It happens more when i import eps files:
the 'layers only' toggle of the object manager will go blank; the toggle where the master layer and all objects are listed still works, just the layers only listing goes blank. All files opened after the event will do the same, requires a shutting down of CorelDraw and restart to bring things back to normal.

I have a drawing where I need to open the layer manager to turn on a layer in a view port but cannot get to that particular column. As you look across the top of the layer manager I can see all the headings of each column beginning with "Name", "Status", "On" and so forth. The last column heading I see is "Description" but I need to go even further to the right to get to the column I need to be at but can't get there. There is no scroll button on the bottom of the layer manager which would allow me to do that.

Default style set is ok and Styles is also ok to create our own but Why this nuisance of style sets which are having a lot of dump. Truly view manager is unnecessary docker i think but have lots of zoomed data.
When I open any of my cdr files, the view manager opens over 400 views. It takes quite a while to open any file. If I take the time to delete all of the views after opening the file, (it seems that they have to be deleted 1 by 1) and I resave the file, the views stay deleted. The ironic thing is that I have never even used the view manager, or saved any views.

It seems like always in the past, whenever I added a shape or text or curve or anything, a new line would be added under whatever Layer I was working in, detailing the object's properties.
Is there some simple config-setting that I tripped without knowing it?
I'd like to delete a layer but the layer cannot be deleted from the object manager as the delete menu item is disabled for that layer.

So far so good. When I click in the sheet to set the location the viewport goes empty. I can stretch the viewport to top left to get the drawing within range and then move it back to where I want to place the drawing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently my Photoshop has decided that it no longer likes Background Layers so every time I open a jpg file in Photoshop CS6 it opens the file as a layer instead of a bakcground layer.
It's a small issue but when you are working with 100+ photos that need a quick edit and save it becomes incredibly annoying to have to reset the file type I want to save to or adjust the layer back to a background layer with each photo. When I'm doing it once or twice it's no big deal but those extra few steps become time consuming when I work in bulk and I work on a tight deadline.
It's only doing it with some files. Mostly the newer ones. Any older jpgs I open are fine but anything new is opened as a regular layer.
Is there some sort of setting I accidentally clicked without realising it? Because I have looked everywhere I can think of and fiddled with settings all over the place but something missing.

is there a way i can record the blank layer, and still see the the picture, but in the video, only the blank layer shows up.
When opening a photo in CS-5, all I get is a blank layer. Navigator shows the photo that I opened.

After I run my program, the viewports will show the layers I want thawed and will hide the layers I want frozen, but when you look at the layer manager, it would show all layers are on and thawed.
If you save the drawing, close it and re-open it, the layer manager now seems fine and matches the viewports as to what is thawed and what is frozen.
We have just upgraded to 2012 map 3d and now every time I open a drawing whether or not in the sheet set manager or straight from the file location, the layer properties manager opens with it. Is there a way to make it not open every time a drawing is opened?

Run into an issue in AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 when multiple raster images (in this case 66 ortho images) are attached as data connections, you cannot see New Layers when you create them in the default Layer Properties Manager?
I have found using the Classic Layer Properties Manager is a work around.
It doesn’t seem to matter if the ortho images are connected individually or grouped as a single layer.
I'm running Map 3D with SP2 applied.
On random drawings, I am having issues where when I click layer manager, where you would see all the layers and attributes, it's black or blank. Not all files do this, but happens randomly.

I have a user who is experiencing a blank or improperly rendered layer dialog box from time to time (see image attached).
I've seen this with another user at a different office as well. I assume its a video driver issue but as I'm strictly a CAD manager and not IT support, messing around with that is outside my responsibilities.
A restart usually fixes the issue but I figured I try to at least find out of its a known issue with a known cause (and a known fix).
I need to move an image into a new layer.
