truck jumped backwards slightly then went forward again.
A clip containing little or no movement, or a clip that is already jerky and unsteady, will not illustrate the problem well. So please select your clip accordingly. A single object moving across the screen against a non-moving background would be ideal.

What is the command to turn of fblips in ACAD 2013? In ACAD 2011, you can set BLIPMODE to OFF. But that command is not recognized in 2013.

xref'd layout is 2d so I want to snap blips on my feature lines from the original location to new location while maintaining their z value.
I know you can turn off and on the ability to pick z values but can't remember the command (lost notes).
I have tried changing the osnapz option with now luck.
Background: I work IT here at a trophy shop and we do a lot of artwork for plaques and acrylic/glass awards. I am versed in IT but not CorelDraw in-particular.
Problem: One artist tells me that her CorelDraw seems to randomly crash and display "Recovery manager wizard" "Application has become unstable" and after files are saved the application closes out.
It happens more when i import eps files:
the 'layers only' toggle of the object manager will go blank; the toggle where the master layer and all objects are listed still works, just the layers only listing goes blank. All files opened after the event will do the same, requires a shutting down of CorelDraw and restart to bring things back to normal.

Just installed X6. However, even though I installed Symbols and Objects from the content install, symbol manager does not see the symbols library on my hard drive. I guess it expects me to add a library, but where this symbols library is. Am I supposed to install the entire content package (I really don't want to clutter my hard drive with thousands of unwanted images) in order for symbol manager to be able to automatically find where the symbols are?

My symbol manager doesn't work in CorelDRAW X5.
I open the symbol manager and click on local or network symbols, add library and go to c: users/public/ public documents/ Corel/ CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5/ extras/ content/ clipart and click on any of the folders or files and then click on "ok" and I get absolutely nothing.
Nothing appears in the symbol preview at anytime. I think I am doing this according to the instructions. I know the clip art is there because I can navigate to it through windows and open them.
I uninstalled, re-installed, and updated it.
The most annoying in the style sheets, view manager since x3 is still existed in the x6 as style sheet sets having unnecessary styles which i have not created besides color styles & view manager as well. Are they not considered anyhow ?
Default style set is ok and Styles is also ok to create our own but Why this nuisance of style sets which are having a lot of dump. Truly view manager is unnecessary docker i think but have lots of zoomed data.
What determines the order of items shown in the Macro Manager? Is there anyway to have the modules show up in alphabetical order?

I know there is a macro that converts symbols to objects but the macro does not affect this part the document that has ANOTHER set of Symbols....know what I mean? Maybe a macro that digs and wipes out all symbols in the docker?
It takes a REALLY long time just to delete them one by one...even multi-selecting did not work.
The latest version has built upon the QuickSwap module (select 2 images and then swap them with one click) by adding a QuickSwapSize module which not only swaps 2 images, but also swaps their sizes.The macro also has the original module SwapImage module which pops up a userform and allows the user to choose how the 2 images are swapped (e.g. swap the position of their top left corners, bottom right corners, etc). Bitstream font manager will not open. I have un-installed it, reinstalled it, uninstalled the complete suite and then reinstalled it. Was there not an issue last year with a Microsoft Security update that disabled Type1 fonts, but I'm sure Bitsream did still work. Today I had an update for "Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer" but I restored XP before today's update to try and eliminate that as being the problem. Last week I had problems with "User Profiles" being corrupted (no cdr files were listed that I could see) due to overheating hard drives but that was sorted out and everything has been fine untill today.
